Food hack: (if you have the time/space) spread the food out on a sheet pan (pepper slices, berries, etc) and freeze them till the surface moisture is frozen, then bag 'em up and put them back in the freezer. this prevents the frozen brick thing going on :)

My parents were brought up in rural(ish) iowa, and dinner was always in the middle of the day and supper was in the evening. I'm told that city people eat lunch at noon and dinner in the evening. But as times have changed, I think lunch and supper have pretty much take over and "dinner" is either a big celebratory meal or when you go out. At least that's how I teach my ESL students to go!

Love this kind of video! Growing up in NJ we always called the last meal of the day dinner. Here in northern Vermont most people call it supper. Back in the day, their biggest meal was at noontime or there about, and they called that dinner. Then what they ate at the end of the day was a lighter meal called supper. Nowadays out of habit or what their relatives had always called it, their last meal is supper. I hope that makes sense!

Great video! I’ve been wondering what to do with my frozen cherries lately. I’ll have to add it to my oatmeal next time. If you ever want to avoid dirtying extra pans, try making your oatmeal in a mason jar next time. You literally out the oatmeal in, pour the hot liquid, close the lid and a minute later you have hot oatmeal. It works with regular oats (doesn’t need to be fast cooking oats). Perfect on the Road!

I have been doing plant based for a few months now and love every aspect of it, but one thing I struggle with is how to organize a grocery list for the week. I end up buying a ton of vegetables with no thoughts on what to do with them, even though they look delicious to me, sometimes they end up going bad because I didn't have a plan for them. How can I make the most of my grocery shopping for the week without wasting any food?
