To save your knife from blunting you can use the top side to scrape the chopping board instead of the sharp side 😃

I've been really paying attention to my hunger queues. Rarely really reached them before mostly following the starch solution / 50:50 plate. And now, more often than not, there will be a few bites of potatoes, veg etc left over. In the past I would eat them and feel stuffed. Now I honor my hunger queues and feel so much better. 😊

I do that a lot with the knife too....But the alternative is to flip the knife the other way and use the top/dull part to scape stuff off the cutting board, not the sharp side of the knife 😊

Beautiful family ❤ you're making me so hungry! Just made one of my favs, rice with black beans, pressed garlic, jalapeños and edamames and sliced grape tomatoes with a little cajun spice and hot sauce. I flip the knife, as not to dull it while pushing veg off cutting board. Tfs ❤u!

Chelsea, there is an alternative to scraping off the food from the cutting board with a knife. Its called a food scraper & I got mine from The Dollar Tree for $1.00, much less than my chef's knives😉 I just dont know if you have a Dollar Tree or any kind of deep discount store.

Turn the knife and "scrape" with the back side. I always do that because I don't want to make anything else dirty... And after years of struggling with my skin and products and leaving lots of money on Hypo-Allergic or Sensitive stuff I have the same face routine as you and it's the best...better than all the bought stuff 😇

oh, I am one of those who hardly ever weighs myself. I'm always curious why people step on the scale daily. Maybe I am in the minority. What are the positives to daily weighing?
@SpknTC13 Жыл бұрын
I weigh myself everyday because I like to look at the numbers. It helps keep me motivated. I'm also still in the weight loss side and not maintenance side of reaching my goal. Hope that helps!
@saiyaara555 Жыл бұрын
It helps me with my fitness goals, if I’m trying to gain muscle then I track to see how the number goes up, and ofc the opposite with losing fat
@ChelseaMae Жыл бұрын
There is SOOO much research about daily weighing as a phenomenal weight maintenance tool. It also helps you learn more about your bodies natural fluctuations without having an emotional connection to the number.
@Just...Peachy Жыл бұрын
I avoid the scale like the plague because I find it extremely frustrating when I have been eating really well and it doesn't budge. It makes me want to go binge because why bother trying? So, I go by how my clothes fit and measurements. That seems to keep me motivated.
@luluandmeow Жыл бұрын
I weight myself every day, I have learnt not to get into a bad mood if my weight goes up (sometimes for no reason). I think it's important because if weight keeps going up, I can nip it in the bud, I don't want it to fluctuate too much - it's too hard to lose it, easier to keep it in check.
