Something, or someone, has to BELONG to you, before you can be JEALOUS of it…….just my understanding………

Logically yes, but like a lot of other things, jealousy can be corrupted.

If we suffer unjustly and suffer like Jesus did, we show the world His suffering and gain an opening for the gospel. God is quite rich enough to pay us back and more for every loss, maybe in this life but definitely in the next. If we suffer something unjust but do not suffer like Jesus did, then maybe we are getting a justice from God, being paid back for not being like Jesus in our hearts. However, repentance will bring recovery.
