I appreciate both the fourth and the sixth variations, particularly the Mino-terminator. The sixth version, known as Mina-Shredder, truly stands out.

I tried the miso mayo cucumber and the stewed bell peppers. They were excellent, so much so that I polished them off all by myself. Next time I'll have to make double the recipe so the family can enjoy it, too.

Do you guys and girls have some tips for this recipe ? I made once and it was not as delicious as I thought it would be. I did not balance the amount of rice and ingredients and the flavors didn't mix well.

Beautiful side dishes I must try. I am guessing they didn't have enough side dishes where you were staying to serve all those on! What i always wonder is, how do Asian people wash all their side dishes!!!!

I prefer onigiri where the rice has been flavoured with soy sauce or furikake and then the entire rice ball is wrapped in a nori sheet. But panfried rice balls are really good too. Especially when they're filled with jackfruit salad (vegan tuna salad).

The seaweed is actually supposed to be the wrapper traditionally, no need for foil. Admittedly that is slick for selling them or getting them from vendors.
