Thank you for making this video Dr Price! I quit eating sugar 13 years ago and I was overweight, had cystic acne, eczema all over my body, horrible migraines and many more health issues. I was also pre-diabetic and fainting back in 2010. Since giving up sugar and going raw EVERY single one of my health issues have gone away and I have lost 60lbs! He is 1000000% telling the truth!!!!

No sugar for me I am 167 pounds down it has not been a easy journey however I try to stay away from bread, sugar, flour and wheat. I have lost over 9 dress sizes. Dr. Price has opened my eyes and provided me with information that my doctors would have ever told me. Thank you soooooo for helping me to live my best life!

Going on week two and I must say I had the headaches and nausea for approx 3 days. What's helping me get through is I also make a conscious decision to remind myself my body is God's temple and I want to feel good overall.

I will be starting today! I am 60 years old and I lost 40+ lbs within 5 months and reversed my pre-diabetes, at the age of 58. I walk every day and I was doing strength training 3 days a week. I do a lot of intermittent fasting and a 3 day fast, once a month. I ate very healthy for a whole year. Every thing you said is exactly true. I was not eating processed foods, starches or sugar. When I started back eating some of them, all of the things you said happens from consuming them, happened. I’m glad I saw this video, because I just wrote in my journal, that I was going to detox and go back to eliminating sugar, etc. I eat those things, in moderation and I feel and see the negative impact it had on my body. Thank you for the inspiration and confirmation!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I have had similar experience as you. I had started keto earlier in the year and had lost weight, had energy and my skin was glowing. Ive gone back to some old ways and have gained weight and feel sluggish. Im all onboard to staying healthy and active.

Sweet and creamy coffee, or as my mother used to say, coffee with my sugar, is my biggest addiction. My numbers for sugar and cholesterol are borderline and I am pre-diabetic. They are genetic factors along with mobility issues involving my back, knees, and feet. I've told my doctor that I don't want to be medicated for these issues. As a physician, she didn't or couldn't endorse a detox plan, but she strongly recommended increased cardio and reducing fats and carbs. My friend is really onboard with Dr. Bobby's plan. She loves it and says that I should give it a try.

Anytime I cut out processed sugars my fatigue INSTANTLY improves. I do have fruits still and still enjoyed the benefits of no processed sugars. I’m on day 15

@@adetolaayodele3425 FYI, brown sugar seems healthy but C&H and most brown sugars are just white sugar with molasses added for the color. It's not necessarily healthier, just more delicious.

I periodically challenge myself by giving up somethings for better health...so far I quit smoking, stopped eating pork and beef, added more veggies, and stopped drinking sodas. I was taking 6 diff medications and I am down to 3. This all was over a period of 3 years. I'm too comfortable with my health, so I'm adding another challenge. I'm eliminating the added sugars. Today I cleaned out my frig, caninets, and pantry and donated the unopened items. I didn't realize how much of what we consume has sugar😮. Anyway, Monday (8/19/24) will be my Day 1. Glad I came across this video.

@@Iydsnga it was going well until Labor Day. Eleven days in and someone served me coleslaw with sugar. ☹️ But once they told me they added the sugar, I threw it out. I picked back up my detox on today... Tuesday. I will continue my journey for another 30 days.😊

I’m starting my detox today. I don’t eat meat, fish, or dairy but I don’t consider myself as a vegan or any other label. I eat/drink organic, all natural fruits, vegetables, and a real spring water straight from a spring. The only think I haven’t done is a detox cleanse to remove parasites and worms. I watch you, yahki awakened, and daddy butter and you three black men are making a big difference in the community. So thank you for your time and knowledge!

@RGVB11 We use to have a running spring where you could fill your bottles on the side of the road. You know they've shut it down. A whole natural spring that No one can benefit from.

