I've owned an ITS for 8 weeks now. Mine was a dealer demo too, pretty much exactly the same as your car except mine didn't have the copper wheels, but other than that it came with all the accessories. I have the same panel gap on the front bumper, which really irks the hell out of me. The mirror covers were the same as yours. I thought they looked stupid and sloppy so I had the dealer remove them. I figured they'd be like the mirror housings you can change out on the M2 I used to have, but no, it's just a cheap looking cover that goes over the existing mirror cap and is held on with tape, and it just doesn't look like it fits right at all. The seats... Yep, they suck. I've never driven a Civic SI, but I'd guess even that has much better seats than the ITS, which is pretty sad. These are pretty much the same seats as any other Integra. They could've made some sort of effort to make a slightly better seat, but apparently it wasn't worth cutting into their profit margin. And when you consider the features that lower level Integra models have, like memory seats, electric adjustment on the passenger seat... Hell, even the auto-dropping passenger side mirror when you're in reverse... They even removed that feature. This car is de-contented and low effort on Acura's part, and they've got a lot of nerve to ask what they're asking for it. It is definitely a blast to drive, but as an owner, it pains me to say this - It isn't worth anywhere near what Acura is charging for it at MSRP. Out of curiosity I looked at trading it in. The offer I got was 44k (with only 1100 miles on it). Is that what the car is actually worth in this market? I know trade-in offers are never great, but that's pretty sorry. If you really want an ITS, wait a few years until Acura has made more of these cars than they can sell at MSRP and they're having to give deals on them.

I recommend the PPF in that thr areas covered stand a better chance against getting stoned or chiped. While not 100% effective its still way better than s ceramic which does absolutely nothing. I have my entire front end covered and the beck bumper.

Im surprised the ITS had that many flaws for being new but that's how dealerships get away with so much because people want the car so much they deal with the flaws later. however its not bad, I would def get the wire fixed and that clear coat. I am very shocked by that. It shouldve been caught during PDI but it is what it is. It still a good car. As for tires, I would say get the Continental DWS06. If you wasnt in MI i would say get the Continental ECS

Thanks for the recommendations. I gonna take it to the dealership. People with the updated Acura badges seem to have the bumper alignment issue. This most likely was caused at the dealership.

My Integra had the same front bumper issue it took a minute for me to get them to fix it but they finally fixed it by replacing the clips underneath

Almost everone with thay bumper alignment had the swapped badge. They probably messed it up when they put the bumper back on. Ive known a few people in my type S group and they all got it fixed easily.

This..or the new 24 Mustang GT 5.0 fully loaded? Two very different cars i know. But I'm so torn. I had my mind set on the ITS for the past few months. But the more I started looking into the Mustang the more I think it might suit me better. I'm a bigger guy at 280 lb into bodybuilding 6 foot 2. The coupe has more room. I did test drive the A spec in this and it was great. So I imagine the extra horsepower in the Type S is awesome. But I can only buy one, I'm paying cash for it. Either way whichever car I choose will only be driven in summertime on sunny days or on a weekend. I have a daily driver as well as my motorcycles that I use. My last Summer only car I only put 48,000 km on it over 7 years. So that being said, what one would you take as a summer only car. I think the Acura would hold its value better and resell factor. But the more these electric cars come out they are pretty fast. And I don't want to be getting spanked in 5 years time by a Honda accord making over 300 horsepower from an electric engine of some sort. Knowing all this which one would you take? The Mustang GT 5.0 with 486 horse or the Integra Type S. And remember it's only for a weekend warrior on a sunny day type thing

I would say Mustang if it's a summer only car. The Type S should hold value more but the Mustang and that glorious V8. That's what I would do. Muscle car for the muscle man.

I love the tiger eye yellow version of this car. What are your thoughts of the old Camaro after owning these hot hatches? You have to miss the attention at the gas pump or on the street because probably some don't recognize the performance aspect of a 4 door hatch.

The carbon fiber mirror caps are weird, they are designed that way to expose the original paint color on the side mirror. I don't know why Honda/Acura thought this design would look good, just looks a bit odd.

Most of the “dealer accessories” are horrible and cheap and poorly designed 😢 I hate to say that about this car but it’s the truth!! The rear spoiler is the worst the mounting holes are completely different so they drill more holes in your trunk lid and cover the old ones with a piece of tape!! Yes a piece of tape is all that is keeping water from leaking in your new $55K Acura!!! (how long you think a piece of tape will last??😢) And yes those wires for your illuminated door sills are just laying in there right on the metal with no plastic sheathing so those will eventually wear through and short out… Hate to say it but most of those Acura accessories are trash and ultimately just hack your car and reduce its overall longevity and reliability… And yes they also dropped the ball on those rear fenders with stick on fender flairs… that is NOT Acura quality as it used to be…. All that said I STILL want one 😎. It is what it is…most all new anything is cheaply made and disposable these days😢

I’d say they didn’t completely remove all the correct interior trim pieces to install your door sills!!! I don’t know how else you could just shove wires in there like that 🫣. I’d then be wondering if they even put that piece of tape (pitiful as that is for Acura to use!) over the old holes or even painted the bare metal on the new holes that they drilled when they put the new spoiler on. I was all hyped about the accessories they looked good on paper… then I saw what they really were and the installation methods… dammit Acura/Honda of USA that’s just sad…

@@QueTheChaotic One thing I've also run into is "sticky steering" (w lane assist disabled) on the hwy. The steering wheel sticks in a position and you have to jerk the wheel to get control. Similiar to when lane assist is enabled. I'm not sure if it was mentioned or you've experienced it with the Aspec? From what I've read, there were faulty racks in some of the Civics and Integras. I noticed it was happening recently and confirmed the symptoms today
