Ya despite the joke that’s needed though. It’s why a baby isn’t put in a plastic bubble after being born. The building blocks of your immune system and viruses and bacteria. Some not good, like chickenpox staying in you to late develop as shingles. But we have a good form or strep in us. But ya the baby, and people, need to crawl around and touch stuff, touch your face, and get good bacteria - flora - to fight off bad bacteria when it attacks the body. When a baby gets a fever they’ll do 17 tests sometimes. When an adult gets a fever they don’t do that, as they have a built immune system. Immunology 101 material: a downside to the lockdown, wearing a mask and PPE and soaking your house in alcohol daily for months - killing every germ in sight - kills your immune system. It’ll cause a spike in colds/sickness again when people start grabbing public door handles without gloves again. - think fauci will remind us of this basic principle - or let the fear run wild as he has been?
@FDSDFu32784 жыл бұрын
Highlander15 At first, you seemed well informed. Now, you seem like a conspiracist.
@noblesseoblige3194 жыл бұрын
@@michaelwesten1764 That's not how it works, and you openly contradicted yourself. If you build up an immune system over LITERAL YEARS, then being not around germs for a few months won't instantly ruin that for you. That's why they call it "building up" and not "temporarily getting an immune system". It's already there, and will take years to get rid of it. If it were true that being free of germs for a few months will kill you immune system, then babies could never get a stronger immune system. If they are in their homes, seeing only the same few people a day, and rarely interact with others (which is a common thing when you're freaking a month old), then that's the same situation as being quarantined. So their immune system is Dead On Arrival. But it still gets built up anyways? Germs are still around. Everywhere. Unless someone is wearing a mask 24-7, and never touches any part of their bodies, and never goes near any vents or windows, then yeah- that's bad. But it will still take a long ass time to wreck your immune system enough to notice such a huge spike as you are saying. Worst case scenario- you are somehow right and people get sick.... but then they get better and get a stronger immune system again, because as you said, you can develop one over time and exposure. So it's really not that big of a deal either way.
