There can be many reasons for the foot drop. Some easily identified and some not. I have foot drop on both feet. I've seen an army of doctors and specialists, and had every test imaginable....still no diagnosis.

Do they still do this surgery if you have negative emg tests? I’m getting nerve testing done the 24th and worried after reading 1/3 of them are normal. I have numbness tingling and pins and needles on top of my foot and pain from fibular head weakness. No foot drop…yet. Do the tests usually show anything in these instances? I got it from leg crossing and casts over the year.

I had severe foot drop suddenly after prolonged kneeling and sitting on leg for hours(floor instalation) Initialy i had not lift my foot even one mm After 10 days i restored full range of motion but i noticed there is not full power like before,when i put weights around 10 kg's on foot and try to lift i only can do few reps Will my muscle power restore fully if i keep exercise? Now is 2 weeks when problem started,,range is there but power is not fully restored.
