One thing to keep in mind though is that he would also have a huge rage boost. Keep in mind that super Saiyan 2 Gohan was throwing hands with perfect cell which if we actually take the numbers shouldn't have been possible from just an 100 times multiplier but it's the rage boost that pushed them to that upper limit of allowing him to throw hands with it. I think the rage boost could be something you can consider

Why shouldn’t it be possible? Namek showed us a power level difference of around 12.5% (Vegeta and Dodoria) is one shot territory. PC could have been 20% stronger than SSJ Gohan and SSJ2 Gohan could have been 20% stronger than that and the exact same thing would have gone down. This is all a ripple effect from the old internet days with websites like Pojo that used to have Yardrat Goku like 10x his Namek self and the fans just bought into it because there were no official numbers. Also, SSJ2 WAS Gohans rage at the time. Grade 5 was all of his rage in a form and was supposed to be an exclusive form for him and yet is still a 100x multiplier.

You’re also only applying the multiplier. In a fit of rage gohans power surges much higher. He went over 1200 a year younger with zero training. So if we apply that rage percentage boost So from a power level of 3 to a power level of 1305, that’s a 44,400% increase. So if we apply that to the 981. That brings his power level to 426,435 if he got just as mad as when Raditz was beating on goku. Which if this moment triggered a ssj transformation I’d have to assume it did. So now we use the 50x multiplier that’s a total power level of 21,321,750. Mean while it would drop to your figure once he calmed down, in the heat of battle the great ape form would not help vegeta at all.

This is also assuming Nappa and Vegeta would even continue the fight after Gohan’s transformation. Sure, Gohan’s definitely coming after them, but they were already discussing what a hybrid Saiyan would be capable of even before they reached earth. Having the hybrid literally achieve the legendary transformation right before their eyes, and how fast Vegeta’s scouter would likely explode from trying to calculate it? I’d wager that they’d only continue in a defensive fashion, banking on inexperience causing Gohan to tire out before he could beat the both of them to death. … Not that that saves them.

Well, creating the artificial moon drained a good amount of Vegeta's energy and the ssj transformation can be boosted further by rage boosts and Gohan's power level was 3000 with a rage boost so an ambiguous amount lower than 180000 vs 150000 could actually be a pretty even fight. Not to mention Gohan could regrow his tail and become a golden oozaru though that might not be possible because iirc it is only shown briefly in anime filler and gt (so it has never been shown in cannon).

Okay keep in mind that he will also get a rage boost alongside super saiyan.His power when enraged was 2500-2800 during the Saiyan saga.If this multiplied by 50 his power level would be 125,000 or 140,000 which would still be weaker than oozaru Vegeta but you have to consider that for Vegeta to turn into an oozaru,he must create a power ball which reduce his base power.So this kinda make Ssj Gohan(Saiyan saga) = oozaru Vegeta(used power ball)

His training and maybe his age isn't enough for him have enough s-cells enough for that spike in energy to accelerate it's function to precipitate the iconic Saiyan mutation. He's full filled the conditions to live in a peaceful world as he has a peaceful childhood, albeit he's still a child, he train his body, though he recently started training, but this really meant to fight near death battles that push you higher or zenkai boosting fights which gohan clearly didn't have around this particular time in many successions, even if you count his head shot to Raditz or his exploded 🤯 power move on Frieza, he has that calm heart again though he's a kid at heart. If he continued with this training straight without interruptions, he very well may be able to attain super Saiyan transformation way before cell saga or android arc. Though this is a what if, more so based on the time period than actual fights. Still though only thing I can think of that could give this kind of boost is probably something similar to Granolah's dragon 🐲 ball wish, but tailored to get just enough future self energy and experience to activate super Saiyan transformation.
