KOREAN BEEF BOWLS
WHAT YOU NEED:
(Korean beef)
1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp minced ginger
2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp sriracha
2 tsp sesame oil
(Spicy mayo)
1/4 cup mayo
1 tbsp sriracha
1 tbsp lime juice
(Bowl) - amounts as desired
Steamed white rice
Kimchi
Avocado, sliced
Red cabbage, thinly sliced
Green onion, for garnish
WHAT TO DO:
1-Heat sesame oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring until fragrant. Add ground beef, breaking up with a spatula, and continuing to cook until no pink remains.
2-Stir in remaining beef ingredients until fully combined. Raise heat to a boil, then reduce to simmer. Letting simmer until sauce has thickened.
3-Combine ingredients for spicy mayo and set aside.
4-Once beef is ready, assemble bowls. Putting down a base of rice, then topping with beef, kimchi, avocado, red cabbage - then green onion and spicy mayo for garnish. Enjoy!
