Quick tip: if you want to look around a corner or wall without being noticed by any mobs present there like when pixlriffs died go to third person view and angle your view so that you can see. this is very helpful in nether fortresses as you can be prepared to fight a wither skeleton or a blaze sitting around a corner. Hope it helps ; )

I like to think of this as a guide to what's possible in survival, not just what you need to do to survive. Minecraft is a sandbox game, after all, and the basics of survival are pretty easy - but people often ask me what to do when they get bored in their survival worlds, and this series is here to suggest projects and give examples :)

In 1.16+ you can just add an HHH datapack on world creation instead of opening to LAN (or doing NBT editing or…) Also, nitpick: health is a float. I don’t know if any sources of damage come in non-integer amounts, but I think so, and that means you *can* take less than one point of damage in HHH and be fine. I wouldn’t want to count on it, though. And if that is possible, I want to see 2^-149 health hardcore (where you do have to avoid any (non-absorbed) damage)
@slicedlime3 жыл бұрын
From experience, you need some pretty high-level enchanted gear for it to reduce the damage enough. It did save me a couple of times though.

Considering how many times it's out of your control when you take a small amount of damage in most games I've always thought that instantdeathhardcore modes were just a gamble and not really more a challenge than just a hard mode would be. Or more like just annoying. A silverfish for example... ugh and that's one of the more evadable sources. I will never forget how every time I died in Diablo3 hardcore it was when the net connection introduced a little bit of freeze/lag. How fun when playing singleplayer...
