Arguably, you could say that she is actually an amazing anti-domain fighter, since a domain expansion is a part of the caster. Because of that she becomes a hard counter to using a domain expansion, as doing so essentially means you have created a much bigger target for her to hit.

I'd counter argue this idea because of one thing: domain expansion is stated to be an extension of the caster's innate cursed technique, so the domain isn't connected to the caster's soul. Thus, her nails wouldn't do anything. Only scenario I can see what you described happening is in an battle against an hypotetical DE for a blood technique user.

With what you said about Nobara "resonating" with her friends, I could see that definitely being expanded upon. For example, she could place a nail into herself and her allies, allowing for a variety of options, ranging from:splitting damage they take amongst themselves, sharing CE, and if Nobara learned RCT, then the ability to heal anyone at will, without losing too much energy because it's being pooled from multiple people. This could even be applied offensively, letting her steal energy from an enemy who has a nail in them, or shift damage onto them from herself and others. Speaking of Reversals, I'm pretty good at coming up with concise and precise ones, but her technique is a little more difficult to do. But, I've examined the most fundamental aspects of her technique: long range projection, explosions, and connection-forging. Her reversal is what I would title: Discordance. For the first part, I don't think she'd actually have to lose any long range capabilities, but instead I'm focusing on how it mostly keeps her away from the center of battle. But still, rather than projecting her cursed energy outwards, it could be more like pulling her (and maybe also other's)energy in. Let's say, for example, Choso shoots a piercing blood at Yuji. Nobara could pull the attack off course towards her or somewhere else where she's concentrated CE. With hairpin, rather than creating an explosion, it causes an implosion, think something like Gojo's blue, but with an added effect of possibly ripping away Cursed Energy. Lastly, the power to sever connections. This was probably the most difficult one for me to conceptualize, but here goes: perhaps, if she was connected to her enemy, she could then sever the "connections" between them, like "severing" someone's memory of her or someone else they're connected to. "Severing" their sight of her, "severing" space between them to pull them into close range? That one's crazy, but Cursed Technique talent is all about how much you can interpret about your own abilities. Addendum-Strawdoll. Yeah idk about this one lads. If y'all have any idea of how to reverse strawdoll, say it and I'll add it to the post. The most I can conceive is using it to heal or buff someone, but that's already covered by my earlier talk about her regular technique. Maybe it could allow her to "reconfigure" or alter someone's soul in some way? Idle transfiguration style? That sounds kinda lame to me. Just spitballing here honestly.

Damn I just realized I didn't really come up with a domain for her either, but I honestly don't know exactly what it would be. Maybe an all or nothing one where she creates a space full of strawdolls where her and her enemy hit the nails and damage eachother, and whoever either kills all the strawdolls or hits a critical one(like a strawdoll connected to the other's head)wins. Another one could be that the more damage someone has taken, the stronger they become. So if she opens a domain as a last ditch after getting her shit rocked, she gets a huge power boost inside of it. Essentially, whatever her Domain might end up being, it should be a game of chicken where the risk-reward ratio is always very high for her and her opponents.

For Cursed Technique Reversal Straw Doll 1)- Nobara instead of projecting her cursed energy towards the doll and in turn towards her target (To damage the target through resonance) she pulls in cursed energy from the doll and in turn pulls in the target's Cursed Energy. Also she can pin her allies so that instead of her they receive cursed energy from the opponent. 2)- Nobara's damage technique is reversed into a healing technique. Not only can she heal physical wounds but also wounds to the soul. She can also heal an exhausted CT just after a domain expansion ends. (Now The difference between her Cursed Technique Reversal (CTR) and normal RCT usage is that she needs way less amount of cursed energy to pull it off and she gets access to advanced RCT only previously used by the likes of Gojo and Sukuna.)

SPOILERS Mahto did specifically say that Sukuna could heal Junpei and his soul, but it's all dependent on efficiency and possibly a binding vow., just like with burn marks on Maki but she was healed easily by Shoko. And Nitta is going to stop her injuries from getting any worse in the next episode. And that's the last time we actually see her in the manga. And in the next arc it's just left an ambiguous answer for us to decipher, so this is all just hopeful conjecture.

