No forward thinking for me, means I'm calm. Got out at 5am, for a walk. So peaceful. Have gone back out at 10am and my mind racing, all from a symptom from my arm. Sigh. Struggling to reassure myself I'm good. Have pulled over to take five and listen. Today's video reasonated. Thanks 🙏 Actually had a EMDR taster session on Wednesday for PTSD before we go to the heavy stuff. Omg all of sudden my body fully relaxed, ,(safe)I'd forgotten what that felt like. I was able to leave the session , drive through London traffic, get petrol, go shopping etc, no panic, no symptoms. I know, along with your videos, a cure is reachable. Never give up hope.

@maryamighi6834 Жыл бұрын
Please, if you can, take "never and always" out of your vocabulary. They are absolutes, extremes and are not helpful to anyone and that would include you. Dance, breathe, chant, meditate, move, whatever makes you feel more joyful and safety will follow. I'll say a little prayer for you :)

I can’t imagine pain free. I bounce from one pain to another in another part of my body and once I get rid of one something else starts. Or it’s one foot then goes to the other etc. It’s hard to not view it as something wrong. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong anymore. I’m not freaking out about it but I am feeling worn out every time something new hurts.
@joannerowell4410 Жыл бұрын
Have you tried somatic tracking? It really helps me to look at my pain in safety without fear.
@1STLUCKYB Жыл бұрын
That's me a lot of days, some days it's less. It will happen for you. I think when we notice a lessening the mind reads fear and away it goes firing signals. Our bodies do get addicted to those cortisol/adrenaline rushes and the" better the devil I know" cycle starts. Dan recommended a book called DARE by Barry McDonagh for anxiety/health etc. Same sort of message Dan gives. There is a app, some of what is free on a week's trial, annual £60. Every night a wind down session, I'm out before it ends.

I am so so sorry you are in this place. I can relate as I have been there too many times to count. But I joined Dan's group program and now I am getting better. If I told you my story you wouldn't have thought it was possible, but it is happening and I am becoming pain free. It is the most loving and supportive environment. We can help you get there. I thought it wouldn't be possible. But I can promise you it is. xxx
@PainFreeYou Жыл бұрын
Maybe not freaking out, but seem to still be unclear that your brain is creating the symptoms and wondering what's wrong. That creates a high alert state and a brain perceiving danger which keeps the cycle going. Watch this video and see if you are creating safety consistently. kzbin.info/www/bejne/e6ucdq1qbrJrf8k

@@PainFreeYou I’ve been rid of back pain that I had for years and knee and neck pain yet with the plantar fasciitis in my feet the same technique I applied to the other areas of pain doesn’t seem to have an effect on this and that is why I think maybe something is wrong. Why would it take a different strategy than what worked so perfectly for my other pain? The brain must really not want me out here running 🤣because the only time I’ve ever had pains in the last year has been when I’m running! When I don’t run for extended periods nothing bothers me. I have no idea why this is viewed so dangerously by my brain. I’m back to every other workout imaginable, lifting weights, yoga etc. Just running it doesn’t wanna let go of and the more I try to remind myself I’m ok the worse it gets. I’ve taken the steps to resuming activity and still flare ups

I’ve been doing this work over a year. Maybe 18 months. I’ve had zero improvement. If anything in worse. I’ve read books, subscribe to Curable, watch videos, breathing techniques, meditation etc etc. I feel suicidal today, at this moment that is the only solution to end my misery.

@cassettepat Жыл бұрын
@@desertbluesplaylist7550 soreness in my sides, back, neck. Overall fatigue. On a bad day my neck is mega sore and my head feels like it’s in a vice. My pain is a constant 5/10 as opposed to sudden sharp spasms. Had chronic pain of different sorts for 15 years. All my scans are clear.

Your body sounds so locked in with tension, no wonder you feel like this. Week free trial of the Dare App, by Barry McDonagh, same approach as Dan's for anxiety, health etc. Dan recommended his book. You can gradually reduce this PDP. You're in the right place and your life is worth living. Xx
