Im aromantic. I cant feel romance, but stars above this feels exactly like falling in love. Every single time I've made a friend who means the world to me, every time I share a silly night with my brother talking about whatever, every time I hug my parents and they give me what they've learned, every time I head into the college classroom and nerd out about a new incredible topic, and, most importantly, every time I realize how completely beautiful I am. That is falling in love. And that is what this sounds like.

It feels like finally waking up after a long nap with the sun just barely in your eyes. You've made it, that nightmare called living is gone. You're back where you want to be. *Right* where you want to be. The wind is blowing, the leaves are shaking, and you take a deep breath. Everything that's happened never happened. Everyone that was never will be. And it's just you. And it feels like relief. The fact that everything you've gone through was nothing more than a dream. "Maybe", you think. "Maybe I can just sit here a little while longer." And the world is okay with that. The time passes longer, now that you're here. But it's not an issue. Your heart isn't beating as fast. Your thoughts aren't plaguing you. There's nothing on your schedule. Nothing that needs your attention. You can have all the time in the world. You have so much to explore. Still, so very much to explore. It's a relief. A new start. You're happy, as sad as it all sounds. It's just peaceful. "Finally," you think. Once more. "It is finally, finally over. And to think, it was never real..."
@polarisqwq5 ай бұрын
I often have this dream a lot when I go to sleep. I don't feel myself speaking or thinking. Sometimes it's under the clear waters of a shallow lake in the middle of a forest. It's cool, and cold. Other times it feels like the winds just been knocked out of me after falling a long distance, gathering my breath once more as I stare up at the trees that crowd the sky. Other times, my eyes are hardly even awake and open in the dream. And the sun shines through. And everything is calmer, and better. I can feel the winds, the ground, the grass. I can feel the breath in my lungs, deeper and deeper as I take them. It's a relief. All of it is a relief. I guess I just want to wake up from it all one day, and feel as if it all were never real or happened in the first place. Sorry for it being simultaneously uplifting and sad at the same time.

This feels like you just woke up on the trampoline in your backyard, its still summer of 2014(or whatever year you want) and all of this that is happening right now.. is just a dream.. one big dream, asleep on the warm trampoline, in the backyard, the warm sun on your body, the leaves swaying in the wind, the smell of freshly cut grass.. no worries in mind as you sleep..

This genuinely is how it feels, but I can never keep the feeling, it comes and goes, crushes fly by, but.. I never got to feel this feeling fully, only partially I feel this way, it hurts knowing I cant fully keep this feeling. It's like having a friend from the beginning of school all the way to middle/high school, and they just don't feel the same. It just feels like a giant rock has been shot at you, ripping your stomach and heart out after hearing it, and when you try to get the feeling again, it just doesn't hit the same as it used to, so as you try to go back to get the real feeling of love, you see your old friend/crush, with another, heads resting on each other.. your friend, your crush, with someone else.. and all you can do is just stare, and slowly die inside, crying your eyes out privately as you get home.. knowing you'll never feel that full feeling of love.

"I have watched my creations fall apart and die, wither away, writhe in pain wishing for death, and watch them tear each other apart. Yet, despite all the power I have... I do nothing. I simply watch as my creations fall apart one by one. As their creations fall apart, one after the other. But despite all this... I feel nothing. If the last piece of existence was on the verge of non-existence, I would simply watch as it faded. It is not out of hatred or shock, but simply because I could make it again with a mere thought. Because of this, all is meaningless to me. So tell me, my last surviving creation... What is compassion? What is pain? What does it feel like to fall in love?"

The night carried solace, the trickle of rainfall resounding within the walls of the bedroom. "Hey...you ok?" Her voice sounding pained, as if something was wrong, missing, left out. I didnt listen, the motorcycle peaked at 200. The winding freeway barren. "Even if you arent listening, I just wanted to say...I care." Her words fell on deaf ears, the motorcycle roaring as the raindrops fell past me. "And I just hope this message finds you well!" Her words sticking like sweat, the last thing I heard before the resounding crash.

The title is misleading in someways, the song is just one way to represent the feeling of falling in love. What is it that you fell in love with, with whom did you fall in love with, it's up to you in my opinion, from what I've learned it is a state of being where all you want to do is be with that thing or person at all times, in my case I fall in love with games, I want and will do whatever I can to just play them till I can't no more, and then play them some more, may the song help those understand that love is a tricky thing, it's misleading but fair, it targets no one and everyone, may love find you as it has me in your own way

Great composition, I love it. I do have one big critique, however. I would love to see more in depth harmonies with the piano and the strings. It sounds good, but I think that implementing the circle of fifths in the piece more could really improve how the various instruments interact and meld with each other, excluding the bass. You may also want to experiment with relative minors in pieces as well. I'm not sure how familiar you are with music theory, so I won't delve super deep into that, but depending on what key this is in, you could use relative minors in order to create a "fuller" piece by implementing the key which uses the relative minor of another key as the root. Just a thought lol
