Love your show... Been focused on healthspan for DECADES and I'm now I'm in my '70s and look around and see all my cohorts in very bad shape and I'm so glad I started early. Always appreciate your insights. Thanks so much

The Gem. data is complemented by work out of the Lamming lab on amino acid restriction and aging (isoleucine, a dipeptide) as well as work out Jay Mitchell's lab several years ago. So, managing glucose levels and specific amino acid intake seem to be two ways we can intervene without drugs/supplements.

And I want to add that an extension of lifespan in C elegans doesn't usually translate in humans unfortunately. As for extensions in mice, they may translate, but they have to be substantial, for instance, an extension of 10% in mice is pretty irrelevant for humans, we need a large/very large extension in mice for it to be relevant for us. Of course, frailty is a big concern so treating frailty is very relevant.

Hello. With regards to the women and menopause studies, have you any results reflecting NR/NMN use and the return of menstruation? Would really like any information you’ve seen or heard. Many thanks glad to have found your channel.

Question is how acurrate is the clock used? There are so many clocks in the longevity field, and no consensus on which is best?

Is there any data on the combination of aka and rapamycin? Could they be additive? Complimentary? Cancelling? Any tests of this?

AKG, not AKA. 🙄

Unfortunately several reagents, including metformin, berberine, and NAD+ boosters, interfere with the benefits of AKGs. Great presentation.

Does rapamycin interfere with the benefits of AKG? I don't believe he addressed that specific issue.
