It blows my mind that people aren’t making the connection between their health and the food on their plates. We aren’t meant to go through life feeling fat, sick and nearly dead. Education is power... learn about ingredients lists and the truth about how animals are raised and treated, prioritize simple ingredients and food that comes from the earth, and watch these changes literally transform your life in so many ways!! Also worth mentioning that plant based substitutes are processed and we actually don’t need as much protein as we’ve been conditioned to believe. Look it up. 🌱

@@tyrannicalbigtech5842 No, the massive improvement in factory farming has increased animal product consumption over the last 50 years. Peoples diet then was largely wheat and potatoes. I’ve been vegan for about 2 years after being vegetarian for many years. You don’t have to buy these meat alternatives to be vegan. Vegan eating is enjoying fruits, vegetables, and whole grains on their own or in tasty combinations. I have either steel cut oatmeal with almond milk, raisins, berries, nuts, and cinnamon OR Ezekiel cereal with added fruit, raisins, etc. Dinner is often a combo of cooked fresh vegetables seasoned with EV olive oil and vinegar and seasonings of your choice. I add hummus to it when I’m ready to eat. Occasionally, I’ll cook some Impossible Burgers to go along with it. The only “bread” that I eat is Ezekiel English muffins and that is rarely. Miyokos has great cashew cheese/butter products. I eat organic whenever possible. Artisana Organics almond butter or walnut/cashew butter is delicious.

It's lack of exercise, sugar, overloading on carbs on every meal and self control and accountability. If your doctor says stop or you'll die. Then stop. But if it isn't that then stick with lean or "white" meat. Fish, and chicken/turkey will be your best friends with eggs being a solid snack choice. Pick your veggies and cut out carbs and sugars. It's because the calories in these foods are higher, sometimes MUCH higher, than in meat. They are also much higher in carbs. So it makes sense that they gained weight. One of them became unhealthy, even though she was doing all the right things on the plant-based diet. It took her a while to get her health back and to lose weight after she stopped this diet and got back to her normal low-carb meat diet.

Well yeah if you eat the processed junk showcased in this video. It's not difficult. You buy bags of beans and rice. You go to the produce department. Poultry and pork are a Type 1 carcinogen, on the same list as tobacco. Red meat is type 2. Those promoting animal based diets are essentially saying, for optimal health, you should smoke a little. @@suzanneaubin7599 There are those that have tried and have experienced unsustainable, life-threatening deficiencies which was only restored through reverting back to a diet that at least consisted some level of meat. It's not an objective silver bullet, there's a few subjective differences that make it difficult to have a vegan diet a "one size fits all" for everyone. If it works for someone, that's great - more power to them. If it doesn't, I don't think it's wise to keep trying... the person can easily die and/or be in debilitating pain and suffering from dietary deficiency if continued. It's all good as far as maybe like a stepping stone, only for short-term and introducing yourself to plant-based. But a whole foods low-fat plant-based lifestyle is the way to go.

Marshmallows and some yogurt brands , some candies too contain Gelatine. Check out the ingredients labels b4 consuming. Gelatine is made from animal collagen - a protein that makes up connective tissues, such as skin, tendons, ligaments, and bones.

My wife and I did keto for two years. We each list 40 pounds. HDL went up and triglycerides went down. Our insulin resistance also improved as was evidenced by lower HOMA-IR scores. High Insulin resistance is a precursor big most modern dieseases including heart disease, cancer, diabetes, etc. on September 1st, 2022 we switched to a carnivore diet and plan on following it for 90 days and then repeating bloodwork. My wife is 73 and I'm 75.

Due to allergies, I cannot eat ANY of the fake meats which all contain common ingredients to help flavor. I cannot eat ANY processed foods at all. I eat fairly plain but fresh meats and only a handful of vegetables I can tolerate. Extreme bloating, pain, constipation then diarrhea is no fun.

@Black Sperm I have had multiple medical workups, including holistic med, endured a 9-month elimination diet under a nutritionist, take prescription pro-biotics, use ACV, eat fermented foods regularly and NOW that I have eliminated garlic, onion, cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage (other than kraut), wheat, soy, legumes (except small portions of black beans), and eat only one meal a day and extremely low carb, my stomach has never been better and my diabetes is improved. Dietary choices are NOT one size fits all. I eat fish, eggs (raise my own chickens), a little bit of chicken and red meat rarely along with spinach, nuts and nut butters, celery, green beans, carrots, turnips, zucchini, and limited fruit - blueberries mostly. I eat high fiber daily and did increase it gradually.

@Black Sperm Fats make you feel satiated. I lost 120 pounds over 3 years eating “low fat”. Fats are essential for a health nervous system and brain health. I worked in Neurology for 15 years. Eating low fat made my dry skin (I am a senior) even drier and caused my hair to fall out. I have struggled with obesity and eating disorders for over 50 years. Once I isolated my food sensitivities, got my gut micro biome up to par, lost weight to get off most of my meds, I am now doing better than ever! I will NEVER eat 100% plant based. I do have some plant based meals interspersed between my flesh meals. I cannot do carnivore or plant based 100%. For me, it is about balance and, in my 60’s I have a really good grasp of my own body and what is healthy for it. I eat nothing processed, rarely even eat in a restaurant and eat no more than 20 gms of carbs a day (unless I am hiking) which my diabetes likes.

ive been a pescatarian for two years and im telling you all the plant based meats like that arent healthy for you. You need to be eating your own prepared vegetables and meals together make your own soy burgers from scratch, etc. Yes you can eat the plant based substitutes when your tired and you physically just cant make dinner then cook it. Ive realized I cant afford fish as much as id like to eat to get my protein and i have no fishing source to catch my own so Im going to have to go back to eating eggs and im going to transition back into chicken

It's not healthy to have highly processed foods in any form, eat clean, cut out bread, cut out sugar get some exercise and that's it, it doesn't matter if you eat meat or not that's a personal preference but please don't fill your vegetarian diet with processed alternatives and don't fill up on grains and gluten they have known auto immune triggers. As a life long vegetarian I know the pitfalls.

Just eat your local, seasonal and traditional foods. Stop packaged and processed food. Eat all whole foods. Eat a balanced diet with variety and don't overuse a resource in your envitonment. We indians eat meat once or twice a week if we eat meat. Be sustainable. Eat enough, don't starve yourself and be active in your lifestyle. Also change your attitude to appreciate and respect food and don't abuse it. Be peaceful and happy about everyday. This way you will become healthy in all aspects of life and keep the earth healthy. You will change your life and the earth.
