It did get achieved without any cheating on the PS3 version of the game and another version, but Konami said they were "illegitimate" and when it was achieved nothing happened after the cutscene, there was no "Peace" titlecard or nothing which confirms it was rigged. There is no Chapter 3.

i don’t really consider Venom Snake to be big boss. You’re correct, venom is more loving and caring. Big boss is bad because he, as he puts it in MG2SS: “start wars, create victims, take them in, and turn them into soldiers.” he profits off of the war economy. he’s a warmonger who uses child soldiers and creates nuclear equipped walking battle tanks. Venom goes around disarming nukes, saving child soldiers and doing everything he can to make sure they don’t pick up another gun,

What I Believe: Chapter 3 was SUPPOSED to be unlocked w/ nuclear disarmament. That would give the studio time to release the game & finish it w/ a patch. Kojima and Konami parted ways. Konami TOOK his notes about Chapter 3 and made Metal Gear Survive from his notes w/o his permission. Hence “Survive” having a hidden meaning. The concept Survived. All the clues are there. The Motherbase soldiers. The dimension loading screen. Chico in the TGS trailer. He would’ve made Silent Hills and that would’ve armed him with the tools needed to implement his “horror” ideas into Chapter 3. “PEACE”… no. When you die you’re at peace. It would’ve been ironic titling. You achieve “peace”, the world is free of nukes. We realize it’s an alternate timeline, that the vortex opened up and Goodluck changed history. Hence why Sehalanthropus is more advanced than Rex. That’s the significance of the nuclear disarmament ending giving us the Obama quote. In THEIR 2008, there are no nukes. Now as far as Death Stranding, it’s clear that Norman Reedus is the stand-in for OLD SNAKE. This was his last mission - his post MGS4 story. So, honestly, you can see, the future is different. Seriously. I just learned that the gunfire you hear in the background before Venom Snake punches the mirror is gunfire from Solid Snake invading mother base. Apparently this was obvious? lol. A lot of people already knew this, but whatever. You gotta pay close attention and have a working memory of the lore from the NES games to catch it. When I found out, it got me all excited for a Metal Gear (NES) remake. That would be dope af if they did that. Especially after you got to play as Venom Snake in the previous game. It's crazy to think that you'd be playing the guy sent to kill him in the next, like that would be QUALITY story telling. Quality is an understatement actually, and quality storytelling is something the gaming industry is sorely lacking in these days.

@@MavisRecon I really hope they remake MG. When rumors started leaking of a MGS1 remake I was super disappointed. I don't want to go back to shadow Moses again. Id like to see an open world game in Africa where you gey dropped in with your two objectives locate outer heaven and eliminate Big Boss. You have to scour the land, find little outposts and patrols etc for gear and intel on where the base is located and how to navigate the map. And when you find Outer Heaven you have to find your own way to infiltrate. The base would also have various subterranean levels. Limited HUD and limited map information as well.

I’ve definitely had this same thought of the rest of the game unlocking after 9 years. If this happens I’m calling the Big Boss is Skullface too. I’ve always Fucking thought that and I know there’s tons of evidence for and against it. @PythonSelkan I figured it all out. And basically it's a total brain twister... MGSVTPP is a combination of a hallucination and a false memory combined. 1. Why does free roam was kill spots and mission boundaries? Because you can't enter a place in a memory that has never been remembered. 2. Huey and Miller both have inconsistent recalls of events. Huey mistook Snake as the one who wanted the nuke, but it was Miller who wanted the nuke. Miller knowing who Paz was really. 3. Why is it after you meet with Paz at any time, do all the soldiers on motherbase vanish without a trace? 4. The mammal pod was destroyed in Peace Walker. How would The Boss's A.I. still be around? If V had come to, why the Truth mission? Why the 2nd Chapter mission rehashes... Why the phantom nukes? Did we "forget" we had those nukes? Or were they not part of Snake's memory?

