It blows my mind that people aren’t making the connection between their health and the food on their plates. We aren’t meant to go through life feeling fat, sick and nearly dead. Education is power... learn about ingredients lists and the truth about how animals are raised and treated, prioritize simple ingredients and food that comes from the earth, and watch these changes literally transform your life in so many ways!! Also worth mentioning that plant based substitutes are processed and we actually don’t need as much protein as we’ve been conditioned to believe. Look it up. 🌱

@@tyrannicalbigtech5842 No, the massive improvement in factory farming has increased animal product consumption over the last 50 years. Peoples diet then was largely wheat and potatoes. People couldn't afford excessive amounts of meat, they ate smaller portions. Nowadays you see people in buffets stacking 10 plates of meat, that was unheard of in the past. Also more home baking and people actually listened when told to eat their vegetables.

I’ve been vegan for about 2 years after being vegetarian for many years. You don’t have to buy these meat alternatives to be vegan. Vegan eating is enjoying fruits, vegetables, and whole grains on their own or in tasty combinations. I have either steel cut oatmeal with almond milk, raisins, berries, nuts, and cinnamon OR Ezekiel cereal with added fruit, raisins, etc. Dinner is often a combo of cooked fresh vegetables seasoned with EV olive oil and vinegar and seasonings of your choice. I add hummus to it when I’m ready to eat. Occasionally, I’ll cook some Impossible Burgers to go along with it. The only “bread” that I eat is Ezekiel English muffins and that is rarely. Miyokos has great cashew cheese/butter products. I eat organic whenever possible. Artisana Organics almond butter or walnut/cashew butter is delicious.

It's actually not a nightmare at all, which is the funniest part. I have options at Taco Bell (Veggie Power Bowl, no cheese, sour cream or ranch sauce). I frequently eat at Chipotle. Also, most dishes at restaurants can easily be modified to accompany our needs. There is no need to "eat meat" when dining out with meat eaters like some kind of chameleon. Just be yourself and don't apologize for your diet.

I've been on a carnivore diet/keto diet and I tell you I've felt great. I cut out sugars and carbs and eat fish, chicken, eggs broccoli, asparagus. No fruit. I've lost 40 lbs in 3 months keep in mind this is with daily exercise too. Blood pressure has went down to healthy levels heart rate is healthy now. It isn't meat that's the problem. It's lack of exercise, sugar, overloading on carbs on every meal and self control and accountability. If your doctor says stop or you'll die. Then stop. But if it isn't that then stick with lean or "white" meat. Fish, and chicken/turkey will be your best friends with eggs being a solid snack choice. Pick your veggies and cut out carbs and sugars. Best feeling is to feel yourself hit ketosis and get that rush of energy due to your body burning body fat instead of carbs

Don't let the hype fool you. I know of a couple of people who went from a meat diet to a plant-based meat diet and they gained a lot of weight. It's because the calories in these foods are higher, sometimes MUCH higher, than in meat. They are also much higher in carbs. So it makes sense that they gained weight. One of them became unhealthy, even though she was doing all the right things on the plant-based diet. It took her a while to get her health back and to lose weight after she stopped this diet and got back to her normal low-carb meat diet.
@JeremiahCohen
@JeremiahCohen 2 жыл бұрын
Well yeah if you eat the processed junk showcased in this video. It's not difficult. You buy bags of beans and rice. You go to the produce department. You stop looking for "meat alternatives" for everything and you try to make the best food with the vegetables, allowing them to shine as they were intended to. Poultry and pork are a Type 1 carcinogen, on the same list as tobacco. Red meat is type 2. Those promoting animal based diets are essentially saying, for optimal health, you should smoke a little. Smoke in moderation! lol

@@suzanneaubin7599 There are those that have tried and have experienced unsustainable, life-threatening deficiencies which was only restored through reverting back to a diet that at least consisted some level of meat. I'm aware that it works for some people but it doesn't work for everyone. There's a difference between collective (eg. Everyone) and individual (eg. One or some people) experiences. It's not an objective silver bullet, there's a few subjective differences that make it difficult to have a vegan diet a "one size fits all" for everyone. If it works for someone, that's great - more power to them. If it doesn't, I don't think it's wise to keep trying... the person can easily die and/or be in debilitating pain and suffering from dietary deficiency if continued. Unless you want human beings to excessively suffer and die with self-flaggelation, then that's a whole different can of worms.

My personal experience after eating nuts and beans etc is you really need to research what you are eating.Alfatokins purines etc are in most nuts and beans,some from what I’ve read at very high levels which is a real problem if you already have major liver issues.It’s not just a major swap from one group into another.Sure chicken meat and dairy have some issues but do most of the alternatives including some fish with very high mercury levels.A good place to start Is articles on pubmed etc.Good luck.

Obviously they don't care about your health, it's profitability that runs the food industry. They demonize meat because they can’t get a patent on cow's but heavily subsidized plant based foods are all patented and have a huge profit margin for the patent owners. Plant based eating provides the reason for companies like Monsanto to exist.

High Insulin resistance is a precursor big most modern dieseases including heart disease, cancer, diabetes, etc. on September 1st, 2022 we switched to a carnivore diet and plan on following it for 90 days and then repeating bloodwork. My wife is 73 and I'm 75.

@Black Sperm I have had multiple medical workups, including holistic med, endured a 9-month elimination diet under a nutritionist, take prescription pro-biotics, use ACV, eat fermented foods regularly and NOW that I have eliminated garlic, onion, cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage (other than kraut), wheat, soy, legumes (except small portions of black beans), and eat only one meal a day and extremely low carb, my stomach has never been better and my diabetes is improved. Dietary choices are NOT one size fits all. I eat fish, eggs (raise my own chickens), a little bit of chicken and red meat rarely along with spinach, nuts and nut butters, celery, green beans, carrots, turnips, zucchini, and limited fruit - blueberries mostly. I eat high fiber daily and did increase it gradually.

@Black Sperm Fats make you feel satiated. I lost 120 pounds over 3 years eating “low fat”. Fats are essential for a health nervous system and brain health. I worked in Neurology for 15 years. Eating low fat made my dry skin (I am a senior) even drier and caused my hair to fall out. I have struggled with obesity and eating disorders for over 50 years. Once I isolated my food sensitivities, got my gut micro biome up to par, lost weight to get off most of my meds, I am now doing better than ever! I will NEVER eat 100% plant based. I do have some plant based meals interspersed between my flesh meals. I cannot do carnivore or plant based 100%. For me, it is about balance and, in my 60’s I have a really good grasp of my own body and what is healthy for it. I eat nothing processed, rarely even eat in a restaurant and eat no more than 20 gms of carbs a day (unless I am hiking) which my diabetes likes.
