About to transition my 6 month old into s shared room with a almost 3 year old...this video was so realistic and helpful! Gave me a good idea of different scenarios that I hadn't even considered! THANK YOU! ❤

I know this video was posted awhile ago, but for any newcomers to Embers, new parents, soon to be new parents, etc. It is healthier to puree your own baby food, and canned veggies do contain quite a bit of salt, but as she states in the video, you can rinse canned veggies well to get most of the salt off. You could rinse off some canned fruits to get the syrup off that is super high in sugars. I know many watch these for the shared experiences, education, tips, etc. I hope this helps someone out there. Great video Embers and Ash! 💙

Put the peppers on the burner to blister the skin, place in a ziplock bag, to allow them to steam. After a few minutes &rub the chard skin off, then cut up.

To get skins off try roasting them over the stove holding tongs then place in a ziplock baggy to sweat. Then the skins will peel right off! 😁👍

So how far along is he with his BLW here? My son has been on purees since 4 months and now just turned 6 months so introducing BLW once a day. But he gags so often and certainly isnt as skilled and confident as Rook in this video. How long has he been eating like this for? Thanks! Very helpful video

How did you get rook to start putting food in his mouth! I’m having trouble with my son he doesn’t quite understand that it’s food and just throws it and I feel I’m being wasteful with everything he eats!
@anna333763 жыл бұрын
I dont get it, babies put everything in their mouth, even non food, like toys, thats how they learn,thats why they also put food in the mouth.

@@branndy121212 my pediatrician told me, if my baby won't put solids in his mouth, he isn't ready to eat them yet. Did you try to show him how you eat the things you offer him?

@@branndy121212 I wouldn’t worry about it. When it’s time form him, he’ll eat solids. My sister was also rejecting everything, she only wanted breast for a very long time, doctor said she was fine....

Love this! I did purees with my first babe and he didn't have any interest in food until we switched to finger food. I'm so excited to try BLW with #2. Already planning out menus and she wont even be born for another month haha.

Curious if the plate actually suctions well to the Tripp Trapp tray? We have the Stokke Steps and haven't had any luck! I read Tripp Trapp was the same --- might pick myself up some of these if so ♥️

That was really interesting thank you. I found it hard to give my daughter foods that I didn’t like, I’m quite fussy though! I couldn’t face giving her banana, can’t stand the smell! Are u following a book for baby led weaning? I would defiantly do it differently if I had a second child

My baby is 5 months old and although my pediatrician said we can start solids, I'm so scared of choking! Also, I've read that a lot of health organizations recommend starting at 6 months, unless there is some medical reason. We don't have a "medical reason". Also, how do you tie him? Around the waist only?
@Arch555672 жыл бұрын
Milks->grains->fruits->veggies->meat->ocean food and fishes->mushrooms, this way to try accordind to age, do not make experiment on babys, it's not the rabbit.
