I just want to say, over the years I've always swayed between my love for meaty pizza and desperately trying to be vegan. I had some serous issues with my body recently and I have been eating only fruit and leafy greens for a short while now. I know my body is confused right now that I'm doing such a major change but I'm going to stick through this! I know I might fall down a few times but I mean it this time, I'm going to do it! I just want to say that over the years you have helped inspire me to do this. Thank you!

That’s awesome! Just make sure your body is still getting all the fibres and vitamins it needs! Fruits and veggies are awesome but they don’t always have everything we need! Just listen to your body and talk to your doctor!!

Why would pepper help? Fats help. You don't have to tell people to use black pepper. It's overused. People are putting it in everything! It's insane!

Ionela Fessler there’s a scientifically reason behind it in the way turmeric breaks down in our body. If you really want to make sure your body absorbs all the nutrients you have to intake it with fat yes like milk for example but black pepper is very important in helping absorption. If you want to know the details behind it just google it.

Know how to store them..carrots-keep in a Tupperware container unwashed with water in the fridge. Any greens and cucumbers-keep the unwashed in long Tupperware containers in the fridge with paper towels on the bottom before the greens are placed in the Tupperware and then on top of the greens before u keep the lid on. I had the same problem and learned these tricks and they last a lot longer!

Girl freeze them! You might not be craving therefore eating enough of them. You might not know how to make them tasty and worth craving but trust me that will change the more you eat them. Get creative and google seasonings and marinades for your veggies. Try mono-mealing too it feels so so so good to eat one food for one meal a day.

You should definitely make the video about the elixirs. I put Organic Turmeric power in teas I make, but recently my local grocery store has been stocking fresh turmeric root. As well as the rest of the foods you juiced as well. I use a masticating juicer. Though it takes longer in prep and actual juicing, compared to the centrifugal juicers I've used, it puts out much more liquid; as well as the pulp is basically dry. I'd like to know if you've ever tried or had one before and your thoughts about it. Side note Reishi mushrooms grow wild in my area. My hobby of mycology has taught me to spot things that have been right in front of my eyes yet never noticed. Chanterelles, Reishi and Morel fungi are some that are grow within just a few miles of my home.

Just so you know, "raw" is just a word. You don't have to make every decision based on a word. Tea is healthy, it helps extract the nutrients from herbs. It doesnt matter whether its classified as "raw" or not.

@rainbowdust9196 жыл бұрын
I agree. When you're raw vegan, it's totally different because you have to eat A LOT of produce everyday and it can cost a lot more than a standard vegan diet. I've done both. It costs me way more when I do raw, even with sales.
@rainbowdust9196 жыл бұрын
That's odd. Every omni I know spends way less on their diet than I did when I was eating raw. It's not anti vegan to acknowledge that it can be expensive.
@carlatenaglia6176 жыл бұрын
i bought most of my food for the week for less than 20 dollars. fruit and veggies are not as pricey as packaged vegan food like mac and cheese and mock meat and well vegan junk food. if you are buying those products yes it will be expensive but eating fruits and veggies are not that bad. and its no excuse not to go vegan! you can buy it according to budget day by day or three days at a time. I work at a food store market basket and i compare the prices to a standard american diet to fruit and veggies and 30 bucks is better than 200 or sometimes 400!
@rainbowdust9196 жыл бұрын
Yeah, per pound and per item, fruits and veggies are inexpensive. However, per calorie, they are not. If you are eating raw, you have to eat several pounds of fruits and vegetables everyday to meet your nutrient needs. You won't be eating just one peach. You'll be eating a whole tray of peaches. You won't be eating just an average sized salad. You'll be eating about 6 pounds of greens a day. It's great if you can afford it, but it is not affordable for everyone.

No she boiled the tea leaves. “Brewed the tea”. It isn’t raw tea if it is boiled. I personally think all this “raw vegan” stuff is over the top and extreme. But if you choose to label yourself and preach it so much at least do it right.

"Raw food" means raw FOOD. Tea is just a drink. Healthy drink indeed. And yeah, juices are made raw cause theyre treated as a meal.

I can't come back with that much in a month, let alone a day! I'm eating some cooked food because I have no choice. I had a spinach salad with red onion, cucumber, sea salt, parsley, dehydrated, ground, and zucchini noodles with olive oil and Braggs vinegar.
