This 3D medical animation explains the functioning of the extrinsic and intrinsic apoptotic pathways. We start off by taking a look at the important role apoptosis plays in growth and development as well as removing DNA damaged cells. Then we see how activation of the caspase cascade occurs in each external and internal signalling pathway. Lastly we get a glimpse of cancer cells and their ability to block apoptosis.

Fascinating! I just can't stop watching various videos about cellular machinery. Unbelievable, how complex and beautiful it is all created by nature thru countless cycles of evolution...

@sergey F nature cannot do this by itself. There is always a maker who does it. God does not know what God is. How can nature do this? Can you leave board, iron and some wires and put them on the sand? Can nature make you a ship like this or a plane or a car? No it needs a maker ,and so does the cell ,its maker . He is the Lord of the worlds and the creator of everything,Glory be to Him سبحانك اللهم 🙏

@@hassaineimene5965 Imagine seeing something as complex and precise and finley tuned and purposed. Yet they claim that it was caused through randomness and time... As if these organelles and molecules keep records of lab notes.
