I have to say that in a long distance relationship you learn how to express your feelings beyond your body language. And it benefits in the following: you learn to highlight substantial things of your daily routine, which also contributes to your outlook, as you begin to notice and cherish every moment of YOUR life. I haven't seen my significant one for 8 months, but we've never had such confidence (& passion :)))) in and for each other as right now, which also makes us both very confident in our choices (aka both growing to be better people). We've had silence when together, and now a hundred words is not enough to describe how great my cup of tea in the garden is. It's just damn wonderful how one person can make you feel in so many different ways, and collaterally helps you explore and develop your personality as well.

I dated long distance for 7 years. We would only see each other about a month each year. It was hard. But we never ran out of things to talk about. Even though it was not an ordinary romance, it was beutiful and deep. We each got to grow, and develop our own identities outside of each other, and we were able to connect on a deeper level. We are now married, and we enjoy seeing each other everyday. It is wonderful. So I would say, It was totally worth it.

I had no idea he existed and I met him and completely fell in love with him I've seen him twice ever since that day and I actually saw him a week ago and planning on seeing him once again this weekend. We plan on getting married and we have spoken about it since day one so I hope we can be successful like you. Glad everything worked out

Brian Servino I understand that completely. The best thing in mine is that we are both gamers, so we join in teamspeak with a bunch of people who tend to get it. I have two real life friends in there now, who didn't understand iit, and now they do since they have met him and game together all the time. My best friend is in there, who I met in game and then met in person over a year ago. So it makes it easier now:D

The guy in the red shirt. His face is blank, his voice devoid of any emotions, but still he was the only person who impacted me the most in this video. I have been in a long distance relationship for just an year, but when my boyfriend told me to break up since this relation had no future( religion differences and distance being a major reason) , I just became like this guy. Numb, quiet, expression-less. Post breakup we still talk but it has become such a formal talk that I can't help but cry remembering how close we were at a particular point of time, and where it has bought us today. I spend time doing everything else except thinking about him, still cry in the end for losing him and not being able to stop him when he walked out. What hurts me is the fact is that probably I didn't love him enough so that he could think of having a future with me, despite the obstacles. He might would have given up on me but I won't, ever. He was the first guy I had fallen for. All I do now is just stare at his pictures till my eyes blur. Probably that's how it was meant to be.

Long distance isn't easy...but it's very doable and worth it when you truly care about them..it's especially rewarding when you see eachother and get to finally be in eachother's arms. How they fail is mainly when a person 'gives up' and they drift away.

I've been in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend for the past three years. He's in the United State Airforce and is constantly traveling. I am stuck back home trying to get my nursing degree. It really is hard, not going to lie. There were a lot of fights and tears but it really is worth it when I get to see him after a whole year or six months of deployment. When you finally get to see each other again, you forget you were ever apart. Facetime and Skype is what holds us together. Its good just to see each other. We leave it on and just do our own thing. Its fine when we're not constantly talking, what couple actually talks 24/7. If you love someone enough, distance doesn't really matter.

To Aflac and light king all because you trust your significant other doesn't stop them from cheating. They're human beings who will come across temptations especially if he/she goes away to college. They can very well find someone to take your place. Now I agree they should control themselves but things happen unfortunately. Don't be naive all because you think they will not do something doesn't mean they will stay faithful

