Waddle dee has different color feet and has a slightly different base color, red Kirby originated in super star, and amazing mirror came out after Melee, which by then the alt had been in two smash games. The green alt's feet were green in the first 3 smash games, and wasn't changed until smash 4, which was the smash game that came out after super star ultra, so the plasma ability would make more sense. If your gonna make a claim like that, make sure you know what you're talking about.

Actually, it doesn’t. Dark Bowser has black hair and black eyes, and is a darker shade of blue. According to Smash 4’s tips area, the current blue alt references the fake Bowser in The Lost Levels.

I am surprised you didn't add the green bandanna Jigglypuff as a returning alt. It is an alt that remains exclusive to Melee but in my opinion it is the coolest alt the puff has ever been given and deserves to make a come-back. Bonus if they also bring back Crowned Jigglypuff's alt as well.

Back in Smash 4, the white Donkey Kong alt had a blue tie, which was a reference to Super Kong in Donkey Kong Country 3 and Donkey Kong Country Returns. If the player died 8 times in a row, Professor Chops will appear with a flag. If you press + on this flag, it will give you an option to use the Super Guide, at which point Super Kong will play the level and show you a perfect run.

The "King Dedede" alt for Kirby looks more like it's based on a Warp Start or Starman. I would argue a Dedede alt should have a bright blue for Kirby's main body (as opposed to the light blue alt) with either Dedede's Yellow feet or bright red feet to reference his coat.

I feel like everyone should have a legendary skin and a elite skin. the legendary skin can just be another color to unlock for the character but it would be more easy to get, for example it can just be just win 4 games in a row in elite smash. As a Kirby fan, I have some better alts for Kirby I think would fit really well: - Carbon color Kirby (From Amazing Mirror + Squeak Squad and my personal favorite Kirby color ever) - Hypernova Kirby (from Kirby Triple deluxe, there needs to be more modern Kirby representation in smash) - Shadow Kirby (based on his look from Kirby Fighters + Kirby fighters deluxe, bc his look from amazing mirror may be too similar to Gameboy era Kirby) - Brown Kirby (Sortof an obscure color from Kirby Air Ride, which was never seen again. I really like this color)

@@dont2671 Technically, that’s not true. The color in amazing mirror and squeak squad is “chocolate”, not brown. The colors of Kirby’s feet and body are swapped for the chocolate color scheme which separates it from brown Kirby. They look the same, but aren’t the same thing. But yea I agree, purple Kirby would make a nice addition too

I always thought it would be really cool to have the Mario’s characters don their sport outfits. For example: - Mario and Wario wear MARIO Strikers outfits - Peach wears her MARIO Golf outfit - Daisy wears her MARIO Basketball outfit - Luigi and Rosalina wear their Tennis outfits - or some variation of those. Maybe even with references to the new outfits in Mario Kart Tour and the Mario and Sonic olympics games. I would just love to see Rosalina get a few more outfits other than just re-colors.