I think it was agreed decision. By 2015, Konami was impressed with low profile games, especially mobile games. Then Kojima bursts in, says "no more metal gears for the next 9 years", and they were not going to either because they wanted to make nobile games for eternity. Made up drama with Kojima's exodus. Kojima makes Death Stranding and other stuff, Konami mobile games and eFootball, but 9 years pass they join forces and Make MGSV: ULTRA DELUXE EDITION

Chapter 3 Peace could be we finally found peace in knowing the game is and always has been complete and not missing content. MGSV really is one big 4th wall break after another. Kojima really did something never done before alright. And its impressive. It would be so damn insane if Kojima and Konami have been playing us for 7 long years, even I thought this as such when Kojima's first solo company was still named Kojima Productions which struck me as odd since that's trademarked as a Konami company, especially to consider that we have gotten hints of Kojima to go BACK to his Silent Hill project that Konami shelved. If Konami really hated Kojima, then why were we getting these crazy hints from the man himself? While us Kojima/Konami fans possible could see the two would do something this crazy how about the rest of the world would think? The Blind Rage against Konami firing Kojima for these long 7 years would have been for nothing and possible legit rage could ensue?

there are secret nukes that have a timer that you have yo disarm in ground zeros, but they only appear AFTER you complete phantom pains 2nd chapter, you must also set you clock to 9 years earlier than the games release date.

OK guys this is my Siri right that what’s his guys name from the game awards? Kojima showed him that there’s five chapters without giving too much away. The fact that chapter 34 and five are missing I think that there’s gonna be five chapters. I think he wanted to parallel the nine year coma so he can do other projects come back to finish metal gear five with, chapter 34 and five and chapter 4 and five are going to be metal gear one and metal gear two leading metal gear solid one to bring the story full circle. You know a young solid snake, infiltrating outer heaven, killing venom snake and then metal gear two is where they send them back in to kill the real big boss, but he doesn’t because obviously and metal solid 4 he still alive. That would be the most amazing thing ever because I am the biggest metal gear solid fan

Analyzing my favorite creatives - Kojima and David Lynch (which Kojima is a fan) - I remember that Lynch said in one of his books that an IDEA it's like a piece of a puzzle, you should hold on to it and love it even if the rest of the puzzle it's in another room, and you don't have the key to it yet. That sometimes means creating loose ends, to connect later. Maybe these 9 years can also be some time to tie this (super highly complex) story, that is the MGS series. Btw, this video gave me hope. I really got emotional. Keep up the good work! I Love MGS.

It would be hard to pull this off since the “metal gear online” services are down, and have been for some time now. If the hidden chapter was locked behind the unified nuclear disarmament- it will now remain forever hidden because nobody can access the servers in order to disarm themselves. And if it’s to be patched in as an update, can they even do that? My PS3 always acts like I’m playing in offline mode, like I couldn’t get game patches if I wanted to. Kojima may have had a 9 year plan to hold the epilogue, but he couldn’t predict or prevent the mandatory obsolescence of Legacy systems as the console war arms race expands into wider terrain and leaves the old socom pistol in a Fox hole in favor of something bigger and better. And he couldn’t predict that they would shut down the servers and lock players out of their own games (or the FOB portions) meaning I can’t expand mother base and increase the staff roster beyond the default and gain access to higher level equipment. And he might have planned to pretend he was fired from Konami- but in that time it feels like he was ACTUALLY fired. And nobody could plan for their corporate chess games tbh

Metal gear truly does feel like a phantom pain to me too because 5 is the only 1 i played through myself because I'm 19 and didnt experience the old 1s so all my experiences with it after 5 are only these type of videos and play throughs so if this is really it then I have to accept such a great and iconic series that I missed out so much on and that there will probably be nothing like it after.

I'd like to believe this. But it seems too damn inconsistent, Kojima's firing, PT taken down, Silent Hills cancelled, a really awful Metal Gear sequel...Konami is not that cunning, clever or willing to lose money. Maybe it was a way to give Konami an olive branch to extend by Kojima, by playing along. Does wanna make me dust off my copy of Phantom Pain again.