The one about silent calls is uncomfortably true. That's happened many times with me and my girlfriend. There are many causes for it 1) Anyone will get sick and tired of just sitting and talking one on one with the same person at regular intervals. Don't get me wrong, we have great Skype calls too (our record is 9 hours!!) and make an effort to make things fun and talk about everything under the sun. But sometimes you do run out of stuff to say or you are both living regular days and don't have much new stuff to bring up. That silence or lack of energy can escalate into a problem where you both think the relationship has run its course... 2) ...but that is only because you are calling and talking to 2D videos of each other and not sharing life with each other. There is no physical connection. No comfortable everyday silences that normal couples regularly share. No everyday things to do together which involve little to no talking. No comforting support that a partner should be able to provide. You need to remember that it is not your relationship that is weird and distant at times, it is the scenario. Being distant from each other physically can and will make you feel distant emotionally now and then. You have to live life for yourself and not rely on the other person because they can't be there (which is a positive in my book). Emotional distance is one of the hardest parts of being in a long distant relationship and I assume what leads to most break ups. 3) Many times you will not be in the same mood or don't have the free time. Maybe she really wants to chat for hours on Skype and I don't. Vice versa. Sometimes we both match up and are happy and excited to talk on and on with one another but sometimes one of us isn't. It's difficult to keep any conversation going if one person is tired or grumpy or not in the mood (a big time difference ie. 8 hours, can exacerbate this). One way conversations do not last very long. It's best to just acknowledge this and tell each other it's not personal. Try again another day and in the meantime send each other little messages and videos and things you find funny or interesting to show they are always on your mind. In the end I always like to remind myself that a huge portion of relationships wouldn't stand a chance under this kind of pressure and if we can make it work for as long as we have, we have something special. And when we do meet up in person we appreciate it SOOOOO much more than others. And it makes you mature and understand the real issues a relationship can face and laugh at all the little crap some couples argue over. TIPS- watch a TV show together. While video chatting if possible. It gives you something to do without talking non stop, it lets you bond and enjoy each others company in peace and it gives you something to get obsessed with together.- have topics in mind before you call so if there is a silence you have a few things to steer the conversation towards.- never stop sending messages, pics, silly things, words of affection and real physical cards, letters and gifts to one another. Always give each other a reason to think you are special and worth waiting on.- MAKE SURE IT IS GOING SOMEWHERE! You might be fine just chatting for a few months but sooner or later the question will creep into your minds and if there is no clear plan or date for how and when you will get together it will cause major problems. Nobody wants to be in a relationship with no future.

Agreed, we've known eachother for over a year and there is never any awkward silences. If you "run out of words" that just means the chemistry wasn't ever that strong to begin with, we always find something to talk about. Sometimes we literally just sit there talking about how much we love eachother, how happy we make eachother and what our lives will be like when we finally move in together. I met my husband online when we were teenagers and spent the first 4 years of our relationship over 1000 miles apart. Aside from the pains they discussed in the video I also had this feeling of intense shame about how no one in my immediate area cared enough for me to love me and I had to find someone half way across the country. It still haunts me sometimes even after 2 years of marriage and over 8 years of being together.

Don't feel bad about not finding someone nearby, it's like a lottery. The chances of finding someone perfect close by is actually really tiny, so it's so much more realistic to "expand your search field". Even more so if you live in more sparsely populated areas. Finding someone online means that you find each other through common interests (most of the time at least), so it's actually only logical that you'd end up finding your match online!

I'm currently in a long distance relationship. He lives in Singapore and I live in Tennessee. There are 9,766 miles between us, but we are very strong. We built this on hope, love, and trust. And that's really all you can do...

My boyfriend lives in Wales, while I'm currently in Maryland. I think the worst part about it all is that my mother and my sister think that long distance relationships are "stupid", that they aren't real and they never work out. The two years that we have spent together is pretty much hidden from our families because of their disapproval. It's not like it really matters as we are adults ourselves, but I wish I could tell them without them being judgmental about it. I want people to know about us. It's hard enough being separate from someone in the same continent as you, but seeing as he is across the ocean it can be more difficult. We have yet to meet face to face because of the costs, but I think we're finally getting closer to meeting each other after saving up for so long. I can't express how refreshing that feeling is. Being in a long distance relationships requires a lot of trust, time and effort. It's more challenging than any of the real relationships I have had. However, I have never been so happy with someone before. True love can accomplish anything.

So glad I have come across this video. The guy with the red shirt was spot on the feelings you have when being in a long distance relationship. I am only 17 and I get judged and put down by a lot of people because I am currently in a long distance relationship. I met my boyfriend in high school, and we were really good friends before anything else. He ended up leaving after his senior year was over. He is two years older than me. He enlisted in the Army, which was great for him, ya know, he was starting his future and he was gonna do great things. We were only together for 4 months before he had to go off to basic. We wrote letters back and forth, telling each other how much we missed each other and all that other lovey dovey crap I never thought I'd be the one to say. Well after basic was over for him, I got to see him, for two days. Really great two days must I add. But those two days went by in a blink of an eye and he was gone again. But this time, he was able to have his phone, so that was a plus. But after a while, you run out of things to say. Long conversations turn into 5 minute conversations and you just start to feel sad. There are gonna be times we won't talk as planned, and you'll be mad at first but you begin to get used to it, and just go with it. There will be times he/she goes out with the guys or girls and parties, and even though you trust that person, you wish you could be there anyway. It really sucks, and takes a really strong couple to make it. Me and him have been together for one year and a couple months now, and we get into plenty of fights every so often but it's expected. In the end, I hope, and I know it will be worth it.

