Hello Chris, this is Yettel, Allen’s wife we shared the same KZbin I am the one watching all your videos, and I have loved all of them, but specially this one. I hope that many of us here in US do the same you did. Our lifestyle here is all about work, there is never enough time, zero sense of community. If someone says hi to you we just think that person is very weird and we get scare… I hope to move to either Italy or Spain next year as we both work from home and can be pretty much anywhere. I prefer Italy, so I hope we can do that and maybe meet you. Please continue to do this it is great to see what you do and how many people you are helping and also I really enjoy the before and after house renovation… take care chao!

Chris, much appreciated. I am stuck in the Bay Area and dreaming of my escape. I spent time in Macerata (Marche) as a teenager. I am so looking forward to getting back over and find my place in Bella Italia.

Hi William! I am hearing some good news coming out of the European area. Ukraine has opened up to travelers with testing protocols much like those in Aruba. I was able to travel to Aruba but tested before I left and after I arrived. It is a great system. You quarantine until you get your test results and I got mine the next day. we are so hoping that Italy starts something similar.

Italians are the best dressed people in the whole world. Young and old . Even the old señoras are really lady like dressed. Italian people could wear expensive to cheap outfits : they are cool , smart and elegant. Also in Italy is the best country to shop either in the most expensive boutiques to casual open market. Chris, I’d really love to visit Calabria one day . I usually book our stays by Airbnb . Or do you have apartments for rent? for 2 persons ? In fact we are scheduled in Sept for 10 days to Amalfi Coast but our Airbnb in Sant’ Agnello decided to stay closed this whole year therefore they cancelled all reservation . Well , we re not sure though if we would proceed with this vacation , but after having watched plenty of your videos I feel like visiting your place instead of Amalfi in September, October or next year in May 2021 . If we could rebook our flight without extra big cost. We are from Vienna, Austria

U totally right... "U are what u eat!", that's what old spaniards used to say... Talking about "modern" stressful, fast, race towards the so called "success in life" that's BS... people don't understand that they should slow down a bit since they won't take anything with them on the other side... All the best Chris!

I can't even imagine the fear of your son missing in San Jose. We had a student run away from our school here in rural Idaho, and several of us drove around for hours looking for him. It's pretty safe here. How scary for you!

Yes it was ridiculous. The school was like "Hey, we lost a special needs kid last week and he turned up so what are you upset about?" It was surreal.

Loved the story, and glad you got out of the rat race. What happened to your kid happened to me once, but I was the child! Lol! My mom too had a stressful career (she was a VP of sales in the 70s in Ecuador. Women didn't really work back then, but my mom was a high level executive.), and she simply forgot to pick me up after I got back to school from a filed trip. Fortunately we knew some people who lived near the school so I went to their home. :) You always talk about how welcoming people were to you. I am uncertain if this would be our case since we are lesbians. Italy is known for its homophobia, especially in the south. What have you seen regarding this? Have you seen couples hold hands in public? How about public displays of homophobia?
@SuperSavvyTravelersLLC3 жыл бұрын
Hi Marta, Thank you! I am so sorry that happened to you as a kid. No one should go through that. It was awful as you know!

I am sorry if you all disagree, but i think this is related to the new feminism that they make you to achieve a high company position. I mean make you to believe you must to provide money and forget the important role to be a woman, providing care, love and compasion to the family.

There are a lot unrealistic expectations set up by women's magazines especially. It can be hard not to buy into the false illusions they create.

@@SuperSavvyTravelersLLC I have a fabulous house for sale in Italy if you wish to sell it for me. We are in the province of Parma in a beautiful mountain region,bordering Liguria and Tuscany. The villa lends itself perfectly as a small boutique hotel or b&b. It's a 5 minutes walk to the small town centre. Everyone is extremely friendly and their festa's are fabulous. The villa has had many local artisans working on it and many features are truly magnificent.
