Maybe Jade Yulong? It makes sense in my mind as an homage to the Jade Dragon statues that they sell at Chinese shops being a pretty significant symbol in Chinese culture and all barring the Chinese influence in Dragon Zball it’d make sense.. A symbol of benevolence prosperity and renewal f life. Sums up how th3 EXACTLY opposite he is to canon Frieza. What if martial arts mattered? A scenario where weak characters can beat strong characters

Well power and skill matters, even if you're the best and most skilled martial artist in the Universe, you still can't even touch or hurt someone who's 100x more powerful. Even if they were 10x more powerful, all you'd do is be able to hit them probably, but your attacks would still do absolutely nothing. Martial Arts also mattered until the Cell games, did you not see Goku using all of his attacks and all of his skill?? The only reason why he didn't win was because Cell was more powerful than him. Goku's skill only managed to prolong his inevitable defeat against somebody even more skilled and stronger than himself. At that point in the series, they don't even use conventional martial arts anymore, they've already fused every single style into their own unique styles and already long since surpassed their limits of skill and those styles. It's also an inevitable thing that once characters become so powerful that they can destroy Universes and fight beings that can destroy Thousands of Universes, their skill doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of the fight.

Hit is a great example, he has a fighting style revolved around assassination that also INVOLVES his time skipping abilities. The perfect mix of superhuman martial arts mixed with ki techniques. Honestly, im surprised an anime like dragon ball doesn't expand more on this idea considering it literally has every thing needed already. I might make a video about this on another channel.

There are also superhuman fighting styles that can only be performed by super human people (basically, martial arts in baki for example). Hit is a great example, he has a fighting style revolved around assassination that also INVOLVES his time skipping abilities. The perfect mix of superhuman martial arts mixed with ki techniques. Honestly, im surprised an anime like dragon ball doesn't expand more on this idea considering it literally has every thing needed already. Now the next aspect, Techniques. The Z fighters seem to have strict code about copying each others fighting style (even though goku literally got most of his techniques from other people). But theres soooo many scenarios where one of them could have used a technique better or have learnt a technique that would've been useful. Imagine if everyone had the instant transmission. This especially applies to the humans, im so sick of them getting screwed over so hard when their clutch was right infront of them. Krillin could've learnt the buff form from master roshi, the dead x fighters could've learnt kaioken, goku could've brought them to yardrat, etc. The funny thing is, the humans are damn near or ARE universal level by the time of the tournament of power. I mean, krillin was kicking ass that required super saiyans to defeat. So yeah. This isn't even the best part, imagine the z fighters creating more of their own techniques and better yet, COMBINING. TECHNIQUES. Imagine the kienzan with the control of yamchas spirit ball, imagine the special beam cannon with the ability to bend like the bending kamehameha, imagine the multi form used in conjunction with instant transmission to create dozens of after images. This shit just makes me drool from thinking about it. Don't even get me started with yardrat healing plus kaioken 💀. So uhm, yeah. If the z fighters actually did these, their biq would skyrocket.
