when I feel under the weather, I force myself to deconnect from the online world and simply breathe. Taking a walk, cozying up under a blanket with a cup of hot chocolate and a nice book, or just listen to a playlist I like and allow myself to wind down and not be 'productive' :)

The cold seasons affect my mood really badly, so for anyone struggling as well, here are some nice things you can do to cheer up: • drinking warm mugs of hot chocolate, tea and coffee • christmas shopping • buying cozy sweater or scarf • movie nights with friends or family • playing the piano (or any instrument i guess) • baking cookies • reading • petting your pet • making a fire (if you have a hearth, don't burn off your house y'all)

Honestly I usually get down but I am loving it this year. I had covid and was in the hospital so I think I’m just feeling grateful for God for Jesus and my family and loving the holidays and excited to spend it with loved ones because I’m so blessed. I guess just like you said being present in the now this day is the only day we are promised not tomorrow so live well and if you pray, Pray lots lol it has given me so much peace and comfort and is my number one way to help my mood :) sending prayers and love!

My favorite thing to do especially when the weather is cold, is put on my PJs, make some hot tea and maybe put on my favorite TV show or nostalgic movie and do some art or bake. 🙂

tbh, I really started to fall in love with the cold season & here are some mood boosters of mine that I totally love: putting on my fave sweater, lighting candles, cuddling with my cat, reading, watching f•r•i•e•n•d•s, baking autumn/winter spiced desserts, cooking nourishing meals, taking some more time to sit with my family and just talk, taking naps, writing about what keeps me down and then finding a way to improve it, drinking hot tea... Seriously, once you've found your cozy stuff you just cannot wait for cozy season!! also - pinterest is such a mood booster when you look at things that inspire you and match your aesthetic preferences! And thank you jaz, I'm definitely going to add reading Harry Potter again to my winter bucket list! :)

I'm the total opposite to basically everyone, I THRIVE during fall and winter. My seasonal depression happens in the summer XD Things that I love about winter: reading a book next to the fire while drinking tea or coffee, baking every weekend, cooking cozy warm meals, SWEATERS, going for walks in the chill fresh air to come back in for a hot drink, watching the wind whip through the trees or snow falling like a dream, favorite time to explore coffee shops and book stores.

Jaz! Thank you for addressing season changes affecting moods even in Hawaii. I’m from O’ahu but now live in NYC and it can be hard. Definitely recommend hiking out to Ka’ena Point on the North Shore. It’s a long, flat path, but one of the most magical on the island, along the ocean. Love your videos!

I live in the UK from December until February at 4PM it's already pitch black, it's so depressing and this is really bad for my productivity. I really dislike autumn and winter because the rain has a big impact on my mood, I wish I could enjoy all seasons.

going to barnes and noble or a local library and finding a good book. spending so much time inside i try not to be on my phone as much as possible! social media can be enrgy draining and that is the last thing we need when its freezing outside.

I like making puzzles or playing board games with friends, apart from reading and watching movies. I also recommend Glühwein which is German Christmas wine with spices such as cinnamon.

I do have to say that 5 or 10 minutes in a tanning bed can make me feel so happy and upbeat during the winter. I never tan or use a tanning bed for tanning, just occasionally when I feel down in winter ❄️

I really like your videos but I really don’t think having a lot of fruit with your breakfast is the cause of inflammation.. you seem to be eating very low carb (having 0 calorie kelp noodles for lunch or a salad for dinner) 😔 why not have real noodles or grains or potatoes? please remember all macronutrients are essential and carbs are your brain’s preferred source of energy ! 🙏🏼
