Mine would lie about lying. He had the nerve to say he never lied to me!!!!! I was like ARE YOU SERIOUS? Meanwhile he gets his side chick pregnant with twins while we were married. Lied all the time. Like all the time. I’m still finding out stuff and/or realizing stuff. Stuff that he doesn’t even need to lie about he lies about…I just can’t 😂😂😂 so glad we are divorced. He is doing the same stuff to his baby mama & I’m pretty sure she packed up the twins and left. Hopefully…if she know’s what’s good for her.

So true. The rage is real.. this is my sister the vulnerable narcissist until she's Angry and then there she is.. the real person.. She lied for over 30 years so many reasons why she couldn't hold down a job and I supported her financially through it all. I finally saw through all the narcissistic deception and cut her off completely. Surprise surprise shes managed to hold down a job for more than a month now! Have nothing but contempt for her now.

She lied so much that there were two different realities, the reality she provided and the reality I saw and experienced. When it was time to pick one, her reality was the least painful. It conflicted with the other one so much my mind developed cognitive dissonance which nearly broke my brain. She backed herself into such a corner that her lies became too obvious and clumsy and constant that it allowed me the chance I needed to escape. It was like waking up from a dream/nightmare and realizing nothing over the last 9 years was real. Like waking up from a 9 year coma.

I had the same experience with my cheating ex of 15 years 😔 I forgave her multiple times when I caught her cheating back when we were on our 1st year in a relationship. And all she ever excused was humans are meant to love a lot of people and are not monogamous in nature..she's justifying her cheating and when I caught her, she said that I don't love you anymore for such a long time already...Which was really painful for me..after all we've been through for 15 years, she can just discard it like that.

It drives me insane that someone could be so cowardly and dishonest that they want to having their lying ass cake and have everyone eat it too and also say how delicious the cake is and how grateful you are for it. Who really finds it okay to be so dishonest and call themselves a good man and a man of God. It's truly pathetic and disgusting and dishonorable

There are so many levels of narcissism, but lying is one of the biggest components of narcissism, as well as manipulation. I didn't realize I was in a relationship with a narcissist until after we broke it off. I started coming across videos like this on KZbin, and a bell went off. This was one of the most draining and baffling relationships I have ever experienced.

I believe that was just part of the story he told me to back up the lies he knew he would continue to tell, and left me confused and constantly questioning to say the least. Sadly I came to the conclusion that he really just hates himself.

It is SO refreshing to see a person want to change their lives to become the individual God intended. Good for you! I admire your dedication and hard work. Thank you for the videos put forth to help those who have been affected by a narcissist, including myself. These videos have educated me with an understanding of who I was dealing with. I constantly questioned myself, blamed myself, and walked on eggshells when I was with my ex narcissist. My self-esteem was at the lowest ever in my life. This person tried to emotionally destroy me. I had no idea narcissistic personality disorder existed. I am an empath. It has been challenging to move forward. My faith in God and the strength I get through God in the name of his son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit who guides me has helped me come to a point where I finally went 100% no contact. It’s getting better and a little easier every day. Your videos have helped me move forward with hope. My ex told lies for no reason and I caught him out a couple of times. One time after we had broken up and he ditched our kids to hook up with a girl he didn't even like much and didn't see again, our daughter cried herself to sleep. He worked away and he usually came to stay at the weekend (I didn't want him taking the kids to his house because he was so neglectful of their needs) and she had spent all day waiting for her daddy who didn't show. He then told me some bullshit story about taking his friends home in his car and losing track of time or some load of bollocks, he wouldn't even pick the phone up. I didn't say anything to him about the lies but blasted him for breaking our daughters heart, now I barely believe anything he says so I let most of it go over my head, sometimes this annoys him. It does backfire especially since he's in serious trouble with the law and I still don't believe a word he says so doesn't have me backing him up. Serves him right for telling lies for no reason

All of the so-called overtime that he was working back in the day, how did we end up in bankruptcy court several years ago....?...hmm.... And his paid vacation time seemed to melt away, without spending any real quality time together. Many many times did I sit down with this guy in all the years that we were married, to talk about our relationship. I never could get any straight answers. Just a lot of blame pointed at me, for not working a full-time job. How many times did I explained to him that working full-time would have been child care expenses that I'm sure would have come right out of MY pocket, not his. I wonder what he was doing with his "overtime". Well, that was a long time ago. Been done with him for over 3 years. Since then I have thought off and on about things that happened in our nearly thirty years together. There were a lot of things that didn't make sense. So that tells me a lot of lies were going on.

