Hello guys! Thank you so much for visiting my channel ☺ In this video, I do tableware shopping for 2 days and I show you what I bought :) I think (hope) most of you will be interested in it but please skip the shopping part if you just want to see the cooking parts! Since I’m back in Tokyo, my videos have gotten like 25 minutes long 🤣 When I make videos, I feel like I take my friends around Tokyo ☺💓 I hope you enjoy the videos! Yuka

thank you Yuka for all the recipes (especially Omurice)! And when we have seen the Korean chicken recipe, we put it right away on the menu for this week 😁

I'm really enjoying seeing all these different bits of Tokyo. I would love to visit Japan but always thought Tokyo looked like such an 'urban jungle' with lots of huge buildings and intimidating spaces - but your videos are showing how many lovely, leafy, calmer areas there seem to be 😊

Yes you're right, but Tokyo is huge. I like calm and green places so I choose to go to those places 😆

Love your recipes video Yuka, but with this video you made me even more want to visit Japan. I really loved the alternate concept: recipe and vlog. Hope to see others in the future :)

I am definitely going to try the omurice and Korean fried chicken…they look good AND I have all of the ingredients to make them 🙂 I really like that you give history lessons while cooking your food and that you take us along when you shop. Tokyo looks so interesting and it is inspiring me to get out and explore my own town! I really like your recipes and am learning more and more about other cultural dishes. This video was a lot of fun to watch…and SO interesting!!

I made the Korean spicy chicken last night. Whenever I’ve eaten similar dishes, I’ve always wondered how the chicken was crunchy even with sauce. Now I know 😊 thank you for the recipe - it was really good!

I always watch your videos while I’m eating so as not to get too hungry 😅, but they give me many ideas of what to make for myself since I’m alone a lot, too, and my partner doesn’t have as adventurous taste as I do 😂. Beautiful editing and excellent music selection too 🫶🏼

I buy my Japanese stuffs in muji here in the Philippines. I buy plates, rice bowls, ramen bowls, something like that, but it's not that complete range of porcelain and kitchenware. So sometimes I buy from online direct from Japan or flea markets, porcelain from Japan. I like hasami and arita. Event if the main dish is Filipino food. I eat on a separate dish, the rice is on a rice bowl

I feel like you're giving us a tour of your city, and it's fascinating! I've made several of your meals, including the teriyaki salmon, and all 3 of your soups and they turned out great! I also made your vegetable miso stir-fry and kimchi rice. I would like to ask you if it's ok to substitute plant milk for cow's milk as I'm allergic to dairy? I'd like to try the omurice, but I obviously can't use dairy so cream and milk and butter are not okay for me. And although I love Japanese and Korean cooking, I've never tried Matcha! I can buy it here in Australia, I've just never tried it. You make it look so yummy and creamy! Thank you for the videos, I look forward to more!

Thank you so much ☺️💓 I'm really glad you liked the meals :) Yes, it's ok to use plant based milk/oil instead of normal milk/butter! Hope you will enjoy omurice too!

For the korean chicken, if you are lazy like me and don't want to heat the sauce and just dip the chicken instead... you can use honey and a bit of oil instead of sugar :'D The flavour is a little different, but it's still good.

Your videos are always so much fun to watch and very inspiring for cooking too. The tablewear stores and the bakery looked so good, lots of pretty things. I really liked your comment on spending time alone and it being a nice thing to do - too many peoole think it's a bad thing and miss out on time with just yourself. (✿◠‿◠)
