HIGH PROTEIN COLESLAW
WHAT YOU NEED:
1 cup Greek yogurt
2-4 tbsp mayo
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp honey
2-4 cups coleslaw mix (or as needed to mix with sauce)
Shredded chicken, as desired
WHAT TO DO:
1-Blend all ingredients, except coleslaw mix.
2-Layer together coleslaw mix, shredded chicken, and sauce, then stir to combine.
-------------------------------
PUMPKIN MAC & CHEESE RECIPE (high protein)
amounts are approx as I don't normally measure
WHAT YOU NEED:
1 box chickpea pasta, cooked
1 lb ground beef, cooked
(Sauce)
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all purpose flour
2 cups milk (I use plain almond)
4-6 tbsp low fat cream cheese
1 cup pumpkin puree
Salt, as desired
Black pepper, as desired
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
2 cups chopped spinach
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (optional)
WHAT TO DO:
1-Add butter to a large pan over medium heat. Once melted, whisk in 1 tbsp flour and 1 cup milk. Once combined, whisk in remaining flour and milk. Continuing to whisk to get rid of any clumps.
2-Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to let simmer and thicken.
3-Once the sauce has thickened, stir in cream cheese until softened and fully combined.
4-Stir in pumpkin puree and spices. Adding shredded cheddar, as desired if you'd like a cheesier sauce.
5-Stir in chopped spinach and let simmer for another 5-10 min until spinach softened.
6-Combine cooked pasta, ground beef, sauce, and enjoy!

Girl!! Don’t creep around, run a noise maker and also, you have to make noise so she gets use to it. My family was so loud by the time my third was born I could vacuum under his swing while he was sleeping and he didn’t even crack open a wee eye! My first we had to live in silence!❤

Abby - I’m also a breast feeding mama and was having one of those days today when I wasn’t able to feed myself amidst all the baby needs. This was so helpful and refreshing to watch as a reminder that I’m not alone in feeling how hard this is!!!!!

You're doing so great. Don't be afraid of making noise around Bean. It's actually good, babies learn to sleep through noise which comes in really handy, especially if you decide to have more babies. Well done on the breastfeeding 👏

100%! I have 10 kids, and the noisier our house is, the better the babies sleep. If the house is silent, any little noise will wake them up. Just turn on a fan, washer, dryer, music, vacuum… all of the above haha! It makes a big difference 😊 also, I find that around 3 months is when they benefit from naps in their own room and not where you are. Best wishes!

@@katrinam2309 I absolutely agree with you 💯 I have five children and made the mistake of being quiet around the second. He then got separation anxiety and wouldn't sleep because he couldn't hear me. Noise is good! Oh and well done with ten children! Wow 👏 🙌

But noise isn't good for the sleep of adults. So why should it be good for babies? People that sleep at busy roads can sleep after getting accustomed to it. But studies show that their sleep is not as deep and they are therefore less rested.
@standup2982

@@johanna2690 we're not talking about shouting, just general background noise. Babies are not adults and sleep soundly with noise. I could vacuum next to mine when they were little and they wouldn't wake up.

@@standup2982 My boyfriend also sleeps like a rock even though he lives at a busy intersection. But studies show that you sleep better in a quiet environment. The quality of sleep is better. Yes, you get used to noise and can sleep through it. But that doesn't mean you really sleept well.

My oldest is 13, my youngest is 18 months and I am 3 months pregnant. When I had my second, my moto became “my version of productivity has changed”. It is still true 18 months in. You find those moments and take them when you can. A 15 minute workout or break to shower and brush your teeth can be the difference.

You have beyond bounced back, and I'm in AWE of you throughout all of this. All of it. You're incredible. I only hope that if I have kids of my own I can handle it with even HALF the grace that you have.

Will you be doing more videos about postpartum exercise? I’ve been struggling since giving birth to find exercises that work for me with how my abs were effected by my pregnancy. Genuine question here as a breastfeeding Mum currently feeding my 2nd baby. How do people become aware their supply has dropped? Is this when pumping? I have just always fed on demand and had both babies gaining weight really well so it never really crossed my mind I wouldn't have enough milk.

I feel the same way with the time. It takes a lot of time up and I have to stay up after baby goes to sleep to clean my house. He’s 4 months old and I thought it would be getting easier but just finding the time to get out and get walking is difficult.

i’m soooo beyond the bf era but i just want to encourage you. i was never able to get my supply to a level that was sufficient for my son and had to ultimately supplement. whatever you do, providing the little nourishment is what matters and he/she will be ok! my son is almost 17 and healthy and smart and also hilarious. he had formula from three months on. don’t beat yourself up and do your best to not stress as that obviously makes it more challenging. you’ve got this!

Those early breastfeeding months are so hard. Then it's difficult when they're teething. It gets so much better - different challenges at different points in time, but without-a-doubt worth it. Still going strong over here at 2.5 years and that bonding that we have a couple of times a day will be some of my favorite memories.

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭NIV‬ ROMANS 10:9-11 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame” Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭19:10‬ ‭ God wants us to believe in His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, who died for our sins :D When we truly believe in our hearts that Jesus is the Son of God, who died for our sins so we could have eternal life with God, we are saved from the eternal fire and have eternal life in Christ Jesus!! 💖 May God bless you all! ❤️😊
