Hello everyone. This is my story: After a 3-month period of intense anxiety, panic attacks depression and non-stop running thoughts i 've felt a pain in the left hemisphere (also i ve had increase blood pressure). Then this pain was expanding all over the head, it was like headaches, spasms, diziness, auras, stings. I had at the same time disturbance of the vision both of my eyes. Gradually i developed sharpening of my 5 senses and i began to forget things. Also, my thoughts were slower and slower until now that it' s like i cant thinkg anymore something new. It is like there is no short term memory. Also, my long term memories are like they are frozen..like my brain is now working. Like i overheated it and now is shut down. It's too hard for me to write this text. I was very smart with a very strong and detailed memory, and now i fell like i have lost all of my knowledge. I am disconnnected from all the emotions too. I am watching a movie and i cant understand it and i cant feel anything. It's like i am dumb. I can't read or make something creative. Also, i noticed that my all personality has changed, like i became the opossite of me. My fears, my nervousness, curiosities, dont even exist. I dont hace perception of the reality, i cant feel the serious case of the pandemic and all this sad. I feel like i am disconnected from the reality , the people and the things i loved. Its like i am only a body without feelings or personality. Also, i have differences in my skin, stomach, mucles and movements. The only i can feel is apathy. I am trying to behave like my old personality. I got an MRI, a CT, blood test, and clinical test and all were very good. My neurologist and psychiatrc told me that is a psychological issue that lead me here from intense stress. I am feeling like i am losing my mind. How is this possible to happen? I am lost in space and time. Can anyone help me of feeling the same?

Same for me. Watching the world from behind some glass wall. It's like i can only answer someone in two three words. There is no clear train thougth. Cant keep up with someone talking to me like i'm not interested. Also there is like electro shocks going through my body. Sometimes it's just one finger sometimes my whole body tilts from impulse. Started reading The power of now by Eckhart Tolle. Read two chapters and it was impossible for me to tell what it was on about. This constant feeling of no access to the front of the brain. Doing meditation, Wim Hof breathing and cold showers daily. Have to ask. How are You after one year?

Im a final year university student and I've been experiencing major brain fog for the past few months. I usually perform very well in class, but lately it's very very hard to focus. Im currently writing my thesis and this condition has completely hindered my performance. I wake up feeling empty, I always forget what to do, I have difficulty forming words, and the worst thing is that I can't focus. I hate this so much because it makes me feel worthless. I wake up early to be productive but at the end I just end up staring blankly on the monitor or books for hours because my mind is super hazy and I can't get any information.

I have type 1 diabetes (diagnosed this July) and I noticed for about a year before diagnosis I was getting terrible brain fog. It hindered my progress throughout my final year of high school. It made me awkward in conversations as I couldn't think clearly enough to start them, let alone maintain them. Procrastination during this period went through the roof. For some reason I didn't get any enjoyment out of anything anymore, found it difficult to pay attention to the plots of movies and books, couldn't even play video games properly. My mind and eyes felt numb all the time. For a brief period after T1D diagnosis, I felt this clear, I felt more confident, more ballsy. But then I started college only a month later, and the workload, on top of the socialising and my newfound diabetes life... the brain fog comes pouring in. I skip classes sometimes because I know I'm not going to get anything out of it in my current state anyway. I constantly worry about my future in a confusing way, can't seem to think logically anymore. It's like being light headed but less physical symptoms.

Mariano Martinez about 4 years now, I smoked way too young though. I've been on Xanax the last couple of months and it helps but at some point you have to get off opiates. My advice though would be to not smoke again for sure bro ever lol I didn't smoke for 4 years and it got better with time but unfortunately I smoked again this year to see how I would be and it made my fogginess even worse. It gets better though, just takes time ...

I’ve been dealing with depression and low energy levels for years and sleep apnea symptoms since a kid and it runs in my family so I probably have it as I have a lot of troubles sleeping still as an adult and got caught not breathing before in my sleep. I have had hormone issues for over a decade and hoping to get tested for it and my thyroid. I haven’t felt like myself for a couple years now and feel slow and dumb and like I can’t accomplish much which sucks, and it’s affected me mentally. Ive also been dealing with a bunch of other unexplainable body happenings which hasn’t helped. I hope I can finally put my health first this year. I’ve almost always been on the quieter and reserved side but I feel like all the health problems have just made my ability to connect with people impossible and I just am back to barely speaking the whole day to people even when I’m surrounded by a bunch of people daily which hasn’t helped especially when you are having bad thoughts and feel alone.
