I love it. pro tip, if you are very anxious person with hyperactive sympathetic system, you can lower inhale and do longer exhale instead to offset that dominance, you will still be in coherence, I do 3 sec inhale and 9 sec exhale

There are number of Breathing techniques which exists within the Yogic wisdoms. Inhale breathing 1 cout vs 1.5 counts of exhale, 1 to 1 ratio, 1 to 2 reatio and many more. Of course , these 6 counts in and 6 counts out also exist. It wasn't inventions of some new guru or doctor. May be they could have done some scientific research on that and made it popular. But it was already in there within the Yogic wisdoms.

that's 2.5 breaths per minute. it's probably going to force a gasp for air after a while.
