I've just started taking creatine. I'm 52 and post menopausal and workout 5 to 6 times a week. Largely strength training to maintain my muscle mass. I'm excited to see how this affects me. I feel as though I'm coming out of the worst of the menopausal brain fog but really happy to read so many accounts of this helping maintain mental clarity. I have ok muscles, but with them atrophying as I get older, I'm all for helping maintain the muscle mass. Does it help with bone strength too? Your products are excellent value and I love the helpful channel with bags of helpful, quick to the point info! Will look forward to reporting back in a few months. Popeye, watch out!
@helojoeywala6622 Жыл бұрын
creatine doesn't help with bone strength but working out does help with bone strength. Eat foods that support bone health. Get enough calcium, vitamin D, and protein each day. Low-fat dairy; leafy green vegetables; fish; and fortified juices, milk, and grains are good sources of calcium. If your vitamin D level is low, talk with your doctor about taking a supplement. Get active. Choose weight-bearing exercise, such as strength training, walking, hiking, jogging, climbing stairs, tennis, and dancing. This type of physical activity can help build and strengthen your bones. Don’t smoke. Smoking increases your risk of weakened bones. Limit alcohol consumption. Too much alcohol can harm your bones. Drink in moderation or not at all.
@katehartley7566 Жыл бұрын
@@helojoeywala6622 epic! Thanks for your reply. I'm doing all the things you suggest daily. Good to know about creatine not directly helping with bone strength, but with the strength training I do, that should help take care of that.

@@thefakezoro4882 the food you eat shouldn't affect the effects of creatine but depending on your goals you may need to change what you eat. That's completely dependent on your goals though

Since it makes you last longer in the gym, wouldn’t that mean it would be more difficult to deteriorate the muscle fibers?. I only ask this because before creatine i would be super sore but after taking creatine, i would literally recover the same night after i hit the gym and would feel no kind of soreness when i wake up or through the day.
@tomsaww75162 жыл бұрын
this is what id like to know, does it limit how much time you have before your muscle fully repairs. this sounds kind of bad to me.
@bonnieflax38612 жыл бұрын
It helps your muscles recover faster, that's why you're not as sore, or sore at all.

Seems like it just increases availible energy. Muscles still develop microtears, they just have more energy and take longer to reach exaustion. If anything being able to do more exercise should help create more microtears.

soreness does not equal to muscle growth. its not an indicator of it so don't worry too much

Can i use creatine during the day, and after use whey protein as-well? I just bought whey protein, and now I landed on this. Im starting to gain weight as-well, started at 175, now i am 200 but i am 6’3. Need help. Which should be best for me for lean muscle gains.

You can mix your creatine in with your protein or anything. Also the times you take it doesn’t matter as long as you’re staying consistent

Hi Richie,will there be any side effects ? There is a myth that creatine causes hair loss. Very much appreciated if you could provide more information on this.

I talk about the side effects in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5Oveqx3a6afiZY . And there's no evidence to indicate it causes hair loss
