Being the only guy in an all boys secondary school (high school) with about 900 students growing long hair did result in being called a girl and being told to get a hair cut but after a point they accepted i wasnt going to get a hair cut and I inspired others to grow long hair . Long hair brought wider acceptance and inspiration .

my hair has been growing for over 5 years now, amd it has grown to my lower back, and get compliments all the time, and jokingly asked to donate it to those that ask. Especially in the African American community - which is part of my church family, lol. But I am glad to hear that IF I do decide for a change in style, or if for some reason I need to shorten my locks, that there is a place that I can feel good to donate to.

I got my hair cut short. Just wasn't working well with me and I'm pretty sure I know why. When I started growing my hair, I rarely shampoed and conditioned my hair because I didn't really think about fully growing my hair out at the time. Then when my hair was noticeably longer, I started using shampooing and conditioning, but even then, I probably wasn't doing the procedure properly like how much shampoo to use, how much conditioner to use, how to apply it to your hair and how often you should shampoo and condition. Growing your hair long is definitely good discipline from my experience. Great video by the way.

The Longhairs Yeah, the weather here in Australia here has 2 seasons, wet and dry. So condition twice a week or twice per wash as in 6 conditions in total. Thanks for the advice :)

@@Vinnay94 I tend to condition every I shampoo my hair which is like 2-3 times a week because hair is fine and it gets dry on the ends. Sometimes I'll even just rinse my hair with water in the shower, no shampoo just conditioner and I find it works a treat on keeping my hair moisturized :)

But these guys aren't about selling shit loads of hair ties, but building a community of long haired men so men that do want to grow there hair feel more comfortable buying hair ties, brushes etc.