Me and my girlfriend basically live on Skype together like we do our own thing but Skype is still on kind of thing? So I could be playing videos games and she could be reading a book and Skype is still on and it's not much but it's us and you can still feel that connection. We fall asleep on Skype and wake up on Skype, next to eachother just like a normal relationship. Obviously it's not 24/7 and we do out own things as well but I like the fact that we can sit in silence on a Skype call for hours on end. And, at the end of all of it we still get that feeling of excitement every time we get to meet

I'm currently in a long-distance pseudo-relationship with a girl that I am head-over-heels in love with that does not feel the same way about me, even though we've been the closest of friends for years. And it's not that she doesn't want to take it further, but there's so much baggage and stress in her life, she just can't right now. Someday we may very well have a chance, it's just not today. But I don't mind the distance, and I don't mind waiting, because I could not imagine my life without her in it. I'm a romantic, I revel in the pain and sorrow of separation and the exquisite joy of being reunited. And I have yet to meet another woman about whom I can say the same thing. So until I do, my heart will stay 2000 miles away.

I've been doing long distance for three years now and we still have two years to go because I'm at university thousands of kilometres away. We see each other in the holidays, and what I can say I've learnt is the the two most important things are trust and communication. Love is important too, but trust and communication, whether it be Skype, phone calls, whatsapp, steam (a gaming platform) or all of them together, will make sure that your happiness always comes first and that you get through it together. Long distance makes you treasure your time together in away that I don't think people who haven't tried it understand, which is cool, but at the same time I feel like we've been in the "honeymoon phase" of our relationship the for all four of the years we've been together because we're always so excited to just be together. I haven't had the opportunity to know everyday life with him yet, which could be a risk for some people, but I think we'll be okay :) So yeah, I was just writing this message for any people entering into long distance or battling with it, just to let you know that trust and communication are everything.

It really does suck. I never really wonder if it's worth it. I am just in fear if he decides to let go of me. What's hard for me is not being able to express myself through the phone or on a text the way I could in person. He can't see my expressions to know how I meant to write what I said. A phone call makes that a bit better, but it's still not the same. They can't see you... It's already hard enough as it is to express your feelings to others in person; to the point they'll understand. Imagine through a phone... that's all you really have... I'm never going to give him up though, even though this sucks for me. I understand his feelings and desires. I get it. I want him to be happy. Even though I only see him mostly 3times a month, it doesn't matter. I want this work.

Both of us are like the pillars holding our families up fiscally, and since we're both in college, we're broke af & then we have this added responsibility. It's hard... I can't see myself with anyone else, but eventually, it does peter out... "how was your day?" "it was fine, yours?" "mine was good too" & then silence. That's the hardest part. And he doesn't have a laptop or a smartphone, which makes it even worse. :/

I've been in a long distant relationship for many years now. We never run out of things to talk about, we both love to ramble about random things and go off on different tangents in our conversations all the time. And when there is a silence, it's always a comfortable and peaceful one. Not in anyway awkward or weird. We both just feel comfortable enough with each other that silence doesn't bother us, even over the phone. I think that's when you know you've found the right person.

I was in an extremely difficult and heart-breaking on-off long-distance relationship for almost 4 years, and we met for the first time a week ago. It was worth every minute of both immense pain and joy. In my opinion, the main struggle both people have to work for is remaining as understanding as possible and remembering that you're both hurting and missing each other. The wait is definitely worth it.

This is a great representation of LDRs. I'm currently in one and have been for almost two years, the closest my boyfriend's been to me is an hour and the farthest is six (he's moved about three times since we started dating). It's hard because I'm still in college and he's already graduated and living in apartments but I can't leave the area of my school and he can't leave the area of his work. Thank you for this video, being told that LDRs aren't going to work and that they're not worth it has gotten so old. the scariest thing is telling your family and friends that finally met someone and connected easily and perfectly but come out saying that they live in another state and to have them judging you saying "wow that's a waste of time" "this is a big city where you can find someone that is closer to you" "how can you fall in love with someone you've never met" like I want him and I've fallen in love with him and he maybe a thousand miles away from me but I don't care it's just like any other relationship but only a few miles apart.