Regarding Nobara having a Binding Vow, another possibility can be found through the inspiration for her technique, Ushi-no-Toki Mairi. Ushi-no-Toki Mairi (丑の刻参り/丑の時参り; Japanese for "Shrine Visit at the Hour of the Fox") is a Japanese cursing ritual that is trafitiobally conducted in the hour of the Ox, or between 1 AM and 3 AM. It was traditionally performed by women who had been scorned by their lovers/husbands and wanted to curse them as revenge. In order to perform the curse, the woman would dress in all white with disheveled hair, and wear a mirror like a necklace, a pair of geta sandals, and an inverted iron cooking stand on her head with three lit candles attached to its legs. Then, she would head to a shrine during the afformentioned hour and nail a straw doll into a shinboku (神木; Japanese for "Divine Tree") tree using a hammer, with the area that has been nailed being afflicted with injuries and/or illness. It was originally just a wish-granting ritual performed at the Kifune Shrine in the old capital of Kyoto. However, the legend of Hashihime caused to it recieve new connitations as a curse ritual. Basically, Hashihime was a beautiful noblewoman who was consumed by feelings of infatiation and jealosuy, causing her to make a wish to become an oni so she could get rid of her love rival. After 7 days, the deity of the Kifune Shrine instructed her to bathe in the waters of if the nearby Uji River for 37 days. After killing her live rival, Hashihime lived on beyond her natural lifespan before her arm was cut off by the Heian period samurai Watanabe-no-Tsuna, with the famous onmyouji (real life equivalent to jujutsu sorcerers from the Heian period) using his powers to seal away her power using the severed arm as a medium. There are two sorcerers who could serve as a baseline for further incorporation: Kento Nanami and Utahime Iori: Nanami is self-explanatory. His Overtime binding vow limits his cursed energy output between work hours, but he goes full power the moment the clock turns six and Nanami still hasn't clocked out. Something similar could be applied to Nobara's technique by limiting it to 80% efficiency and power but have it surge during the hour of the ox (1-3 AM). As for Utahime, it would be through fully restoring the ritualistic natire of her cursed technique. As Utahime maintains the requirement of singing, dancing, music, miko attire, bells and other ritual ornaments that would be seen in the kagura dances performed by miko at Japanese shrines, Nobara could improve her technique by incorporating the white clothes, mirrors, and candles into her technique to boost its efficiency in the same way as Utahime; depending on the environment she is fighting in, she could also use trees to further the potency. I think if Sukuna loses it will be because of Nobara. If I had to guess where she currently is I'd guess she went back to Tohoku area in the countryside to recover and get trained by her unnamed grandmother. If her grandmother has the same technique I'm sure she can help Nobara reach her potential and reach domain expansion. Her grandmother is probably a higher up or a former one who specialised in exorcising curses in the countryside.

Jujutsu tech is also a place which requires recommendation to get into. Nobara was recommended by her grandmother, someone who taught her the straw doll technique (but not to its entirety). In order for her grandma to have made such a request would suggest she was definitely a high grade sorcerer (probably grade 1) and her technique was a traditional one which the elders valued. So if she had the right guidance she could potentially also be a grade 1 maybe even semi S level. Only thing is her cursed technique for the most part is very reliant on essentially having a part of your opponent. If they never lose a limb or get hit, she can never use strawdoll technique to the fullest (unless she has a domain)

Something I believe gets overlooked is that Nobara fights Eso and Kechizu by using her own body infused with a part of them as an effigy. This means she can store two or more souls in her and create a link between them in her very own body at the same time. Limitless extension techniques could arrive from this.

Not sure if anyone prposed this before but what if Nobara could use a domain expansion remotely, instead of it being centered around herself it would be around a nail. Let's say Yuji if fighting someone and Nobara doesn't want to get close, then she fires a nail between yuji and his opponent pop up the domain and it would work like suggested in the video; probably in exchange for some same range on the domain

Jjk does subvert a lot of storytelling standards, but Nobara trying to understand the core of cursed energy just to fail would make her look very untalented. Gojo has understood cursed energy on the brink of death and healed fatal injuries (one of them to his head), so I don't think it's that far fetched to think Nobara could do that too. I would be super excited if she somehow appeared in a crucial moment of the culling games with new tricks up her sleeve, maybe even reverse cursed energy.