Im now Carnivore and Im off all 3 B.P. meds & my a1c is 4.8 not type 2 diabetic anymore my Psoriasis & ezcema is totally gone no more aches and pain gone I feel 30 again and Im 62 yrs old I also notice glowing skin, lost 30 lbs and better muscle tone Im still Amazed🎉❤🙆🏾‍♀️

Thank you for this information. I’ve been eating meat sparingly most of my life because I just don’t like it as much. Yet I’m in love with sugar and starches. I needed this information! Once I cut out dairy products my eczema cleared up and my lupus flares stopped. Yet now after losing 20 pounds with a change of diet and exercise, I want to do more. I was doing good, no meat, plant based for 2 months- then my husband asked me to bake him some oatmeal raisen cookies and to use REAL sugar and real ingredients. Now im eating these cookies that have eggs and and a cup of sugar. I noticed my skin had cleared up but after a day of eati g just two cookies i got a huge pimple on the side of my cheek like never before! If he dont hurry up and eat these cookies 😢

The two detox teas really kill all my cravings. I end up eating first meal around 2pm. I start 1st detox tea about 9am. Then finish the 2nd tea by 1pm. Then drink water for an hour before eating at 2pm.

My energy has been through the roof, my skin is beautiful especially at the age of 54 yr., my sex life has truly elevated, my knowledge, thinking, and mind is on point. My blood works that I get done every 6 months has been great, the numbers are great and most of all, I was diagnosed with hypertension, my blood pressure has been normal, sometimes better than normal, I don't consume a blood pressure tablet everyday, so, I just want to say, thank you!!!❤️

I am 66 y/o and sugar has been my drug of choice as long as I can remember. Even as a child, we seldom had a meal that didn't include dessert. I'm currently on Day 12/28 and has been strict with my eating thus far. I'm down 10lbs and have had an increase in clarity and overall feel great! I've noticed that when I go by ny favorite restaurants, my mouth doesn't water or crave it any longer. I can definitely tell that it's curbed my taste buds. I've been eating mostly raw fruits and veggies but roasting veggies maybe twice a week for dinner. I'm looking forward to what Day 28 and beyond will bring me!!!

Amen Dr. , yesterday I journaled how I didn’t order a banana split when we took the kids for ice cream and then afterwards I tried to eat a garlic knot but I chewed it and spit it out. The taste for sugar is no longer there. I choose to rather eat food that comes from the earth God gave us.

Dr. Price, I am a 71 year old black male in general good health. 2.5 mos. Ago I started to lose a lot of weight. I recently started to consume olive oil so I thought those 2 things were related. Apparently they are not. I have a colonoscopy next week. My doctor has not said anything, but I believe it is colon cancer. 3 years I had polyps removed. A while ago I thought I was developing arthritis. One day I didn't have any sugar and the next day I noticed I wasn't in pain . A light bulb went off in my head like maybe it's the sugar causing me to hurt. It was. Feel much better. I pick and choose WHAT sugary things I eat now. Lol

My appetite has definitely decreased to the point I don't drink much water either, which I know isn't good. So I find myself trying to get my water in late in the day, knowing I'm going to wake up in the middle of the night; something I don't need due to having insomnia. Nevertheless, I'm not quitting just making adjustments as I continue my journey to cellular health and regain my fit2fight (Air Force) bodily strength. Peace and Blessings Fam!

What about natural sweetners? I hav been using Stevia, Aguave, and coconut palm sugar instead of the granulated white sugar. For instance I stopped using coffee creamer such as Hazelnut or 26:23 26:23 26:23 26:23 26:23

It's ridiculous how addictive sugar is I use to be able to quit for a week and eat cookies/donuts on a cheat day but I now find myself ending up with sugar in my hand at times I told myself to stop. If you're gonna stop do it completely im beginning to realize just how dangerous sugar really is especially to those vulnerable.

There are three(3) types or kinds of sugars. 1) Natural Sugars. 2) Man Made Sugars. 3) A Combination of Natural Sugars and Man Made Sugars. 4) Man Made Sugars are basically chemical poison. 5) I believe that cinnamon is the best substitute for sugars. 6) I believe that man made sugars causes cancer. 7) Google, 75 different names for sugars. -Love you all and take care.

However, over-consumption of sugar, particularly added sugars in processed beverages and foods can contribute to obesity which is an important risk factor for cancer. In so many words, sugar causes cancer. Yet, big sugar companies will not admit so, in my opinion.

Yes I just heard of Type 3 in my class on aging last semester. Associating our poor diets with Alzheimer's, frightening. Sounds like added sugar is the devil.

Does high sugar intake contribute to moles and skin darkining around the neck and face?

