There was a time when the entire community would "handle business" in this way outside of the setting of a jail. I’ve spent the last 18 years of my life trying to teach my 2 sons not to repeat my mistakes and to think of consequences before they act. The thing about in my life that I’m proudest of is that they’re both solid citizens. They aren’t me at that age. Oldest starts college in a few weeks and the younger is being recruited by colleges already to play ball. Good people fuck up and make mistakes. I read a book about serial killer Jerry Brudos. When he was convicted, he was housed on the first floor of the prison he was sent to, as were all sex offenders. The reason was that SOs housed on higher floors were known to have "accidents". Ya know, someone "accidentally" would grab him and throw him over the rail.

When I first got brought into prison before they sent me to my normal spot they had to send me to a different spot to get my intake and I was down state for this and they put some random dude in my damn cell guy seemed okay at first but as soon as he didn't want to show his paperwork I figured something was up later that day at chow me and a couple of people stuck this dude up because turns out he was in there for beating his wife and children so bad that one of his kids almost died I had no idea until somebody brought it up and said bro you're living with a chomo he beats and rapes children and women and I was just like now we ain't going to have this what are we going to do I can't have him in my cell then and they're all like attack him or be attacked as soon as I got up another person followed me and then another four people including myself ended up sticking this dude up right in the chow hall not caring baby rapists women beaters all that s*** we do not f*** with any of that

@JD Delay: I just want to say: Thank you for making this video. Too often, it feels like nobody gives two shits about victims of SA, "grape," or child molestation. Yet, it is ironic of what you talk about in this video -- how there are rules for inmates and convicts, and etiquette, of all things. But what I want to say is, all it takes for shit to happen is tolerance. To tolerate the people and what they do, when they think nobody will stop them from hurting an innocent like a child. I would rather be judged by 12, and go to prison, knowing I protected my little nieces and nephews from a monster, than I would ever be able to stand idly by, knowing that they could be hurt, because I did nothing to stop it. a friend/co worker told me this one mexican guy told her that he and three other adult men ran a train on a 11yr girl. I have to see this chomo at work every day and can't do a thing about it cus he admitted he and his buddies got away with it in mexico and were in the U.S. so there's no proof. At 1st I was angry and disgusted. I don't want anything to do with the weirdo cus he seems to have issues with respecting women by getting to close to them when talking. So most likely he's not changed. I steer clear but always keep a lookout. And I hope that maybe one day he will repent.... but ya I don't see that happenin let's be real. These guys/women who hurt children have ZERO BUSINESS being ANYWHERE NEAR ANY CHILD. EVER. PERIOD. I don't care if they say they changed or they've been "cleared." Trust shouldn't be given to someone who doesn't even know the meaning of the word.