Some of these are really good, and some of these are really bad. For instance: A SMB64 alt would be cool, but I don't think there is anyway to make it look good in this game. A Wario alt is kind of redundant considering how Wario is already in the game. I would prefer an ice mario/other mario power up look instead. -I don't think a Krool alt is needed since he is in the game. Maybe an alt based on another member of the dk crew instead like Dixie or someone. -The shield on the Midna Link looks super gaudy, which I don't think fits with the general feel of links alts. Maybe black and orange instead? I also think a look based on zeldas design would be kind of pointless since she's in the game (I'm sure you're seeing a trend). I think a Zora tunic alt would be much more appropriate, as it has been in many mainline games, and has many different designs to choose from. - I think the Mother Brain look could look good, but it would def need some detailing/other references (like somehow including the rainbow beam) to make it look decent. I don't think the Ridley alt is needed, and I think maybe a suit based on the Chozo or some other enemy/boss would be better. - All the Yoshi ones are great, and 100% appropriate. - I think a waddle/bandana Dee alt would be much better than a DDD alt. I also think the wispy woods one is just ugly. Green and brown is not a visually appealing combo. - The Fox ones are pretty good, I think I would just have a new render for the Leon alt to help make the reference a bit clearer and make the alt more unique. - I think the female gen four hat would be a better Pika alt than the male one. I just think its more memorable. The zekrom alt is not something that I like at all. The whole "black with red eyes" thing feels like its supposed to be edgy/cool, but it just looks tacky and childish. Instead I think an Ash alt makes a lot more sense. -All the Luigi alts are good. - Considering how a lot of Ness's designs have graphics on the shirts, I think putting some polka dots on the Paula alt would help clear up the reference. The Jeff and Poo alts are ok, but I think more could be done. The Gygas alt... is probably my least favorite alt out of all of them. Just give Ness a shirt with his dad on it, or a nice Tessie alt. - I think all of Falcons alts are fine, but I think a Black Knight alt is needed. - Instead of the gold/silver Jiggly, I would bring back the green headband Jiggly from Melee. It's classic and Iconic. TL;DR: I don't like alts based on characters already in the game/black ones with red eyes. I know this seems pretty negative, but keep in mind that I didn't mention the alts I did like! There were a lot of great alts that are needed in the game, these were just the ones I had issues with. I look forward to the next part!

Honestly, I've always said it would be cool if you could change to the versions of the characters from previous games -- i.e.: You can play as the 64 Smash characters with their blocky, polygon bodies as well as original sounds, you can play as their more fleshed out versions from Melee as well as their original sounds, etc, etc. I miss playing as TP Link lmao. I know it would be kinda difficult considering they would have to change some things (such as taunts, movesets, etc), but it's a pipe dream I'm willing to have

I feel like everyone should have a legendary skin and a elite skin. the legendary skin can just be another color to unlock for the character but it would be more easy to get, for example it can just be just win 4 games in a row in elite smash. The elite skin should be different form of the characters like DK with boxing gloves, Fox look from fox adventure or Shadow Mario from sunshine. While I appreciate the effort, and like many of the costumes suggested, I feel like the choices for Kirby were kinda meh. Slight changes in feet color aside, Kirby has roughly 19 different colors, as can be seen with Kirby: Squeak Squad's spray paints, so I feel like these would be more appropriate. Even so, when you suggested a Dedede-based color, Kirby already has one of those in Kirby: Planet Robobot; he has a blue body and orange feet, as opposed to the mostly pale yellow design. You also suggested a Whispy Woods-based on, but it doesn't look too appealing to me, and looks like the feet and body colors of Green Kirby were swapped; a Brown or Chocolate Kirby does exist, though, and could be used as an alt instead. As for the Jigglypuff and Marx ones, their differences seem much too minor; additionally, I'm not sure why the Jigglypuff one was blue feet, and the Marx one's feet conflicts with Kirby's symmetrical design. If we want more Pink colors, there's the Cherry spray paint. And while it may look similar to the maskless Meta Knight alt, an alt based on Shadow Kirby would be rather appropriate. Purple also would be a very appropriate color: it was used for Ninja in Kirby Super Star and Kirby Super Star Ultra, is an unlockable color in Kirby Air Ride, Grape and Lavender are spray paint colors in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror and Kirby: Squeak Squad that are both purple in color, Shadow Kirby's appearance in Kirby: Triple Deluxe and Kirby Fighters Deluxe is fairly purple, and Marx's color is also a bit purple, more prominently in some games than others (Kirby Mass Attack is a primary example of Marx being purple).

Out of all of the colors for Kirby I'd desperately want the carbon spray or mint spray to be used. Those two are both loved tons by people who have played those games and should definitely be in. Not only that but if we had to reference other characters for Kirby to have colors based on I'd absolutely love him to have a white and pink alt based on Susie from planet Robobot or a greyish purple and black for dark matter from 2, 3, and crystal shards! I could even go deeper down the rabbit hole and give him a daroach color scheme of red and grey or even something rarer like a miracle matter or grand doomer look!