I went into a online LDR last summer with this guy that lived oceans away. When he told me he liked me back, it was such a joyous thing. The first few months went great, even though all of my friend and classmates made fun of it and told me it wasn't real. I don't blame them for not understanding, but throughout the whole thing, I only had a few friends support me. Neither of us had had a boyfriend or a girlfriend before then, so relationships was a new thing for us. My brother had told me that he went though the whole online LDR thing for a few months, and that it was fun. That gave me some hope. This guy had made me so happy for so long, we Skyped together, played video games together, and we even bought each other games online. He was the first guy to admit they liked me, and for months on end, he made me feel special, and even boosted my self-esteem a lot. School got busy, and I had less and less time to spend for him, and at first he understood. We got farther and farther, and I stopped saying "I love you" even when he told me it first. It's not that I liked another person, it's just that we stopped spending time with each other, and the connection started to fade. About a week before I broke it off with him, he told me that he liked one of my best friends. My friends knew how much of an emotional burden he was on me, and she was smarter than to get into an LDR with him. Knowing that she chatted with him, and never letting me see the messaged that they sent to each other, lowered the trust I had for her. Once he told me that I kind of had non platonic feelings for my friend, I just gave up, right then and there. I broke it off with him after our 6 months of Skyping. Everyone told me it was good for me, and that now I can look for a "real" boyfriend. It felt fine at first, but slowing as the days passed, I started to feel lonely. The year had really been lots of new experiences for me, and I still can't decide whether or not I regret going into that long distance relationship with him. I have my regrets, but I also have good memories from that too. The sinking feeling of the whole "I'm not good enough" came back when he said he liked my friend over me. I don't think about him much anymore, so I really don't know what I took away from the whole experience. I know he loved me for quite a while too, and I guess realizing that still makes me smile, knowing that some person loved me who who I am.

I meet my boyfriend a year ago and we started a relationship three months ago, i'm sure that he is the love of my life. I miss him, but we speak every day and spend time together watching movies on Skype or just talking about our interest. Technology is the best when you have a long distance relationship that really cares and worth. I'm so happy to be the life partner with my best friend and i will never change that. It sucks when you love the person so much and you miss how he smell, how sound his voice or just see his eyes saying you I love you. I live in Mexico and he lives in LA...I wish I can have a super power and fly to see him. Work hard is the only solution to become you dreams true, he show me that.

I was in a long distance relationship for 4 years. Now we attend the same college and are getting married in June 2016. It was definitely difficult at times but we saw each other for a weekend about every 2-3 months which helped a lot. Frequent texting and calling helps considerably as well; I cannot imagine dating someone long distance before communication was so easy.

This is so true. I'm in a long distance relationship for about 2 years (practically 3 years) with my bf and we are still together because we love each other. I hear from so many people telling me that it's a fetish - which is not, at least for me - and asking me if it's worth being with him that lives in another country. Sooo many questions and people judging me because of how I share my life with someone else is constant, but what matters is that the couple will know if they want to be with their partner for sure or not. Congrats for this video! I'm so happy for those who are able to go through their days in a long distance relationship and those who ended up living together. It's hard, but the couple will figure things out to do when their in that situation. A tip: Find something in common between both of you so you wont have any "silent moments" - extremely awkward, been there -, could be a book, watch series together, video games, watch videos, talk about the news or talk more about yourself and discover new things about the other person... The list if brief, but it works :D

I just got out of a long distance relationship.. We of course met online when I was 16, and when he was 18. We tried so hard to stay strong through it all. He lived about 750 miles away and I remember right after I turned 17 (4 months after dating), I flew down to stay a week with him in his dorm. Then, 2 months after that, my family and I made the drive down to go meet him. Man, the best memories I had with that kid... I asked him out on June 21st, of 2014. Which yes, would be one year as of tomorrow. I have been so caught up in the emotions and memories of it lately, it's just that things change so quickly. The flashbacks I have of us two video chatting, sleeping together on camera, sneaking my phone out in class to text him, and of all the times we went out together during my visit, make everything so much harder because only 2 weeks ago, he told me that for the past 3 months, he was cheating on me. With him about to turn 19, and me going onto 18 here in September, I've never felt more of a distance from him.. A person who I loved so much, who I spent so much time & money on to visit, and who I did everything for - did this to me in return.... I was even going to attend college down there in 2016, for him. So all in all, LDR's are very great, and never take for granted the connection you have with somebody - no matter how far away they are. Just know what you're getting yourself into.

