For getting the stripe with the magnet to stay clean, i found using a metal tin lid or something to stick one end of the magnet to while raising it off the counter a bit allows me to rest my nail under the magnet while it dries for a really clean line. Like those tiny spot cure gel lemps but a magnet instead!

I can not tell you how greatful I am to have come across your videos. I used to grow my own nails and they were always pretty nice,I was definitely lucky. But now that I've gotten older and don't eat like I should my nails don't grow and split. I never thought it was that simple, no I know it's not but I don't care if it takes the rest of my life on this earth I will learn to do my nails! I absolutely love square nails at medium length. Ok so I'm a guy and know little about nails. I am a quick learner though. As my mum got older and her hands got shaky I started painting her naturally long finger nails and would even give her a pedicure and do her toenails. She always liked to look her best. I learnt to fix breaks with fibreglass and then polygel. She has passed away and I miss her so much, she lived with me and she really enjoyed her nail time, a baileys on ice and a good natter, and I enjoyed it too. The look of amazement and happiness each time was priceless. ♥ Since her passing my girlfriend started asking me to do hers for her. At the time I didn't realise why, just thought she didn't feel up to it. Bless her, it's her therapy to me. She talks about my mum, her favourite nail colours etc amongst other things and knows how much it means to me as it was the very last thing I did for my mum for her funeral. The hospital had removed her polish, I couldn't let her go with stripped nails. Anyway sorry to yap on and on, I bought a set of cats eye magnet gel polished for my girlfriend and she just loves it. Using the magnet in different ways achieves different results, even bought different variations of magnet size and shape giving lots of design opportunities. They’re refillable but you do have to purchase the refill cartridges. You’re basically throwing out the same amount of waste as a cuticle pen but more convenient.

I really am impressed with these polishes. I just wish that they were gel polishes. I don't much time or patience with having to let my nails air dry. But, I may just bite the bullet and say screw it and just order these!😂🤩

I keep seeing that blue Cool Cat Mom, and I want it, but $15 for a bottle of nail polish is a bit too extravagant for my budget. I finally got myself 2 bottles of Madam Glam polishes, one of their Think Pink collection that also donated to breast cancer research (only $10 for a 15ml bottle!) and a lovely coffee-colored polish on sale for $7 (another 15 ml bottle!). If I'm gonna go for the fancy stuff, they need to offer better sales.
