$487 - I think you did so well considering you spent in USD, too. Video idea: a what-i-ate-in-a-day type video but a financial one. For instance, when you make a purchase, do you keep your receipts and enter them in your spreadsheets daily...or do you refer to your AMEX expenses on the app? Do you log at the end of the day...or the start of the day for the previous day's expenses? What sort of daily and weekly financial routines do you have that set you up for an easy monthly financial reset? Thanks! And hey, you're at 2.26k subscribers...woohoo!

Hi Gabby! Kind of a random question but I watched/listened to basically all your videos a couple weeks ago and (I think) you mentioned a face powder with spf? If I didn’t imagine this would you be able to name the product. Great video and I’ve been loving your channel ☺️

Hi Victoria! Yes you are correct, I have a sunscreen powder Ive mentioned! I like both the Colorscience Sunforgettable Powder (expensive) and the Supergoop Resetting powder!

can you share what you mean by topping up your oil and how it cost $10??? when i get an oil change (in the states) it’s about $170 😭😭😭
@GabbyPeterson177 ай бұрын
Hi Deanna!! Oh no not a full oil change! My car will ask me to put more oil in the car. It seems to burn through it quickly, so I just buy a small 2L of oil at a gas station and top it up! I’ll still need an oil change in a few months ☺️
@deannaalee7 ай бұрын
@@GabbyPeterson17 that’s so smart!! and probably very good for the car so i’ll have to start doing that 😂 thank you!!💕
@GabbyPeterson177 ай бұрын
@@deannaalee I’m not sure if every car needs this! Mine will specifically ask for it when it’s low. But I never did this for my previous vehicle.
@angelicabrewer37117 ай бұрын
Your oil changes are so expensive because you pay based on how kuch oil they put in. You need to top off after 700 or 1500 miles even if your car doesnt ask for it, test your level and put in a pint if its low. @@deannaalee
@angelicabrewer37117 ай бұрын
@@GabbyPeterson17some makes burn more oilthan others. Subaru over 70k miles start really burning and need top offs.

Tone: Year 1 Hermione You’re saying it wrong at 0:25 It’s AsteRISK not Asterix, but it’s a commonly mispronounced term! 😊

Hahahahah I am actually lol’ing 😂 I’m so bad with pronunciations and also with common phrases! I’ll mix them up all the time
@PokeBeans7 ай бұрын
@@GabbyPeterson17 I disagree, I think everything else you pronounce perfectly! 😊 I loved how you stayed transparent and honest for the sake of the challenge and goal you set. The zoom-in on “the next round” of beers being on David was a clever detail 😂 Though you did not spend this money, someone did 😜 Your reflections in the challenge really resonated with me and the struggle of deciding to live in the moment vs. making sacrifices now for the future you. I feel more obliged to prioritize securing my future rather than indulging today. It does feel good to save and invest, but it feels too depriving to cut to the extreme across the board. I’m still finding this balance-Ramit Sethi says to spend on what you love and cut mercilessly on things you don’t so I’m trying to channel that. It makes me wonder if there’s a metaphorical pimple patch of life that I’m delaying purchasing… just because I think the funds would be better invested (I’d be so annoyed if I finally got the thing at 65 years old and it was tinged with the regret of not getting it decades sooner) Awesome video 😊

@@PokeBeans oh thank you!! Haha my mom is from Chile so I grew up regularly pronouncing things the way she does haha 😂 like saying the L in salmon! Thank you so much! And what a nice comment. I’m glad you found my reflections on spending interesting and thought provoking! I regularly think on this! I seem to flip flop between feeling like I spend too much and I should invest more, and feeling like I invest plenty and life is short and I shouldn’t feel guilty 😂 Totally agree! We all need to find that middle ground where we’re able to enjoy our money today but also set ourselves up for tomorrow. And sometimes it will lean more to one side for a period of time and that’s okay too.