If both parties can stay committed until they can meet in person then I can definitely see an LDR working out. However, if either of the parties rushes it and doesn't wanna stay faithful then it will not work. Long distance requires lots of commitment, time, and work for both ends. Pleasing someone sexually over the internet can be very hard if that person has extensive sexual needs. But if they don't then it's easier. I was in many LDRs and I'm currently in one now. It's hard but hopefully worth it in the end....

I've been in a long distance relationship for a while now and even though there are nights where you think "I wish this person was here with me", there are still skype calls/facetimes where you both really prove to each other how much you want it. And, waking up still on the call with them is cute (in my opinion).

I may be 13 and people will say "Oh you're wasting your time with this person! You're too young to know what love is!" well in your opinion I "didn't find love". I met my boyfriend in Gettysburg when our families were on vacation and we loved each other when we layed eyes on each other. We live 9 hours away from each other and we are in pain because we miss each other so much. next month will be our 1 year anniversary and I am forever greatful

I'm in Sweden, my boyfriend in New Zealand. That's 18000kms and 11 hours between each other. We've been together for three years this fall, and I honesty believe that once you love someone there is no question or doubt. Making an effort and showing appreciation is key. We write letters to each other, phone calls, Skype dates, Facebook chat. Making your partner a part of your daily life, when they just happen to be on the other side of the world. I love you Joey.

A long distance relationship had to be one of the hardest things I've ever done. It sucks how close someone is (when you're on Skype), but so far away at the same time. I now know that the long distance relationship was good for us, because it taught us to really value the time we have together, when other couples would just take it for granted. While people were spending money on shopping and other things we were saving up to buy a plane ticket to see each other. We agreed that we'd never be more than 4 months apart (and we had a hard time getting the money). No one thought we would make it (people were actually betting on our break up!), but with love, loyalty and A LOT of effort we made it through and we've been together for 3 years and counting.. That really sucked, but not only have I made a best friend for life, we have also brought to each other an immeasurable amount of happiness that we didn't think was possible. My advice to whoever is on a long distance relationship is: 1. don't give up on each other; 2. have really good friends (who will understand what your relationship means to you and won't tell you to quit and find someone new. and most of all will stand by your side); 3. save money to see each other; 4. talk EVERY DAY (more than 3 times a day, if possible. Me and my bf would sleep with FaceTime/skype on, so we wouldn't lose that intimacy - cheesy, I know..); 5. try to always have a date set to see your loved one (it helps to countdown as opposed to not knowing when you'll see each other again); 6. be LOYAL (because although it's long distance, it's still a relationship. So every rule of a "normal" relationship applies). I hope you make it through and find happiness and love.

I am currently in a long distance relationship. We had been going out for about 7 months before I moved and I was so scared to tell her. It was the worst day of my life. Almost 2 years later we are still going strong and I get to see her once a month. Every thing you do to keep in touch helps. I talk to her every night. As it is my parents restrict my ability to talk to her, but they don't seem to realize that she is the only thing that makes things better for me. Ask yourself "is it worth it"? Think about what its like when you have a conversation with that person. How they make you feel. The way they smile at you. Those times when you know they love you with all of their heart because that's what makes it worth it. Being with someone who makes life fun, who turns your frown upside down. Someone you know will be with you through the hardships and not just the good times. I am currently a junior in Highschool and we plan to move in together after we graduate. (I'm going to be a senior in 2 months).

I'm in a long distance relationship with the most amazing person. It's true, it's not easy. Trust is harder to build, as is sharing the important events in each other's life. There have been moments when we needed but couldn't even see each other. But the effort we've put into the relationship has made it stronger. The days we spend together are the happiest of the year. We have shared beautiful, unique moments together. There have been problems, like any other couple would have them, but there hasn't been a moment when I thought "is it worth it?", because it is. He makes my heart rush, he makes me smile, he's the one who cuddles me when I cry. Every week away is worth the few hours with him.

I'm in a long distance relationship as well. Making time and communicating is so huge. And you definitely have to tell something about your day. In my opinion, it's harder to be in long distance relationship then to have one with someone who lives down the street. But if you can make it, then it really is worth all the efforts:

still in a long distance relationship..been almost 9years! my bf & I have known each other for a bit more than 10years...you can say we grew up together, even though we live MILES apart..he lives in the UK, I lived in US and I've been living in Indonesia since 6years ago..we met on an online game :) we both make plans to finally be together next fall! It's truly worth it if you have the patience (both of you), trust & love each other...and really willing to make the effort! "Effort" can be big or little things -- skyping, texting, calling, sending letters, sending each other silly video links and even visiting! We'd have to both agree that we've gone to love each other even more even after all these years :) Any relationship is worth it when you really love each other and make the time and effort! Even when long distance does suck. and lots of hurdles come by--we both need each other to go through it :)

I've been in a ldr for almost a year now and we don't run out of things to talk about. When your partner becomes your best friend you can never get bored of that person. Waiting and counting down the days to see them again is probably one of the most bittersweet feelings in the world. And it's only worth it if you make it worthwhile.

