Anita, if you didn't know, black pepper is high oxalate, whereas white pepper is low to very low....although maybe you have another reason it doesn't agree with you.😊 And, yes, as much chicken as I used to eat, before Carnivore, chicken just doesn't do it for me anymore. I'll have the party wings with my beef, if I'm going to eat chicken. Oh, and we fed all of our dogs a raw diet. I only wish I had known in the very beginning when our oldest dog was a puppy, as I believe they would have lived a lot longer. Within two weeks it was amazing the results we saw. We watched as their coats changed from the tip of their noses, working it's way down to the tips of their tails. Any health issue they had disappeared. Especially when we got our rescued Papillion, when he was 4yo. He was so malnourished from the puppy mill where he came from that it took a solid year for his coat to look like a normal Papillion coat, but it finally happened! When I finally know where I'm planting myself, I'll adopt a rescue...and feeding raw is a must. Until then, I have my wild-caught Mustang mare, almost 18yo now, to love on.

What I eat in a day on carnivore...I'm doing my weekly sardine challenge until Thursday. Then it's blade chuck steak and 4 eggs OMAD with a daily 17-22 hour fast. I've been carnivore 499 days now and I am now pushing to get the last 40 pounds off. I have never counted macros and have shed over 100 pounds. It's time to push my metabolism. Great meals Anita. I have never seen ant liners like tou have for your Ninja. I have a Ninja and the liners would be nice. ❤

@@M21467 I have been doing the sardine challenge for 13 months, lion carnivore for 16 months. My eye sight has gone from 20/45 back to 20/20. I was just at my ophthalmologist office last week and that was confirmed. No joint pain. 2 years ago I seriously could not stand up or walk without severe pain and me screaming! Nearly all my skin tags are gone and at 72 I am kayaking the lakes and ocean regularly again. There are lots of other positive changes but remember I eat Lion version of carnivore the other 3 days a week and have now for 499 days. The 100 plus pound weight loss has been amazing and my skin is tightening up like I never expected. From size 26 to size 7 and looking forward to being much leaner in the next 2 months.

Thank you for this video!!! Blade steak or chuck steak in place of ribeye suits my budget much better. The part of the video that really amazed me was cutting it up and cooking it medium rare or rare. I'm 80 years old and Carnivore has helped so much but still have low back pain that keeps me from standing up over 5 minutes at a time. At least I'm cooking for myself now just have to keep sitting down. I have been buying kitchen items from Temu and they have 10" air fryer liners for 4.98 for 50. Hope this helps you. I have a Curtis Stone fryer with a large basket with highest temp of 400. Let's see if my steak gets crispy like yours. If not, I'll cook it frozen like I do my Ribeyes. I love your channel and your attitude. I had lapband surgery in 2005, lost 100 lbs and gained it all back. Nothing worked until I saw a Ken Berry video. I've only lost 45 lbs but have gone from a tight 3x to a 14. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for you and your colleagues for your time and effort in putting out the time consuming videos. Thanks for this! That bar you are eating is also called pemmican. It's surprisingly easy to make. I just made my own for the first time the other day. It's tasty! I like to have a bit of it with lunch and/or dinner. All you do is dehydrate some thin sliced beef, crush it up in a blender until it's like sawdust, and then pour in some melted tallow (or whatever fat you like). Then pour it into a mould or spread it out on a sheet and let it solidify in the fridge. Also, the reason you can only do white pepper may be because black pepper has oxalates.

@KetogenicWoman7 ай бұрын
You will have to test your airfryer! For thighs I do 20min at 400F and they are perfect. Wings would be less because they are smaller. Also frozen is going to take longer. If you choose a temp and a time and they are not done, just close the lid and cook longer, simple!

Do you account for the the bone if it is bone in?
@KetogenicWoman8 ай бұрын
yeah, I go by weight that is raw with bone in. It's never going to be bang on accurate and I've learned not to stress over the minutia. Some thighs will be 3 oz, 4 oz, 5oz, I just go by rough estimates so I don't lose my mind tracking.

I am trying to get off of my heartburn medicine after years of use. Where can I find more on that yoghurt?

Hi Anita, is this WYEIAD for weight loss or maintenance?
@KetogenicWoman8 ай бұрын
This is going to differ for each person of course! This day for me was eating at a maintainence level, To lose weight I need to eat a little less than my TDEE which is around 1850 and I stick to 60/40 Fat to Protein ratio.

You mentioned you cook the thighs with skin on. Do you eat the skin as well? To me, it tastes like rancid seed oil.
@KetogenicWoman5 ай бұрын
Hmmm, I love the thighs and the crispy skin. I just use salt, nothing else.

Could you share your all meat diet for Teddy?

I imagine it’s similar to what I feed my cats based on size! I have four dogs. What Anita preps for a week for her dogs is probably one meal for my dogs 🤣 Two are 130 lbs, one is 75 lbs and one is 45 lbs. They keep the coyotes away so they are valuable and deserving of their meat!! Sometimes I do wonder what I was thinking with all these dogs🤣

Right now they are eating mostly gr beef and chicken but I'll expand their selection as they get used to the meat.

Do you have a video on how to make that yogurt? I'd like to try that for my indigestion. I'm still on the protein pump inhibitors, and it isn't working too well anymore.
@KetogenicWoman8 ай бұрын
Yes I have where I make it in the sous vide and one with a yogurt maker. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5zMcpKhZ7uYm9E

Hi Anita im not understanding protien ratio someone should consume, oz to pounds help pls.
@KetogenicWoman8 ай бұрын
Ok, the problem is confusing protein macros with protein weight. I shoot for 150g Protein per day in MACROS. That works out to about 1.5 pounds of meat in a day very roughly.
@josk56738 ай бұрын
Just wondering, do you notice more heartburn when your eating the higher protein than when your eating 70 or 80% fat?
@KetogenicWoman8 ай бұрын
I haven't really tracked that and I think I should!