About her domain expansion, I like the idea of the damage reflection, the aesthetic of the domain ( chair room)and the "resonance" with her allies ,but I think that the damage should be reflected not just once but through the fight, only, the physical damages that she receives should reflect into SOUL DAMAGE . Like imagine someone entering the domain, they keep hitting Nobara, but each time they feel a little strange, but there's no wound on their bodies, so they continue hitting, they're damaging her so they think that they're going to win; then it cuts to the domain disappearing, the opponent seems completely fine, with no wound, but they fall on the ground; the body is just an empty husk ,their soul is gone.

Gege managed to trick everyone that he had a good female cast when all he did was pass the very low standard for Shonen female characters LOL. The moment people were praising JJK female characters, it reminded me of the same way people were praising MHA back in the day (Ochako esp) Like I am a big MHA meatrider but I can still see they are some faults in her writing and some characters in general (she's still my fav tho). Point is that it's just going to keep going like this. Shonen B would do something slightly better than it's predecessors and everyone would jerk it towards high heavens. In the same way people are criticizing MHA, Naruto in terms of their female leads/characters, it's now JJK's turn. It's going to be extra funny since videos talking about how good JJK women are will probably get a tone shift in the comments or the creators would have to remake it LOL. Either way, I'm here for it.

Something i find interesting is that, thanks to Gege's own words, we know that either 1 of the 4 main cast will die (Yuji, Megumi, Nobara, and Gojo) or 3 of the main cast will die. And currently we have 1 that is confirmed to be dead (whether you like it or not), and that is Gojo. Both Megumi and Nobara are in REALLY hot water on whether they survive or not, with the fandom questioning whether they are still alive in their respective conditions. This means that if 1 of them come back, then it is guaranteed that the other does. Otherwise both are just dead and everyone will be mad at Gege.

We don't talk about it much. The reason the construction technique is revered is because, as opposed to barriers, its creations stay around without a continuous flow of CE. A barrier can be anything, including a sword and, with the right conditions(limited charges, extended cooldowns, time of day/week restrictions, necessary preconditions, etc.), even a sword that extracts biomass with a cut. I wonder who that would be useful for?

I always imagined that nobara as a 1st grade sorcerer would use a combination of binding vows to turn her nails into high speed homing missles or control them remotely. As well as enhance her straw doll to technique to where she can have limited control over the target's actions, like freezing them in place.

I know I'm hella late to the party but I had a good idea for Nobara RCT: Dissonance. The ability would essentially make her unable to be harmed by someone who can't kill the soul and the body or for a less OP version, she takes a small item of herself (or someone else) and so long as the item is not harmed the user is essentially invulnerable.

One of Hakari's gimmick of regeneration would also be perfect for Nobara's domain if she ever manifests one. Imagine if her domain is filled with infinite cursed energy like Hakari's and it automatically connects her and her allies to the enemy for the sure hit effect. To compensate for the damage she must receive to activate resonance, her body rapidly heals itself as well.

In JJK you don’t become strong by working out, you either got lucky with a op CT and huge curse energy reserve or you’re an average sorcerer, she could train for years and she would still be at high grade 1 level since she doesn’t have an op CT. Giving her RCT would complete her kit. Since she's seen the "core" of CE it's possible she could learn it. Now when she uses her domain, after being brought to critically low hp, she can bring herself back to a healthier state to finish the job. It could also grant her access to a CTR version of her techniques. Perhaps her hairpin technique, instead of releasing CE, absorbs CE which can be used to strengthen the next hairpin or resonance. The CTR version could heal the targets soul rather than damage it. This could be used to heal allies at long range while expending less CE than RCT would. In her domain she could constantly heal her allies souls giving them a form of immortality similar to Mahito. Give her RCT as output and her hairpin and resonance abilities are oneshot techniques for cursed spirits.

I personally don't think Nobara ever had the potential to become a Special grade. Special grades are sorcerers are absolute monster that should be able take on a whole country by themselves, as kenjaku said. And i just don't think Nobara has that kind of potential. She is definitely talented and has the right mindset, but i think her technique lacks that little something that makes a special grade, a special grade. You know Yuta's copy paired with Rika, Hakari's infinite curse energy or Yuki's mass manipulation all have that little something. The right combination of Versatility, destructive power and lethality. And Nobara just doesn't have that. I just don't think she is fighting somebody like Geto, Yuta, Yuki or Hakari in a 1v1. At full potential i think Nobara could be at the very top of grade 1 on the edge of special grade, especially when paired with the right allies she could be a force on the battlefield, but by herself she is not fighting another special grade sorcerer.
