We've got throwback pics, reactions to coming out on Facebook, and surprise guests. There's hair all over our apartment and we still love wearing basketball shorts whenever possible.
We don't understand many LGBTQ labels aside from butch and femme. What is a chapstick lesbian? Do you know what our labels might be? And how cute are these comments on Facebook to Sadie's coming out story!?

I have never commented on a KZbin video before..but this video made me realize I’m very overdue for posting my appreciation of your channel! The content that you two have created in the past year has made this channel the most refreshing LGBTQ+ KZbin channel I have found since I came out. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to find content that offered advice, support, and interesting discussion that might help me feel less alone in my coming out journey; finding your channel has offered all of this and more! You two have created a space that allows viewers better insight on navigating the LGBTQ+ community/coming out (which can often feel overwhelming at times), honest discussion about relationships and/or the community (that is often left out of other channels because it’s seems “uninteresting”), and fun content that puts a smile on anyone’s face during this rather unsettling time. That was a looooooong ramble haha, but I just had to let you know how much your channel has meant to me. So thank you!! I hope to see you two find even more success in your KZbin journey over the coming years!

This comment left me beaming from ear to ear- thank you so much! We're honored to be a small part of your journey. We're here for all the discussion (even if it is upsetting and not funny) and are so grateful for people like you who share some of your story with us. In short- it's our pleasure! And thank you!

My "label" I have always used, if it is one, since childhood is tomboy. I hate being called a "butch" because I feel like it means I'm trying to be totally a male, which I am not. Sure I am more apt to wear cargo pants/shorts and basic t-shirts for comfort but not trying to look male. Funny thing is I have never worn a dress unless I was required to, prom, graduation and sisters wedding.😆

Tomboy- a tried and true classic! It's funny how (in society, it seems) what we choose to wear is so loosely tied to what we are comfortable in! Cheers to wearing what feels right

Loved it ladies!! Best wisdom I ever heard.. See I was just like you all, I basically wearing what I wanted to wear when I grew up.. From dresses when I was like 5 to now wearing basketball shorts to flannel.. I didn't know it was a lesbian thing at the time.. I just dressed comfortable and I still do.. I was never big on labels, so who knows what I would be label at.. Great news you all decided to start your own music channel.. Can't wait to see what songs you will put on there.. Still shocking to me, how you two don't have a cd.. You all are awesome.. Much love to you both.. Stay sweet and keep on rockin!!

Great video! Being the only one and that you don't have to change your clothing style are the ones I can relate most. LGBTQIA+ vocabulary is something you can constantly learn more about. One of the most important thing I (try to) do is not to make any assumptions. As you said, you were also partly were surprised by people's reactions. I also received so much love by people I came out to.

Sadie! That picture with "blue" balloons behind, really tell it all. What makes sense for me now is that since age 6 to 22, mimicking the "Nelly" style at school and with friends, I was wearing shorts, pants, tops and t-shirts. No dresses and skirts. I just learnt in 2013 that it doesn't matter what we wear, it matters most who we are in the inside, and that can only be showed to those we love. Now I can wear according to what I feel comfortable with in different days.

Simply awesome... Let me start by saying I loved the throwback pics, so cute... I'm a creature of comfort, so like wearing clothes that are easy and in my mind I can wear anywhere... So usually jeans, and some form of shirt.. And I have cargo shorts, and pants... My Mum reminded me the other day that when I was younger I refused to wear anything that didn't have pockets, and hated dresses oooh alarm bells or were they?? A term that gets used here for non straight people is "skeef" which translated is "Skew", basically the opposite of straight lol go figure.. . There are other terms used, but don't know if I should share it here... Anyway I'm being long winded againg... you might not believe it because I always ramble on and on, but I struggle to find the words to describe what the two of you mean to me, and how much I relate to each of your videos, and find them so thought provoking.. So just thank you from the bottom of my heart... Dankie dames 💕🌼🇿🇦

Great subject!! I wonder do men have enough enough inner freedom to express themselves the way you two expressed your selves. I think it's harder for bi men to be accepted among gay men. I could be wrong of course but it's just a feeling I have. Love your channel. You two are so deep.
@HannahSadie

Great questions- I think you're right. Men have a lot of different pressure to remain emotionally guarded. And there's so much toxic masculinity out there tied to homophobia... I imagine it would be much tougher to be understood as a bisexual man.

Big thing: I feel like labels in the “common vernacular” often assume presentation & personality are one and the same. Like, there are people with much more masculine energies who present feminine, and people who may present more masc with soft/feminine energy. It’s common. But I feel like often with the slang (especially on apps), there’s an assumption that it’s all one package. Wrong.

Stereotypes and labels we can't avoid them unfortunately, i've been told once "you are gay, but you still look feminine !?". I'm a human being who happened to be gay, it's just one of my qualities.

Frenchy kitten, Unfortunately your right stereotypes & labels are unavoidable, there's stereotypes about everything like religion, racial, gender, to your athletic ability or lack thereof etc. the difference is as members of the LGBTQ community it's socially acceptable to come up and say it to us.

Oh gosh to use "but feminine"... that's so rough! We feel you and we know labels can be really hurtful. We're sorry people have used them in harmful ways to you! Anyway, cheers to using labels if and when they feel right to US.

@@HannahSadie To be honest i was more confused than hurt, i still don't know what "being feminine " look like. He told me that his friends was mainly butch lesbians and the fact that i wasn't, was as he said "awsome and that i shouldn"t change". I've had many more harsh comments from women than men, been mistaken for a man (probably because i shave my head), been proposed some threesome or go to a swingers club, and many more... yet i still see this situations as an opportunity to learn, educate and share differents points of views.

There a lots of terms or even code words that come from LGBTQ history. I highly recommend reading Another Mother's Tongue by Judy Grahn. Also Odd Girls and Twighlight Lovers by Lillian Fadermen. I also think it might be a slight generational thing. Obviously you guys are not old at all, but the next teenage generation is the one that mostly uses those terms so that might be why you feel like you don’t know the terms. It’s because they are recently being used and created