I am currently in a long distance relationship, we've been dating for one year. Met as freshman, but he had to stay home after that year...and we live on opposite sides of the country. Right now I'm actually in Europe with a 9 hour time difference...and I will not say it's easy. There are days where I have no motivation, where I cry because he's not there to help me, motivate me, make me feel better. The first time I saw him after separating I actually cried for a long time in his arms as he held me...because I hadn't realized how much I'd missed him for those few months... However I do know that he loves me, and we try to Skype every night. I love him so much and that is the only thing keeping us together. We visit during the breaks, and we know that once we graduate, we will get married and finally be together like we used to be. Until that day, we'll have to bear the separation with the knowledge that it makes the reunion that much sweeter...

That's exactly it: When you love someone, it's worth it. I've been with my boyfriend for two and a half years, and he joined the military 6 months ago. It really is difficult missing someone so much, but it makes the time you do share together so much more meaningful. We're only at the beginning of our crazy adventure, but we're dealing with it well knowing that we have a set future together. And even though we are long distance, he still makes me the happiest girl in the world.

BUT it's so worth it! you know what ? now we're stronger, we can face anything, we really got to know each other so well! so excited to be back in less than a month. i believe in long distance relationships even if everyone told me it wasn't going to work.

Long distance is so hard, and I literally skype with my partners everyday, and when you don't have the luxury of even holding their hand for months on end, you really treasure those few days you can. The days you can curl up against them on the bed, or kiss them, or sit in silence on the couch and watch a movie. Or even just cook them dinner while the other gets the computers ready for a raid night. It's hard, and some days it feels like a useless struggle, but if you can get past the lows, the relationship is stronger. Or at least, that's how mine is. Yes, there are arguments (it's two women dating a third, after all), but aren't there fights in any relationship? It's hard, but for me, it's so worth it.

Here's my very recent experience on LDR. So I met this guy online, in an mmo. We hang out all the time whenever we're online. We hunted together, fought together, got chased by boss monsters together. It was so fun. A month passed and we were still really close. Everyone would ask whenever one of us was absent, because we were always together. We exchanged numbers. I was the first one to call. I loved his voice. It's got dialect in it but I found it heart-warming. As the time passed we started teaching each other like bf/gf. Like, when someone got real close to me he'd swing his sword and said, 'she's mine! stay off her!' lol. It was really cute. This feeling you get whenever you're anxiously waiting for 'a certain person' to get online.. everything was so lovely. About some time later we became official. It started when I phoned him and I asked 'what are we', then he answered 'we could go out'. It was his decision. I was so happy. He often talked about visiting me right after he graduated from uni in November and all that. We live in different provinces, so it wouldn't be easy to get to each other. Starting last week he started to act really differently. He seemed to be constantly busy, or just avoiding me, I guess. Even so, I continued to put my trust in him. I am sure that was just a phase, he'd start caring back for me again. But on Sunday we fought, all was because I got a bit curious to why he didn't reply my text as fast as he used to. I texted him all the possible solutions to make this relationship work out. For half a day he didn't reply. Whilst waiting for a reply I talked to a friend who also plays the mmo with us. He constantly calmed me down, but in between he asked me if I ever checked my bf's fb, I said no. He said I should, so I checked it out. Apparently he's got engaged to another girl. As if it was planned, my bf texted me saying that we must stop here because he couldn't get over his ex-girlfriend. He went out with me to try to forget her. I told him I saw his fb and he said, 'oh, I haven't changed the relationship status because I couldn't get over her.' So apparently she has started contacting him again lately. Maybe regretting that she dumped him before. I don't know. I don't want to care. Well, moral of the story, if you're in a long-distance relationship, make sure to dig up his/her background first, stalk all of his/her social media profiles and don't be afraid to question everything before you fall too deep in love and get hurt. Cheers, sorry for the long post!

Would you be interested in messaging me for more details? So a great opportunity for the right couple. I’ve just sent you a longer message privately with more details.
