Hi Kristi🙏❤️. I’m so sorry that you had that episode again. I do hope you check your phone all the time to make sure the update is always off cause it can just automatically turn back on and be ready to update. Also, I’m beginning to think that since this is the second episode right after Chris leaves that anxiety and stress brings it on and I’m also curious to know if right before you either lay down on the sofa and before you go to bed, do you check your numbers to make sure all is alright? If you don’t, I think it would be a great idea if you do so if you see that the numbers are beginning to drop then you can take care of the issue before it happens. You have to truly take care of yourself ok? You can’t always depend on the glucose monitor on your arm to always give you an alert. So, please keep a closet eye on your glucose and maybe you won’t have to have anymore episodes ok? Keep the faith and do what it takes for you to feel good and be normal while Chris is out of town ok? Hugs love and blessings to you always! Sue M. Clearwater, Florida ❤️🥰🙏👍🏻😘😺😺❌⭕️❌⭕️

Oh my gosh Kristi, I'm so sorry for what you went through. Is there another option, in addition to your phone, that could be set up to send alerts in case this, God forbid, were to happen again? Maybe a second phone? This had to be so overwhelming for you but you handled it really well from what you described. You kept your head, and did what you needed to do to get through it. After the dust settled, thinking about all the "what if this happened" scenarios is normal but can also a bit "crazy-making." Please don't do that to yourself, at least not for long, if you can help it. What is important is that you got through it. I'm so sorry about the Thrush, OMG, one more thing to take care of! I think you are amazing, and the way you are handling everything, especially those things that come out of nowhere. It is not easy, and please if you need to shed a few tears, it is completely understandable. Most of us would if in the same situation. Especially with Chris gone (for now), it is a lot to handle by yourself in the middle of the night. But you did it Kristi, you did it. And you are going to be fine going forward. It might help to keep a glass of orange juice next to your bed, and even more sugary sugary stuff in your nightstand, The sky's the limit. I'll be praying for you. I'll say it again, you are amazing. Sending lots of love from Las Vegas to you. -Karen

Hi Kristie! I appreciate your videos. I can understand all you go through. My sister has been a T1 diabetic for 33 years and my son 17 years. They both have been through what you experienced. My son has seizures when his goes low like that. Both of their Dexcoms are synced to someone’s phones so their numbers are shared to get alerts. It’s helped for sure but it’s not full proof. So my dad has used the glucagon shot on my sister a few times and we have a nasal spray that goes in our son’s nose to get his up quickly. It’s such a science. You can think you’ve done everything right and it still goes low because there are so many things that affect it. We’re definitely thankful for technology. Sounds like a movie day with rest for you. ❤ Take care

Hi there. I used to get the corner of the mouth breakouts but found it was a vitamin B deficiency. So when they feel like they might erupt, I start supplementing. I don't really know much about everything but a white tongue comes from candida. I don't know how, on your diet, you would get this but you might want to check it out. As a type 2 diabetic, I found that when I ate a complex carbohydrate before bed my sugar was okay through the night and in the morning it was much lower than previously. You're the opposite here but I think maybe if you can thing of something that has carbs in it but would take time to digest, it would give you the sugar you need at night. Diabetes is the most difficult to control disease there is, in my opinion. Good luck with figuring it out. I'm rooting for you!

Type twos also get thrush and yeast infections. A lot of type twos are diagnosed because of them. I was found unresponsive for the opposite reason, DKA, and septic shock from a kidney infection. My dexcom read high. I am so glad you woke up. I am sorry you have to deal with type one.

@@SouthernKristiI wonder what is going on with you. I know type one is totally crazy, with no rhyme or reason, but are you getting sick? I know illness usually means hyperglycemia and monitoring ketones, but your symptoms are weird. Is the Omni giving you too much insulin? I am insulin pens, so don’t know a lot about pumps.

Kristi. I am so glad you are better. I know from personal experience through my dad when I was a teenager. He was a type 1 also. My mother did not live with us and I found him on the floor in a coma several times. He carried jelly beans all the time too. It is so scary and treatment for diabetes is so much better now. I would be so angry with my phone provider and why the phone automatically updated in the night. Perhaps you should contact them and tell what happened. There may be another solution you are not aware of. I am sure Chris was upset that his first night away, this thing happened. It Has To be upsetting and scarey for you dear. It can be upsetting managing all these results trying to keep your body regulated. But keep it going. You are helping so many by your honesty and information. There are babies, children and others with the same diagnosis so you are not alone in your struggle. My two cousins had type 1 from childhood and their sons developed type 1 also. I can't offer anything but gratitude you are ok and tell you that you are managing it really so well. And that you are an inspiration to others. Take care. We are so fond of you. First and most important, I'm so glad you made it through the past 24 hours relatively unscathed. I can only imaging where your mind is taking you right now. Second, don't be embarrassed by having thrush. It's not actually that uncommon in adults. My husband got it while he was in the hospital being treated for a major infection. The antibiotics made him more susceptible to it. The nursing staff never even noticed. I had to point it out. Sending loving and healing thoughts your way. You are one of the good ones.

You might want to take a covid test. I got the same mouth symptoms when I received the COVID vaccine and then again with the booster shot. It was awful. Went to two doctors who ruled out thrust or burning mouth syndrome. Finally the dermatologist determined it could be a reaction to the COVID shots. That was 8 months ago. Now up to date, I just got over 10 days of covid and again here I am left with mouth and tongue issues. White and cracked tongue and my mouth is very sensitive to everything I eat. The previous mouth/tongue issues 8 months ago did take many weeks to finally get back to normal. Can’t believe this is happening again.
