I worked as a government financial analyst and even though I had zero experience when I first started, once I got the basics mastered, I quickly grew into someone who could think of immediate solutions to very complex problems. Some things take time to understand but eventually it becomes much easier and you grow into becoming an authority in that area.

@@rayhana9259 right now in the Google Data Analytics program Excel, R, Tableau, and SQL are covered. As someone who has spent years in data science, it's incredible to see a video like this distill the fundamentals of data analytics so effectively. I remember when I first started in this field-data seemed like an untamed beast, and every analysis felt like climbing a mountain without a map. Over time, I realized that understanding why the data matters is just as important as knowing how to analyze it. This video is a fantastic resource, not just for beginners but also for seasoned professionals looking for a clear reminder of the basics we sometimes overlook. The way it explains the data lifecycle-collection, cleaning, analysis, and interpretation-is spot on. I particularly appreciated the emphasis on storytelling with data, which is often what separates a good analyst from a great one. To anyone starting their data journey, my advice is this: focus on building a solid foundation, like the one outlined here. Tools and technologies will change, but the principles of critical thinking, problem-solving, and curiosity will always be your strongest assets. Kudos to the creator for making data analytics so accessible-this is a resource I’d recommend to anyone in the field!

Your advice will really be appreciated.

Sometimes explaining and reading the guidelines of a career sounds alot more complicated than it really is. I'm an accoutant and I can explain in detail what I do, but really it's just make sure everything is accurate while taking into consideration other factors. I could easily transition to a data analyst or for my case, a financial analyst.

@@omarioBOSboy01 I'm an accountant as well, for the past 8 years and can definitely agree with @fineth9319. I have been anywhere between a full-cycle accountant all the way up to a financial analyst for corporate companies, and in line with @fineth9319: most people make it seem like it's complicated and like a very serious working environment, from job descriptions to what social media, tv shows and other people assume accountants are, (serious people in front of computers in cubicles, you can hear a pin drop for how quiet it is, etc.), or encounters people have had with some, but it's nothing far than what it really is for the majority in that profession. The jist of it is as simple as: knowing how to add and subtract, making sure reports and data is accurate (being analytical), data entry, manipulating data and other things. Depending on where you live, you can make good money, especially in major cities, like Miami, New York and Los Angeles in the United States.

Hi! I’m not a data analysis but this is my assumption: I would assume the analyst would look at everyone who DOES subscribe to a paid membership. Then they would analysis what all those subscribers have in common ie. Is it a particular age group, ethnicity, location, is it most males/females , particular professions etc Assuming the companys goal is to get more paid subscribers, the analyst would clean the data, present it to the company, and the board would make the executive decision based off that data. Ie. “It looks like people who subscribe to our product are mostly 50-70 year olds. Lets advertise in older communities”. Or “most of our subscribers are doctors/medical professionals. We need to market ourselves to the head of health departments” etc But also, idk lol

Apologies for the late reply, but I’ve got some tips that might help you out. - Adjust your speed. By changing how quickly you speak, you will force yourself to think about what you are saying and how you are saying it. This can lead to clearer speech - in grammar, organization, and pronunciation. - Observe speakers and writers you enjoy. You don’t need to copy their style, but by learning what you like, you can develop your own style. - Prepare, but don’t overdo it. Not everything needs a pre-written speech, but bulletpoints on what you need to address can be extremely helpful. - Record yourself and/or get feedback from others. The best way to know how you are doing is to get direct feedback. Recordings are great because you can see exactly what you want to adjust, but bystanders are just as valuable. - Listen and read. The opposites of speaking and writing are important, too. They help you learn what works, what doesn’t, and how to respond appropriately. - Know your strengths. You likely already have default ways of presenting and writing. These can be used to your advantage. Me? I’ve got a deeper voice, a laid-back demeanor, and direct manner of speaking, so I try to come across as knowledgeable, calm, and somewhat humorous/ironic. I know being extremely energetic or the funniest guy in the room won’t work for me, so I don’t do those things. - Be patient. Getting better at any form of communication takes a long time. Still, it can be done. Just practice and don’t be too hard on yourself. - Practice. You won’t get better without it. Hope this helps, A professional writer and former teacher with a Bachelors in Communications specializing in PR.

No, you are the one designing the AI or algorithms based on your parameters. That's why you're needed. To decide how AI/algorithms to analyse that data.

Currently enrolled in the MBA program for data analytics. At my company i sat with a data analyst. He was basically coding using R while another rep on the team used Tableu. Ill admit R looked pretty imtimidating and i have no background in that area. However he did say he had zero experience and he just had to work and play around to gain the knowledge and experience. Thats the only thing that worries. However in my current im very logical, methodical, and analytical. I love looking at information and making charts etc. MY boss reconmmened to a system business analyst and grow my skills aroudn that. Is their anything else should I be doing? I currently want to do soemthing that will make me happy.

Process of Data Analysis: *5 Main Steps* *STEP 1* Define the questions you want to answer - (Why you conducting this analysis, what answers you need to find) *STEP 2* Collect the data - (from primary sources or from internal data or from external data sources) *STEP 3* Clean the data - (handle duplicate, anomalies or missing data and prepare it for analysis) *STEP 4* Analyze the data - (Regression analysis, Cluster Analysis, Time series analysis etc) *STEP 5* Interpret and Share the Results - (data turned into valuable business insights. In form of a chart or graph. It shows you the answers of the initial questions)
