Settling into the moment of now and breathing in the calm and detached discernment of what's surrounding me/ us, it's not easy and discipline is required. This reminds me of what the Australian Aboriginal's mean of dreamtime, the collective dreamtime for us all to dream/breathe a new dreamtime.

I feel like what you describe started happening to me months ago. For months prior to the dominos falling down in the world around me, I had been experiencing fear/ terror and a feeling of isolation. I am in recovery, and have been on a haling path for years. No amount of inventory seemed to assuage the fear, no amount of prayer or meditation seemed to penetrate my chronic negativity. Yet when all of this stuff around the virus started to hit home, it seems that my fears have been put into perspective and now it is not just about me. Oddly now, I am feeling more at peace and hopeful, because I know what is happening will bring about something good. I have listened to your recordings over the years. A couple of years ago, I really sat down and revisited Anatomy of the Spirit. I am a yoga teacher and a painter, (believing I was open and receptive) and I always resonated with your teachings, but I could never let the messages penetrate, I could not let the yoga teachings penetrate, or anyone else's brilliance. This was not for lack of wanting. Because I am in recovery, I delved into the 12 steps again, but this go round, has felt more mystical, and the process of the steps gave me access to the energy of your work and to the yoga teachings, to other teachers teachings that I have followed. The twelve steps give me the power of choice, and access power. I am not saying that all is wonderful and roses, but I am saying that I know there is a divine energy that will solve this crisis. I love and appreciate your work. How can we apply the Anatomy of the Spirit in this situation? I will be following your lead during this time, and thank you for being here. I will be praying with you, I will be praying with Marianne Williamson, and I am going to start a circle of prayer with the people around me. Thank you for explaining how you pray, I am going to start practicing that.
