I haven't done it 100%, but I've made some huge progress with my parents. Start by replicating their favorite dishes and cook for or with them. For example, my mom loves Indian curry so I made a chickpea & potato curry for her. My stepdad loves sheppards pie, so I looked up a vegan version and made it for him. He's a huge "breakfast sausage" guy, so now I got him on Field Roast (homemade seitan is a good cheap alternative to this). If you need any tips, feel free to reach out! Itsunclegabby@gmail.com You can do this! Be the light to light their path!

Pesticide from wide range of water irrigation
@JoanKSX
@JoanKSX 7 жыл бұрын
I meant, for massive commercial plantation, pesticides has mercury something like that, the waste from electronic factory (those create your smartphone and other IT gadget) etc. and water irrigation and water sewage system etc. flush or flow the thing and gradually to the pool, sea. The thing (mercury) is in the sea water and fish live in it and voila how long the fish live? Every sec breathing in and out and gulping the mercury water? Tada, you meal mercury fish. Congratz

It's just the same way as the super bug cause by multiple antibiotic resistant buggy (Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus) due to too many antibiotic taken throughout long period and the germs gets smarter and they have rights to live, in fact they struggle to stay alive, mutate and voila human suffer. It's not so-called bad germs' fault to have get stronger, it's you whinning too much for tiny bits of discomfort and totally lazy-ed your immune system by over-pamper them with ready-to-destroy-ya,-germs antibiotics

Good for you if you had the luck of knowing good info at a young age! Both sides of my family have metabolic deseases and I learned in school that dairy products and cereals are supper good for me. Now at 35 and overweight I had to unlearn a lot of bad habits. I started my journey on lowcarb and keto diet and lost 30 pounds but I know now I have to go plant based. You can have dozens of "experts" for wvery diet under the sun and anecdoctal succes stories for each. When you get out of standart american diet where do you go? It takes time to learn not everybody knows what you know or have fallen upon balanced information. Get off your high horse and meet people where they are if they ask you a simple question.

You can’t be vegan and be picky. It’s just not compatible. You better learn to like foods that you never liked before or you’re going to starve. You can train your mind to like foods that you never liked. I never enjoyed tomatoes, onions, or spinach. But I tell you what, I eat them every single day and I love them now. I don’t see it as food, I look at them as nutrients.

*Sadly, I think dr. Klapper failed here.* In the first 60 seconds of this video he said WFPB is _"the same diet we're eating now without the meat, Dairy, eggs, hydrogenated oils, sugars..."_ ... For most Americans, not really. Then he said the diet is based on _"colorful salads, hearty lentil stew and bean burritos, and fruit and soup"_ ... When average people here that they are going to hear "soup and salad and fruit" ! Major, Major misfire on the first 60 seconds. Sound bites are so important. I might have to weigh in on this.

My room mate is on the Adkins diet and I wanted to see how perceptive he was, This morning he was in a hurry and left for work and did not flush the toilet, As you know the Standard American Diet (SAD) is loaded with fat, sugar and salt which equates to great taste. So I put him to the test. I removed the turd and smothered it with lots of butter, a cup of sugar, and a touch of salt. I mixed it thoroughly and threw out a package of his hamburger and replaced it with the turdburger. He came home tonight and sure enough he made a "hamburger" and mentioned later that it tasted great. Do you think I should tell him why it tasted so good?

For those wanting or needing to lose weight, they should avoid processed oils. If you don't need to lose weight then plant based oils are ok, but eat only unprocessed sources such as whole olives, nuts, or avocados.

All oils that come in a bottle are processed. If you want olive oil, eat olives, you want coconut oil, eat coconuts. Tough to hear I know as I used to nearly drink it. Now this works cos if you silly enough to consume canola oil there is no way in hell you are going to eat rapeseed.

I guess we can remove stoves, ovens, microwaves and grill if you want to go on a whole food plant diet. heck why do need tables sand chairs we can just eat on the floor. heck even sleeping on the floor is better than the bed for your body posture so let's just dump the furniture industry. ww don't need to take down trees, we can live in a nice small shack and still be able to get around.

+SHIVAM PATEL Did I say that I don't? I didn't. What I said what that an individual is free to exercise his rights to make personal choices. Obviously, destroying the environment isn't a personal choice, since others are involved indirectly. The whole point of the video was to promote healthy eating. If someone wants to be vegan and feast on junk food, that is his personal choice. We are adults and we make informed decisions.
