It´s a pity that all your models are sold. Is there a way to be notified when you get a new piece? Thanks

They sell pretty quickly! And yes you can by signing up for our newsletter at www.craftandtailored.com/ and if you follow us on IG: instagram.com/craftandtailored/ where we post our latest finds and updates there first!

Great video, I recently found my dads Benrus and was looking for any info on it. He was a naval pilot and found this watch going through some of his old stuff. It still runs, but it needs a new strap, could you recommend where to find a new strap for it?

Very cool watch. What do you think of MK II's take on it? The Paradive.

I think they are super cool!! I think they are a great homage to the originals which can be quite difficult to find!

Is it a springbar if it’s fixed and there is no spring in the bar? Not trying to be a smartass just wondering if there is another term for these components...

Its actually called fixed lug bars or strap bars. Not sure why experts keep referring to these as springbars either

Too many type 2 and homages out there the profit/service margin is essentially non-existence. I would save up and look for a type 1 (non-sterile) its going to appreciate so much more.

Why would you NOT have the lum refreshed? Cool watch but the hands are garbage! And I know you paid good money for it!

I like keeping things original and in their found condition especially when it comes to watches with a historical value

@@craftandtailored actually and realistically, these things would get relumed and continue service in real world military usage, after all its a critical function. In service it is called "jimmy rigging" to get the job done or else refurbished to get it serviceable. You will find many equipment modified, reconditioned, rebuilt as used in the forces. If u end up with a nice example " as found" then the piece probably saw little relative action and therefore its provenance is limited compared with a rigged but functional piece or even a service refurbished piece. The user probably sat a taxpayer provided military desk and either shuffled papers all day or barked orders, or both.
