Thank you for this video. I had my baby a week after you. Oct 5th. And have been so discouraged with my mom body. I’ve been watching your videos and so jealous that you lost your weight so fast. It mentally helped me to see you show your body wasn’t “perfect” yet. (Although you do look amazing!!) I’m also struggling with some depression. The time change has made it dark at 5pm, not to mention my grandmother just passed. I’ve felt very emotional and just a mess lately. I truly appreciate your honesty and not trying to come across perfect. Thank you so much. You really helped me!

Great advise and not just for postpartum! I love how you aren't afraid to tackle the hard to talk about subjects. I was always the aunt who talked openly about sex to my preteen and teenager nieces and nephews. I would say things like "I know you hear don't have sex and you say you won't but I want you to know its not always easy when someone you like is kissing you and you feel all squishy and good inside." or "When you are playing a game (twister, volleyball) and you get extra close and him/her hand brushes your breasts (or penis) by mistake, you WILL like the feeling." or "You are all alone and you kiss a lot and then he/she starts kissing your neck or gently nibbling on your earlobe, its going to make you feel tingly and you won't want to stop." I of course get the eye role, the blushing face and especially the "I don't want to talk about that!", I say, "Tough! We are going to talk about it! I want you to know these things happen. I want you to hear my voice in your mind saying "Aunt Connie told me I would feel this way. We need to stop!" I can honestly say they come back to me later and tell me I was right. I now have great nieces and nephews and I promise you they will also get the same talk!

Hi Carlie! Thank you for making this honest and real video. I just had my first baby on October 11th and have been very emotional. No one likes to talk about what happens post partum and its easy to feel alone. Thanks for all the tips and tricks on how to deal with it! Congrats on baby Lenny! 💕

I’m having a baby boy in March and I feel like this video is so helpful/going to be so helpful. I love your openness. I’m terrified of the changes that are to come after birth but I feel like this gives me some preparation and confidence that I can do it 💪🏼 love it 💙

I love what you said about honoring yourself by starting a conversation and PPD, I didn’t know I had it until it was so bad I had to get hospitalized. I felt like a failure to my baby I loved soo much! PPD is real, scary and not talked about! Hormones do crazy things and it should make mom feel ashamed.

I’m so happy 😀 you’re doing so well! I had horrible postpartum. I wish I could have had women like you around when my boys were born so I could witness actual moms like you thriving & successfully navigating life with a new baby. 💕🌻

I had a baby 2.5 weeks ago, I started to feel sad/down, exhaustion and wacky hormones for sure, but then I remembered I had saved my placenta to have it put into capsules. Well, I started taking them about 3 days ago and I have noticed a difference. Just thought I would share. I

Be careful with Fabletics. They will charge you $50 a month. Thank you for talking about this. I had my last baby almost 13 years ago and so much has changed. There was definitely no one talking about all this stuff. Thank you for being real! 😘

Carlie I hope Shay apologizing to you and saying you were right circumcision is wrong helped If he didnt do that he was supposed to I found my soulmate and I am considering children with him I will have a csection because it's less painful and an at risky birth mostly because overall it seems better for the mother and baby to have a c section I know a lot of woman want to see what their bodies can do but after everything I lived through I font want to know what else my body can do or have me live through I will probably be watching this video if I have to deal with this problem I am very lucky to have a family that adopted me and will most likely help take care of my mutant/alien baby (I have blue eyes and a deformity so i am the mutant and he is a stereotypical space alien at least I was told) He was my best friend growing up but I never got to see him One person said I was made for him and the only person who hot to meet him I hope that being a mother is everything that you kayli and shaytards make it seem to be I am not totally sold on that because my dada has a friend who hated being a mom so much and regrets every second of it I dont want that to be the case for me I understand the moment I get preg I am going to be a mommy something since I was lateish teens never wanted to be I am hoping having a real family and seeing how happy youtuber moms are will help me make the right decision Chyna said something about having the babies to help stop climate change Well finding out more about round up if it doesnt become illegal and we dont plant more trees we are done for I have a rez near where I live and we need to plant trees there before the soil gets turned again If we cant do that we might be screwed it's the only thing to prevent round up from completely killing us It's also the main thing making me still hesitate on being a mom I also know having 2 children very close in age is very hard so that is something I will avoid if we decide to have more then one mutant/alien baby