A couple thoughts, if I may... First~ While I agree wholeheartedly with your assessment that the lying will only become more prolific the longer you're with them, "put up" with it. And that in a broad sense, if you *Can* leave but don't, then you're in essence telling them that you're willing to accept being lied to, you're "Ok" with their habit.. what I wish more people would allow for and include in these sweeping generalizations is that the other person dealing with the Narcissist(particularly thinking about someone living with them) may Loathe, be truly distressed by the constant lying and everything else that comes along with the NPD package, and Yet, they may not have the luxury of a place to go should they "leave"! There are tragically, quite a few of us in that very situation. I would leave in a heartbeat if only I had someplace to go; other than being instantly homeless on the streets. At 64, serious health issues, and thanks to my husband- terrible credit, meager monthly income(SSDisability) which unfortunately, precludes my being eligible for state aid.. only a handful of clothes, a few photo albums & sentimental possessions to my name at this point.. I don't see leaving him currently as an option. My therapist and I have been diligently, tirelessly looking for a simple place that I can afford- a living situation that would provide shelter/sufficient food/ability to pay for my 2 essential meds each month.. I'd make do with just the most basic situation if only we could find a place, but so far, to no avail.😔 But, I keep praying, looking, researching & searching... Added to my difficult situation is the fact that my therapist left her practice in Feb. to pursue a different aspect of the mental health field. I will always be grateful for the almost 3 yrs I was fortunate enough to work with her and get to know her. I'm having a tricky time finding a new one that accepts new patients in our area, but I'm still looking. Anyway, my point is this: I would leave if I could! And I'm not alone in this scenario, that's all I'm saying!😉 My other question(?).. is this: why do so many Narcissists lie when the truth vs telling a lie would make zero difference to the one listening?! Where it has zero to do with control or controlling the narrative for a desired outcome, like laughter? Just as an example: Me:"Oh, what were they serving for lunch, honey?" Him: "pizza." (They were serving fish) Now, do I Care whether they were serving fish or pizza? NO, lol! Yet, here comes the lie.. Why?! That's a very simple example, there are so many other times that deal with all aspects of his & our daily lives that he lies about.. And maybe that's something you can't really answer, I don't know, but I thought I would ask. Thanks so much!😊🩷 Thank you very much for your videos.. your insights are very perceptive and seem to be honest.😉 I hope you know that you are a unicorn among Narcissists, lol! It's almost unheard of to get a Narcissist to do serious self reflection, take therapy seriously.. let alone, put in the work necessary to get to where you are today! Congratulations!😊👍

You have to fit all the characteristics in being a narcissist.. some just lie just to get out of trouble .. Narcissist shows control in lying ..

Ok… wow! Living with my 6:20 narcissist boyfriend for almost 3 years. In the past year he Stopped taking😮 me with him to his friend’s house . Buddies didn’t want me there. He stopped including me with his family. I am blocked on his messenger and Facebook. I did nothing. Evidently I grind my teeth in my sleep… he woke up in the middle of the night … got angry.. kicked me out of the bedroom… next morning he announced he would NOT be spending my birthday with me! (A BIG birthday.) It’s been 3 days. No words spoken.

I started deliberately mirror the narcissist to see if they feel anything and they were just ignoring me as if they knew that was "their line". Js lying and cheating also involves theft and the worst part is theft of time. ✌️ I think the distance is not working bc they planned the emotional hurt so I would leave. Js a man who tells you they're late for change of tire, but come home clean, tire is replaced but where were they that they couldn't call to inform you of their issues?
