"unfilmable things" Honestly, even if you'd stick a cap on with one of those poles that rotate around and film in that all seeing bubble angle, and it would speen around and bang on things, i'd still watch it. This channel is just that entertaining. Heck, give the cat a camera and let it out in the shop.

ROB, IF you use a 5 point harness WITHOUT a roll cage you are at risk of injuring yourself in the event of a roll-over. The 5 point doesn't allow you to roll to the side when the roof caves in, you will most likely brake your neck. At the very least have a single hoop cage behind you to provide minimal roll over protection. One more thing, ALWAYS wear a Hans device with a 4 or 5 point harness. The harness and seat does such a good job holding you in even a small impact can snap your neck. Please be careful......

better to snap the neck right away than end up in flames from the exposed fuel system inside the cabin lol

@@comethiburs2326 bro it’s kinda a running joke that Rob only truly cares about rotary engines. If he spent 20% of the money and the time he spent on the wiring harness and spent it on safety improvements I personally would love that video. Those coatings look great. Btw brake cooling ducts on the front will be a cheap but very effective way of improving on the brakes, and i have a hunch that with the stock rotor size and calipers, though capable, with the power this thing is making it will get the brakes crispy after a few hard laps.

Rob I really am enjoying your channel even more. The 3 rotor is now not just a straight line car but instead becoming a well sorted out weapon. I have ohlins on my Fd and trust me you will not be disappointed. The 3 rotor is has more torque than the 2 rotor, which should help you with acceleration coming out the turns. Keep an eye on engine temps because the three rotor will normally get hotter than the two rotor. A good cooling system will be needed.

The SRF fluid is crazy good though, worth the price it you're too lazy to regularly flush your brake fluid. The wet boiling point is higher than a lot of other fluid's dry boiling point. It's difficult to boil that fluid, even if it's many years old.

Those only hesitation I have about the ceramic coatings is that if the part ever fails or cracks and you have to re weld something its an absolute nightmare and I can only imagine how much worse it would be with the stuff on the inside..but it looks amazing..
@Pheatan2 жыл бұрын
You also have to think about the fact that the piece wont be getting as hot of a heat cycle to damage the welds in the first place. I probably wouldn’t ceramic coat something until after testing and tuning because thats when those parts are most likely to fail, so build them to survive then add coating as redundancy.

Legit seeing all that trunk space got my brain imagining a massive rear mount radiator and oil cooler setup with all that room for activities. Maybe even throw a huge intercooler back there for all the cooling. No clue why, I just love those types of setups. Another thing you could maybe look into installing is a water reservoir and pump with lines running to the tires so that you can spray them down if you notice them getting too hot and to maybe get a little extra life from them. Could also send a link out to the front mount and radiator to mist them with water to help them with cooling. Just random thoughts to help out!
