When I was pregnant I couldn't eat meat and couldn't eat a lot of main meal foods. The smell of meat cooking made me vomit. My diet was pretty much only cereal, cookies, ice cream, pickles, cheese, toast and pasta. I did not have an big appetite. I actually lost weight during my pregnancy. I weighed the same at my first ever doctor's visit when I was 39 weeks pregnant.

Maria Fuentes hey not sure if this helps but I lost nearly ten pounds in my first trimester because I couldn’t eat and morning sickness was no joke. I didn’t gain anything until halfway through and even then it’s only been a few pounds. My doctor says the baby is healthy with a perfectly normal heartbeat, but if it worries you still, bring it up with your doctor and they will either tell you it’s fine or come up with a weight plan! Congrats on baby!!

Hey Hannah! I just wanted to say that if you are anemic and avoiding foods that inhibit iron absorption, I would stay away from teas and coffee as much as possible. They both contain tannin which can inhibit iron absorption. You can decrease tannins in teas by adding a wedge of lemon or a few table spoons of almond milk while the tea steeps, which allows the molecule to bind to proteins in the lemon/milk
