I was told only medical professionals can purchase it. Although you don't meet a medical degree to use it...not sure why we can't buy one...they ate only $2800
@l.i.l.i.s.e.l.l.s8 ай бұрын
@@energyrep777please don’t tell me they’re only $2,800 because they charge SO much to get treatment . It’s honestly left me quite bitter about it. $780 for 8 sessions first session was $50 and that was about 30 minutes to find the area and plan treatment and the 8 sessions are about 5 minutes … so it’s nearly $100 for 5 minutes . I’m 3 sessions in and don’t feel much different. Will try running today and see if the inflammation gets bad .

thanks for contrasting this tech with other shockwave devices. im interested in the device for my clinic. towards the end you said the softwave does 3 things. evidence is there that the light flash does anything productive? i have experience with using light/laser and red or infrared have healing capabilities. i dont get what white flash of light does. you also said Softwave stimulates stem cells but there are several "shockwave" devices that make the same claim.
That light is the “shockwave” it creates a mechanotransductive effect on the cell that creates a biological cascade that moderates the inflammatory process, improves blood flow and stem cell healing to the area. It’s an amazing technology to use!

I know everyone is different but how many sessions are typically needed to get significant improvement from severe knee pain and what is the typical cost of said treatment?
@TheChiropracticSource2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment! A typical treatment protocol usually is 8-12 visits depending on patient severity. A detailed consultation and evaluation would be done to find out if you are a candidate for this device and will help the doctors understand how long it may take to regenerate or heal

I had my first treatment yesterday. During the process you feel a little tenderness wherever there's inflammation but you let them know and they turn it down. You have to get a series of this of treatments in order for to be long-lasting and permanent. I felt 75% better and didn't need my ibuprofen!

Typically the first treatment would give a few days of improvement. When you do the 8 visit protocol that is typically recommended the body begins to regenerate and you get relief lasting longer.

Does this help with relieving pain from a L5-S! disc bulge
@dr.marcoferrucci25042 жыл бұрын
This can help decrease pain and inflammation in the lower spine. The disc bulge can also be due to abnormal posture / structure, so we would also recommend doing a corrective chiropractic approach in addition to softwave therapy.

@sharonreynolds-kyledc.mari38362 жыл бұрын
Very misleading regarding “ other shockwave devices” Focused shockwave regenerates the tissue stimulating remodeling of it, stimulates stem cell regeneration & human growth factor release, and modulates substance P & CRGP to immediately reduce the inflammation and pain. It is also diagnostic as you only feel it on the damaged tissue and the hand piece diameter looks to be the same size as the softwave and we rarely do more than 3-10 visits to resolve msk issues. And more research on it than on focused shockwave? I appreciate that you want to promote your softwave device but in the process you shouldn’t be misleading people on the value of focused shockwave. There are plenty of patients in need of these noninvasive and highly effective therapies enabling them to avoid corticosteroid injections and surgery.

**************** Regarding the "me too" device referenced in the 510(k) application: (from the 510(k) application for that referenced device as follows) In my opinion, the FDA fell far short by accepting the following application as it appears below. Dermablate Effect Common Name: Dermablate Effect Classification Name: Instrument, surgical, powered, laser 79-GEX 21 CFR 878.481 Equivalent Devices: MCL 30 Dermablate Lux2940 Erbium Fractional Handpiece Profile ProFractional Handpiece Photosilk Plus Cellactor SC1 D-Actor Vibration Massage System Device Description: The Dermablate Effect is a pulsed Er:YAG laser emitting a wavelength of 2940 nm, that can optionally be equipped with a pulsed light module (APL) and an acoustic wave module (AW). Intended Use: The Dermablate Effect Er:YAG laser with handpiece of larger spot sizes is intended for use for coagulation, vaporization, ablation or cutting of soft tissue (skin) in dermatology, plastic surgery, oral surgery and ophthalmology (skin around the eyes). The Dermablate Effect Er:YAG laser with fractional handpiece is intended for dermatological and skin resurfacing procedures. The Dermablate Effect can be equipped optionally with the following modules: Asclepion Pulsed Light (APL) and Acoustic Wave (AW). The Asclepion Pulsed Light is intended for permanent hair reduction, treatment of vascular and pigmented lesions and inflammatory acne. The Acoustic Wave is intended for the activation of connective tissue. Comparison to: The Dermablate Effect is substantially equivalent to the MCL 30 Dermablate (with regard to the Er:YAG laser module with handpiece of larger spotsizes), to the Lux2940 Erbium Fractional Handpiece and the Profile ProFractional Handpiece (with regard to the Er:YAG laser module with fractional handpiece) to the Photosilk Plus (with regard to the APL module) and to the class 1 products Cellactor SC1 and D-Actor 200 (with regard to the AW module) with the same principles of operation, and the same indications for use. I’ve had prolotherapy and Softwave. Softwave is quite stronger and results in less downtime but is more expensive. It’s also 100% risk free because only damaged tissue will react to the treatment.
