Dang Rob, I typically agree with you, but you're wrong for putting any blame on the fans for the 6 home loses... In this economy fans have to make decisions to go watch the Seahawks lose at home or catch up on some bills and anyone calling out the fans like it's their fault this team went 3-6 at home with a straight face is full of it.... Hey Rob, You know who gets paid to play on the field in seattle?.. The seahawks player & coaches and they make a heck of a lot more money than these fans you're blaming here... I don't see any fans linning up and taking snaps, So Rob slowdown and realize the players & coaches are 100% to blame for their record... And Rod, You can't say the record is because the others teams fans are in Seattle because the seahawks road record is much better....

Generally speaking, it takes new coaches 2-3 seasons to establish their systems. I would say Pete Caroll established/emphasized the 12th man (I don't remember Holmgren saying over and over, the 12th man really showed up). We were spoiled by Pete one of the most amazing coaches I have seen in my lifetime. I think Grubb's offense along with the offensive line made it difficult for Geno to shine. When you have a below-average offensive line you need to run plays that don't expose the weaknesses of the offensive line over and over. I'd go more West Coast offense and get the ball out 2.7 seconds (dink and dunk) mostly an efficient short-yardage game (and run the ball too). What I saw was constant stress on the offensive line with long-developing plays. Another words try to manage the offensive lines energy so they might have the ability to block for an explosive play when you really need them. Geno early in the season was amazing at dealing with the pressure but you can't ask a player to endure that much pressure every game (you'll fry them). See Jarred Goff for a quarterbacks who's most effective when he releases the ball in under 2.5 seconds and has a great offensive line (Geno beat him last year with less). Tom Brady didn't always have great offensive lines but he was always top 5 at getting the ball out (averaging about 2.8 seconds) If the offensive line isn't totally gassed from having to block long developing plays they'll perform better when you need it.

@@Perfumery_by_Sabin Geno has a worse TD/INT ratio this year as a 34 year old veteran than all rookie QB's average TD/INT ratio since 2010. Since 2010 all rookie QB's with at least 12 starts have averaged 14.6 games, 17.5 TD's and 12.4 INT's. The Geno slander is warranted.

We need two new qb, fire woolen, let Lockett retire, dump all our extra money on a rookie qb and O line. Geno will never get us there! Hell I’d be happy to see Wilson come back to Seattle and make home games great again! I never once even seen Wilson be negative let alone be crying or slamming things on the sideline. He was like the team cheerleader, Geno doesn’t have those vibes at all.

@@brianmyers4444 That just goes to show how Geno crumbles when it matters most, redzone. Everyone wants to blame the O-line as an excuse for Geno, yet that O-line was good enough for Geno to post those yards and completion percentage, yet with that same O-line Geno is the worst redzone QB in the NFL over the last 2 years. Think about that, back to back seasons being the worst redzone QB in the NFL, and that's with different HC's, different OC's and a different O-line. 14 years of stats for rookie QB's averaging a better TD/INT ratio than a 34 year old vet is pretty damning.
