Well-made video. Especially you explaining the hardness aspect and matching that with the type of wood as well as situation where 3M patch would work better - that is priceless advice ! Thanks and keep us educating .....

Thanks for the review on the those products. I went to Home Depot today and the guy in the paint department told me to use MH Ready Patch for an over cut hole when I installed recessed lighting. Do you think MH Ready Patch is ok to use on the ceilings / drywall? I just need to add about an half inch. Cheers.

Sorry for the delay on my response. I bet you already fixed the hole lol. Yes sir. MH ready patch will work great for that.

What do you recommend for patching nail holes on a deck?
@MaydaysCustomWoodworks3 жыл бұрын
I'd go with Timbermate in the case, since it will likely need to be color matched.

What about for wood on exterior houses
@MaydaysCustomWoodworks2 жыл бұрын
Ready patch is interior and exterior. You can use that for painted projects. I'm not sure about unpainted lumber... Maybe some "post finishing putty". There's companies like "Color Putty" that make oil based wood colored putties that you can't coat over. We've been using those a lot. They are great products.
