"The real change in fantasy war games"... how many times I've heard that :D I'll test it... but you should still be careful at the moment about how well it's really received. Especially because you have to buy extra things again ! not just the minis, also extra dice and markers (you can build them yourself)

From my perspective, it is a real change. How popular it is doesn't come into that, that's a secondary consideration. I've not been as inspired or interested by a fantasy wargame... ever. I played some WFB, AoS, and similar. They were fine, but they didn't interest and intrigue me. Warcrow does. The reception will define the longevity of the game, not whether it is a free perspective or not. Does that makes sense? Regarding the accessories, that's almost always true. Thankfully, the most exotic ones come in the box, so provided you're in to one of those two factions, that won't be a major issue. We're also being told that the dice and templates will be out fairly quickly around the time of the launch of the battle box, so they will be available.

Super hyped with the Warcrow universe! I'm going all in with both the DC and the Wargame! My main faction will be Sÿenann but Yaldabaoth and Northern Tribes go close too because they look great and the pieces of lore about them that we have makes them soo attractive to me. Also the rest of the factions are very cool and because of that I will try to invest as much as possible to go all in with everything Warcrow related😁💪🏼 Keep up the good work guys! You earned a new subscriber 😉

I'm looking forward to this series as I'm interested in Warcrow and I know the models will be great, but I'm really curious to know how the game plays and scales. I'm looking at a variety of games to get into besides my main game (MCP) but the lack of info on how this game plays is really cooling me on it. Hopefully we get some info about that soon.

iam hyped for this game, normaly iam not that into medievil fantasy but i like the sculpts of warcrow and the most important reason is, that the minis are not made out of metal 😊

Well, there are some bits that trace themselves to Infinity, but this is a very different game. Very. Much cleaner, simpler. My suggestion is to download the rules and give it a go!

I am excited for this to launch. It feels like it's being going on for years. I don't like the way CB has launched the info for it. Those shorts are great for showing off minis but not the info. It would be great if they could do one big video with all the info too

Actually interested. I'm struggling to thing of more than 1 or 2 REEEEEEALY old infin models that are unusable. As opposed to say.. deleting 1/3 of your flagship range for a new system!!

Fair enough. I think it'll be a year until we see another battle pack, but the factions are starting to release shortly.

So I understand the starter set offers like 1/4th of a standard sized force for either faction ? What would be the cost of a full force for a standard sized game then?

The siocast has peak my interest but what would get me in if they invest in the fluff. I like the idea and aesthetics of infinity but the wombo combo of metal minis and lore being an esoteric afterthought especially for named characters hindered it for me.

Very much looking forward to this. Love the minis and the cardstock terrain. Saw a gameplay video from adepticon, and it seems like it's fast and fun, without too much of the complexity of Infinity (still new to that game). Really can't wait to paint those Northern Tribes models.

I am a Kickstarter backer of Warcrow Adventures and after this experience, I will stay as far away from Corvus Belli as possible. They have shown nothing but disrespect and neglect towards their backers. It would be hard to believe they treat their regular customers any better.

In what sense? I understand that there have been major delays, and that the communication has not been as frequent as it should have been. What else have they done to rile you so much?

@@thedicegodswg Delays happen, unfortunately, regularly with Kickstarter projects and that is, in essence, ok if it leads to a better product in the end. In such situations, communication is key and communication is not something CB has a good handle on. As a backer, I shouldn't have to get informations on the progress of the project from a handful of different sources, none of them them the actual updates. Direct communications with CB is simply abysmal. You either get no response or a reply that has absolutely nothing to do with the issue you contacted them or they are just incredibly rude and have a massive holier-than-thou attitude. Warcrow Adventures is the 2nd CB project I backed. There were hints of this in the first one but nothing like the current experience. If I desire a CB product in the future, I will stick to retail.

Was hyped at a time. But since.they dont show any gameplay and till this day dont have their magic system down. I dont have high confidence that the game will be balanced and fun. Therefore I pass on this one.

There's some game play appearing around KZbin, but CB tends to do that type of reveal when the pre-order starts. So, that'll be mid-July. But fair enough, if you're not confident, it's always worth waiting to see what it's actually like. I've certainly been bitten by the hype train before! Totally get it.

Nice paint jobs but unless I see real models and not computer renders or someone that could have painted the details on, I’m not likely to try this. It’s appalling how many miniature companies bait and switch with the aid of computer renders or hiring a talented painter. If they had proper confidence on their quality, they would post pictures of the raw models imho.
