Tha k you for that. Before I listened to you I thought about what drew me to people like Jeff Durban and James white and Doug Wilson over the past three years. I came to the same conclusions as you. I was looking for strong men who were defending Christianity at a time that I saw more people cowering to government. John MacArthur was the only non theonomist I knew of who wasn’t. It did really confuse me for about two years. I found Mike Vlach and Abner Chou very helpful in understanding what the Bible teaches and am grateful for their clarity. Thank you for what you do too. It really helps. I’m in England and we don’t have many men who make a stand for the Lord here in sound doctrine

Dispensationalism sounds like a loser idea compared to reconstruction. Jesus said there will be persecution. That means you'll need someone to persecute. So maybe some areas, however small, will create a beautiful Christendom. And, what better example to follow than God Himself describing how a society should function? Of course, dispensing with God's guidance let's you keep all your dirty little habits. So there is that.

Well, all that matters is what the Bible says, not what viewpoint sounds better to us. Within any viewpoint it is possible to have small areas which are Christian. That’s not unique to reconstructionism.

I don't care what you call yourselves. I don't care that you worship a god (even a bad printout/caricature of one). MY PROBLEM is that you people have the self-righteous gull to think that politically imposing your religion in the public sphere in a privileged position is a GOOD THING. the United States is supposed to be a pluralistic democracy not a fascistic Christian theocracy.

Well, it may be helpful for you to know that, traditionally, American Christianity is the reason why there is a public square to exchange ideas in the first place. There is a contingent of so-called Christians today that say other viewpoints should not be allowed in the public square, but the majority of Christians today still believe in freedom of religion.