I've never learned that it causes moles, but skin darkening is a tell-tale sign. It's called acanthosis nigricans and is a visual indicator of diabetes risk. Pediatricians and school nurses regularly use its presence to identify high-risk children.

I am in that group that gain not just weight, but a significant amount of excess weight. It took me forever to lose the weight in the pass, keep it off, it took only 1 year to gain most of it back. This information is going to help me drop this weight one more time and for good, no matter what transpires in the universe.

Suggest getting the 14 day detox. The herb teas really changed my cravings and taste buds. A lot of my restaurant favorites don't taste good anymore. I get the 28 day detox then share the 2nd pack with someone. So we can do 14 days together.

I did a strict no sugar at all (not 1 apple) for 4 weeks just to test my discipline. I did it again for a 1 week recently. The main thing I notice is 1. Its truly a drug, withdrawal is real. 2. Face then body slims down 3. My clear skin starts to get spots, I believe this is due to my body starting to use alternative fuel stores in the body and getting rid of toxins. Warning do not have alcohol soon after reintroducting sugar (if you decided to) It's likely your body will treat it like food poisoning and reject it 🤮. I learnt that the hard way at a wine tasting. I need to figure out what helps with the break outs as I don't usually have those issues. Edit: I forgot to mention it also stopped my foot cramps. I even tried to force a cramp when I reslised and a couldn't induce it.

Breakouts: pushing out toxins through the skin. Non chemical soaps, cleaners, detergents and hair products help greatly. Comfrey and calendula are great for the skin topically. Brew like tea and strain. Wash/use as toner on face. Keep in fridge covered and always opt for organic. Should last up to 5 days or so. Smell to make sure. Just some thoughts from an herbalist / health enthusiast. That is all. Good job though. Keep up the good work. Fruit is good just try to stay away from dates if possible or at least not a ton.

It's not so much about the food as to what they are doing to it while they are growing it and raising them. They have gotten worse with it these last 10 years. Can't eat anything today not even in moderation. I feel bad for the young generations they are born in the greatest time coming and the worse time now. Hello Dr. Bobby., your detox is a game changer. It did everything you said it would do. I am going to do it again. You should create a detox vitamin. Thanks again for the love. 👏👏👍😊🥰🍉

the best alternative for added sugar(and other sweetners) is date sugar. It is literally just dates baked and grounded into powder.

I tried many times to get rid of sugar and eat plant based but my taste buds didn't agree. But while doing your detox,I noticed I was tasting variety of flavours from fruits and vegetables and after 28 days on the detox I am now plant based full time with no problems or cravings for sugar.

Really it's only common sense to know what's natural is levels above meat, starch and dairy. Look at a package of meat and then go look at the produce section with the fruit and you decide.

Dr.Price, I'm new to your content, now all this time none of my doctors ever told me that sugar could effect my blood pressure. I'm going to try this challenge. Now how do I get your product that will get rid of the parasite and yeast out of my body? Help me out because this is probably why I can't control my BP with these medications they keep changing. Great info you putting out there may GOD keep his protection around you because I know there's a lot of people that don't want this knowledge spreading around. GOD bless you man!

Wow wake up call for sure… I am going to have to give up a lot. Cold turkey is pretty harsh. Are you sure I can’t just ween myself. Baby steps.??? When I quit smoking 25 years ago it took a few months, but i did it gradually because I felt like the nicotine level was so powerful the craving wouldn’t let go? Is it the same with sugar?

Well, watching them melt away within 48 hours felt so good, and yes, I used what I mentioned the other day. It actually took a bit more to make them totally disappear, I just go’ogled Melissa Thanderski and the pain unexpectedly disappeared so quickly.

With all due respect to you Mr. Price, But I find it impossible Not to consume any sugar at all. Everything that we eat is either tampered with, it’s processed and now practically Everything has sugar and added sugars. The detox may Help for a time, but the cycle Will eventually continue.

Dr Bobby Price is right. Sugar prevents the body from functioning and healing properly…eventually. Cutting out sugar, diet change(and his detox) it helped eczema go away and my skin tightened back to normal again. I still am flabbergasted at how my skin healed up after all the issues I was having😅. Other than honey and agave nectar(barely even eat that) I look to avoid added sugar in any food😂😂.
